The singer's spokesman claimed an "ear, nose and throat" infection kept him from singing at the event in Herefordshire. But fans and workers at the festival were more skeptical of his motives and defaced banners and daubed graffiti across the site, claiming they were "fortunate" to have missed out on a performance by the "pathetic" Grace Kelly hitmaker. Mr Scruff, The Blockheads, Kruder + Dorfmeister and DJ Yoda all performed at the annual event.
