Im not really sure... I dont really understand what is going on, between you and MIKA, I can understand if you feel cheated, perhaps, by having this new MIKA come along and manage to be pretty succesful, and people feel dissapointed if they book tickets expecting MIKA and Its you, but the music styles are totally different, Reggae and Pop, im not sure how they manage to get confused, but you said it happens. But i mean, If you go onto Myspace bands, and search Mika, there are 28 Mika's, not including MIKA fan pages, and if you want MIKA to change his name, would you not want all those other Mika's to change their name too? I reply to your email about the confusion with my own name MIKA. First of all I perform with my name for more than 20 years. You talk about the different music style - but I use to perform in Festivals not especially reggae festivals and I know that the promoters won't program 2 MIKA on the same poster. Also the record company, the radio program won't never program me again cause MIKA (UK) is very famous now - the others MIKA you talked about don't make any confusion cause there aren't known here in Europe - that make the big difference. MIKA is a diminutif of my family name MIKALAKOUDIS. I don't have anything against MIKA - UK - I also like his music, that's not the problem. I hope you understand better now with those explanations. She's belgian, so i think its either xD but still, people from all over te world speak excellent english here =] Exactly, i mean, no festival would have both Mika's.
