Thank you! This is good news! my ticket will be cheaper than I thought then! AWESOME! But 5:30, it means we will get to Montreal like at 12:15! Will I be able to get back home in the metro? I wonder if everyone is interested in the same info we report all the time - getting to the gig, the queue activity, hoping to catch Mika before the gig, the gig, after the gig, etc., and then all the pics that accompany. I received the flashing wand thingies the other day, they are soooooooooo cool! You're gonna love them! The only thing to be careful about is that we don't wear the batteries out before the gig; knowing me and pretty flashing lights, I will need restraining so I don't have it on ... Yeah I was really planning to skip off but my boss screwed me over by sending out an email yesterday at 4:57 pm saying that he's taking next week off. I can't just not show up for 3 whole days afterwards when I've got all these month-end issues to sort out. I'm taking a week off next month-end to go to London so I can't protest too much. Why are these Mika gigs at the end of every f*cking month!!?? Honestly it's been a nightmare trying to work this out since November. But when I finally got my sense back I realised it wasn’t going to happen. Even if I should go by London it will be too expensive. This summer I have to buy building material, we are renovating the summerhouse, so there will my money go! I wish you the best of times and I hope with whole my heart that you will be able to meet the Man and talk to him, small venue wasn’t it? Take care in the cold queuing; why not bring a thermos with hot chocolate? But London in February is still on my list of course and I’m looking forward to meet you there! Mind you, it's going to be a short flight considering I leave London at around 11 am and get to Toronto before 5. and I thought that Canada was further away than that:roftl:. I have this thing against posting a specific time. Once you post a specific time, then the whole world knows to come even earlier than you... unless of course you lie and say something like you're gonna be there for 7pm. The first person in the queue at the last London show got there at 9 am. But the venue was 3 or 4 times the size of the Kool Haus and I don't think Toronto is sold out yet. Even though some of us arrived quite early in London, there were people showing up at 2 or 3 pm who would have ended up in the first row had the show not been cancelled. I don't know what time we're getting there to be honest. If it was summer I'd get there in the morning and just wait it out, but it's going to be cold and possibly snowing. I don't live far from the venue so we may just sort of hover around until others start showing up so we're not outside any longer than is absolutely necessary. For meeting him you could try to catch him as he's going in for soundcheck which might be around 2-5 pm but it's more likely he'll stop for autographs after the show. Last time he was here it was easy because he played the MOD Club so he just came out into the club after the show. This time we may have to go back outside and wait for him to leave the venue. Yeah he's just never going to play a venue in Toronto where you'd have to arrive at 7 am. If he was that popular he wouldn't be playing the Kool Haus and we'd have seated tickets.
