I know you say Câuto in Slovakia and CZ, maybe not in Latvia :lmao:

 

Well, today there was a mini-marathon 8km race in Lisbon, and I went... now my feet hurt :roftl:

 

And you?

 

In Latvia it's -čau!:roftl:

Well it was a very big race, and even the prime minister ran, so I don't know:roftl:

But I got lots of free powerade and cereal bars and milk and t-shirts and Cornetto mint!! yum!!:bleh:

 

I like swimming too;)

I heard Slovakia? I`m not sure what you are talking about.. Probably how to say hello in Slovak? Then it would be "Ahoj!" read like "ahoy", plural would be "Ahojte"! You can say also "čau" (singular) or "čaute" (plural) but it is not originaly Slovak, it is taken from Italian apparently. And we write it without that little upsidedown hook above "a".

It's because a friend of mine from Slovakia would always greet me with "čauto", and I wrote it "Câuto" here because my keyboard didn't have that sign.
