The Who's Magic Bus. Let's get in tune!

Yep, that's true, the windmill and the mic thingy are still there :punk: I don't think I'll ever forget the first time Pete did that in the gig: the whole crowd went mad!!! And Roger sort of got envyous and started his mic swinging, so it was a kind of duel.

Combining those 2 together makes the corwd go even more mad, it's a legendery thing. Even the lead singer of The Hives has copied the mic thing from Roger....and stole Mick Jagger's moves. :naughty:

. Aaaahhh, a time machine would be sooooooo amazing! Can you imagine? I've always wished I had lived those fab years...

Oh yes and actually witness Keith Moon going crazy on drums, that would have been great.

Yes, many musicians have copied them, but no one will ever reach their legend, that's impossible.

And don't forget John Entwistle, nobody can play bass like him. A friend of mine was so lucky as to go to their gig at the Albert Hall and told me he was the one to watch! However, Pino Palladino is a good musician too. I like the band they have now. Not quite the same, but alright.

BTW, what do you tink about Casbah Club, Pete's little brother's band? They were the supporting act in 2006 and I loved them, they were so powerful.

Joh Entwistle passed away right when they were to imbark on the USA tour in 2001, what a targedy, greatest bass player ever lived.

I know Zak Starkey, he plays the drums with the who now, he is also Ringo Starr's son. He also plays with Oasis, he is very good and talented on drums.

I remember when he first started to preform with the who some critics were constantly praising him for being so energetic on the drums and also bringing a new spirit and power, unlike the other drummers they had over the years since Keith has passed.

I know, I remember perfectly well when I knew he had died, it was a shock for me. And Zak is a very talented drummer, I think the best nowadays, in the tradition of Keith and Ginger Baker.

I've been lucky, I've seen them live and believe me, they're the ones to follow, really energetic show, actually unforgettable, especially since I had no idea who they were before the gig started.

Very original logo, isn't it?? :naughty:

Simon's voice resembles Pete's voice so much. i know they are brothers but still

Yep, the logo is gorgeous, isn't it?:naughty: And Simon resembles his brother in many things, also in the way he plays the guitar.

I've heard that John Entwistle always just smashed his bass a little, not enough to totally break it and then he took it home, but they did get him a new one for every gig, so after a couple of years he had a house full of slightly damaged basses :naughty:

Hehehehehehe, I had heard that too, and you can see him sort of "pretending" he's smashing his bass in almost all the vids :roftl: I imagine how was his house: rooms and rooms full of slightly broken basses :roftl:

Oh man, that reminds me the video of "Success Story" on "The kids are alright" dvd, him going thorugh his house and everywhere you look there are guitars hanging on the staircases barrier, then he take the records that are also being hung on the wall and goes to his backyard to shoot them up.

A classic!! I always enjoyed the part when he shoots his golden records, what a character he was...

And this is just brilliant, my favorite tune from "A quick one"

Pete with the boiler suite looked like this one long string LOL.

Roger was gorgeous back then with those curls and long hair, he still looks very good for his age.

I think the only one who had normal cloths was Keith, which was weird. :naughty:
