London Accomodation - Non-gig related

Recommended Posts

Okay so purely because you guys are nuts and travel to weird and wonderful places for your mika fix; Does anyone know of any cheap ( and i mean small budge cheap) hotels, guest houses or b&bs in the victoria/pimlico area of london where one might find a twin room on the 11th sept?

So far i seem to be finding them costing around £70-£200. Any cheaper would be better as this trip is breaking the bank as it is.

Ta.

Travel lodges are good value, I'm not sure if there are any near Victoria but they have them in convent gardens, kings cross, and loads more places in London, just search on their site and if you book well in advance you can pick up a double or twin room sometimes for under 20 pounds and sometimes 30 pounds, they have offers on now and then. They are clean and great value.

I stayed in Victoria last December at a small b&b place called The Grapevine hotel.

It's fairly reasonable in price (for hotels in London) it's clean and very basic, in a very good location few minutes walk from Victoria station. I've stayed there for 3 days with a friend and we liked it.

Hope that info helps.:thumb_yello:

Thats brilliant! Thank you.

Finding a b&b in central london that is cheap but not 'pokey' is extremely difficult - your a star

You are most welcome, been there twice and it took me hours and hours of searching till i found something in a brilliant location that doesnt cost a fortune. :thumb_yello:

Tell me about it!

You can also search for hotels in a website called www.booking.com, it's pretty informative and you can always google the hotel name you find there.

Another good site is tripadvisor, gives you info and members reviews on hotels (although those reviewers tend to complain on the most idiotic things...:naughty:).

There are fewmore sites that can help with lists of b&b in london: http://www.bedandbreakfasts.co.uk/uk-london.asp

I'm looking for some accommodation advice and maybe you can help me out here: I'm planning a trip to the UK on July as I'll be staying in London :) I'm traveling on a budget so I'm looking for a nice and cheap B&B in London, any advice on that matter? I've found tons of options at http://www.clickbed.com/london-b-and-b-3-3.html but maybe you have better options for me. Thanks a lot! :thumb_yello:
