Sarah_loves_mika
The Grand National 2008 is today! 5th April 2008. (I just thought i'd use last year's thread instead of making a new one - save space!) I dont know if anybody here is interested in horse racing - though apparently 600million people tune into the Grand National each year! It's quite a tradition for my family - we always get together to watch it. Who are you backing this year? Cloudy Lane is said to be the favourite - Donald McCain is the trainer, his father is Ginger McCain who has had 4 Grand National victories, 3 with Red Rum. I've also been told that Snowy Morning, Chelsea Harbour and Hedgehunter (2005's winner) are one's to watch too.
