I know I get annoyed when people ask me that about my country look i think it's a great idea but going there alone wouldn't be very wise of you ! you'd better go with a lebanese friend if you have one just in case something happens because politically spoken...the country sucks:thumbdown: but otherwise you can really have fun eat good food and go to interesting places. I know I get annoyed when people ask me that about my country to be honest, to go there right now wont be a good idea. but if you wait till the end of the year or summer 2009, hoping everything will be ok at that moment, i think you'll have the time of your life:thumb_yello: there's so many beautiful places to visit, you can get an idea on the lebanese ministary of tourism: you've got the archeologic sites (Byblos, Tyr, Baalbeck, Batroun...) historic sites (Beit eddine, Asr Moussa= Moussa's castle..) el Arz (Cedars), religious sites like wédé anoubin, all the lovely little villages, the north for the beachs, beirut and its mountains for the night life, restaurants, night clubs.... waw i still remember all this...that was a really really short sum up!!
