Hello oldlings! What a gorgeous day!!!!!!!!! We've had rain, hail, snow, sleet, but mainly sunshine today and it's been fantastic!!!! I was able to get quite a bit of gardening done in between the showers, which was way better than I expected.

I've just realised how tired I am. It's crept up on me tonight because I was too busy on here to notice, but now I'm feeling it, so Night night oldlings Sweet Dreams:mf_lustslow: MM x

Hi to everyone who's just arrived and those who were already here, but I didn't realise -sorry! My plans for the weekend are: Tomorrow -Having coffee with an elderly friend who's lonely, gardening if the weather's nice enough (a big if!), taking my kids to a birthday party, doing the food shopping and Sunday is free at the moment, but will be spent with my family either indoors or out, again, depending on the weather.

.............and I'm not even drinking tonight!

Hi Robi! I don't know what to say about your son. It must be that dreadful phase that all teenagers go through of hating the way that they look. Obviously, he's gorgeous, but you'll have a tough job persuading him to believe that. Maybe there are a few people who don't like him, it must be very rare in school to be liked by everybody, but he should try and concentrate on his true friends. They are the ones who know him best, so they're opinion is based on knowledge not on anything as shallow as appearance. Telling him it's just a phase would probably make him feel worse, but in reality, it's the truth. I wish that I had the solution!

I love my kids, my husband and my job (in that order!), but I can't help being a teensy bit jealous about the fact that you can do what you like when you like and are free to be on here so much!

Yeh, it's pretty much guaranteed that if you only stay in the oldlings you won't come across the bitching and moaning that have crept into some of the other threads. Real life is enough stress, I don't want to come looking for it in my free time! I think that some people like agro, but I'm a complete pacific, so it's the oldlings for me every time.

OMG Charlotte, you've nearly caught up with me and it's taken me ages to get this far. You are a top class oldling!

I guess that 9pm must be the optimum time for the biggest turnout of oldlings. I'm a bit scared to venture into the other threads, so I'll stay here with the rest of you where it's nice and cosy!

Hellooooooooooo oldlings! It's Friday night and I've made it here at last. I haven't been on properly for ages. My daughter keeps trying to get on here from my Bookmarks list, so sometimes it shows that I'm here for a couple of minutes not doing anything before I realise what she's up do and kick her off! Thanks to the people who sent me lovely emails when I explained why I've been too busy to be on much lately. (you know who you are:wink2: ) I see that that we're nearly, almost, not quite, just a moment way from being official. Surely they'll put us out of our misery soon!

Yeh, too long Carri. I would like to believe that I've been out having an exciting time in the real world, but I've been working and doing DIY etc. I did intend to come on here on Friday night but I had a couple of drinks and reached the not-being-able-type stage a bit quicker than expected!
