  1. dont worry i will be without a ticket too unless i need to pay for them :(

whats the plans for queuing on sunday anyway .... anyone have a start time ? dont want to be starting too early since im bringing my boy andrew with me, dinnie think he`d be up for being on his feet from early doors plus in the cold for so long.

We'll be doing the 250mile drive up on the day so I hope it's not going to start too early!!!

  2. Public or unlisted?

Don't expect prompt from TM. We heard the day before we flew.

I imagine there will be a huge number for the UK dates. They let 10 of us do it in Munich even on a tiny stage, but there must be a limit, even if it's just the costumes.

I've seen up to 12 for some of the gigs so fingers crossed.......

    Public Ruth, just under vixenbbw.

I'm worried that there are loads of private vids and that they'll all be better than ours!

    Rose, what's your Youtube name?

  4. Good luck to you two! :thumb_yello: which songs are you singing? i guess i'll try my luck for manchester as well, since i still don't have a ticket yet. :teehee: - i won't record a new video, but just send in the one again that i've made for the european gigs. either they don't have enough people for the choir, then it doesn't really matter whether i send in this video or another one, and i'll be happy to be in the choir. or they have enough applications, then i'll be just as happy to buy a ticket and watch the show. :wink2:

I'm doing LYWID and my boy is doing Stardust (so far!!:naughty:)

Good Luck to you for round two....with your lucky video!

Rose, have you done yours yet?

  5. No lol ... cos' I did my video for London while he was still touring Europe and now I have to wait even longer to find out whether I'm in the choir ... I thought I'd find out today ... now I probably have to wait till Saturday ... :aah: Piffle :wink2:

I know....the suspense is a killer. I'm reading about what time people are getting to the venue and about the tinsel thinking 'I don't want to be doing that....I want to be arriving for rehearsals!!' The feeling is soooooo weird!!

Oh well, if not picked can get into the ETA and tinsel v.quickly!!

    Good Luck Laurel :thumb_yello:

  6. Is anyone else relieved that TM extended the deadline for the audition vids?!! :thumb_yello:

Was up til 2.45am this morning with my toyboy trying to record his in one take! Bless him, he's a musician so doesn't listen to the words, just the music....it's proving a bit of a task for him now though!

I've given him homework to learn the words by Saturday morning....then I'll film him. :naughty:

  7. I've been tweeting R1 for months, but I can't keep doing it, mostly, on my own. I've said on here that foreign fans could RT the tweets to R1 if they see any. The UK fans should be tweeting them themselves.

Candy is rubbish! I used to like RW back-in-the-day, about the time of the mileniuuuuuuuum, but I'm not so struck on him now.

I know R1 didn't play Robbie's song, but other radio stations must have. I know R2 played Celebrate, but maybe not often enough.

I know people say Origin and Uw are not strong songs, but trust me, they're way better than other things on the radio right now and deserve to be played.

People are talking about Stardust as a single. I think Overrated would be better. It kicks ass and would grab the young peoples' attention. My son loves it and he's not a Mika fan.

    Marilyn,

I keep thinking about this post and I think you're right. It needs a very edgy and slick video to go with it but it could really do the trick.

I was one of the whingers going on about the 'other' Overrated and critizied him for touching an 'untouchable' song (it's always been my fave Mika song) but I now really love it so am whinging no longer! :naughty:

If only someone, somewhere, would listen to us.....sigh.

  8. Don't know if anyone has planned anything for this show yet, but to offset some of what was planned for London, I thought maybe we could use the tinsel at this show instead. Perhaps during Underwater, Popular or Celebrate?

    What does everyone think?

    I'm always up for a theme!! :thumb_yello:

The problem is that those of us who apply and get picked for the choir won't really be able to participate so it depends on that.

Tinsel's easy to buy last minute though if that ends up being the chosen theme.

  9. thank you! :thumb_yello: seems to be open for anyone, since there's a field for "country"? :dunno:

any of you guys applying for the choir in manchester? i might give it a try, at least if i don't win any of the ticket competitions... :teehee: since they explicitly wrote on fb that you can apply even if you've already been in the choir... it's that old story again, fab experience (being in the choir and rehearsing with mika) vs. fab experience (watching the gig in a small venue with a bouncy floor :teehee:). in any case if i apply i'd write in the mail that they shouldn't choose me for the choir if they have enough applications from UK folks. tho i guess/hope they'd do that anyway. well, that's one reason why i'm asking here - if 10 of you already want to apply for the choir, i won't do it, as either would be fine for me, being in the choir or watching the gig. :wink2: and those who live in the uk of course should have their chance too! :thumb_yello:

    Hi Mellody,

Me and my toyboy are! :thumb_yello:

Although if he gets picked and I don't.....they'll be tears! :naughty:

  10. :yay: No queueing for us then ... we can bring our sleeping-bags and settle in the same theatre for 2 weeks.

Mika ... can you provide catering for us? :naughty:

Could you imagine if we all bought tickets to the whole two week run....just how confused would he be looking out each night??! :aah::aah::aah:
