hmm... it is sorta pointless to talk about sexuality, seeing as that convo would go nowhere. BUT, i guess the problem is ppl's reactions to questions abt that (some get really worked up abt it!) there's a tad bit of hostility and a sense of "taboo" put across in some ppl's answers...sorta like, "don't even GO there, girlfriend!" people can say what they want without the hostility-- others will still get the message. and that's true for ANY topic talked about, not just this. altho this is the only time that such problems come up! after all, we all have an awesome time talking to everyone else anyway.

you know an artist's got an all-rounded style when you remember them not just for all their tunes, but for all their lyrics, too.

here in america, i've heard enough ppl say the f word on a continuous basis.... so i guess i'm shock-proofed now. haha

i don't think the lines were meant to be condescending- he just said what was on his mind, and that's how the thoughts turned out, i guess!

aw- sad and cute at the same time. well, lemme see...if she's talking to you, and you're listening to mika, then there's prolly the chance that mika is indirectly lifting her spirits. good luck to her!

i just made this random observation....sometimes, when mika makes a mistake at a live performance (going off pitch or breaking his voice), he looks up and makes a very interesting face! haha.... how can you NOT love mika.

ahaha... if mika actually came across this, i'm not sure if he'd be flattered or disturbed! i would ask him what it was like living in his family. i'd wanna know: how did his siblings and parents influence him? and then, i'd give him a BIG kiss on the cheek and run away into oblivion!

come to think of it, he DID remind me of the scissor sisters at one point. hm...

gosh, i love it cause it makes me feel warm inside. i just broke up with my bf a while ago (i KNOW- just before Vday :[ ) but listening to LifeInCartoonMotion just made me feel so much better. Especially Lollipop! What about you guys? What makes you like Mika?

i had planned to: RUN! (haven't jogged in a while...would rather dance to Lollipop!) done schoolwork slept (spent hours of valuable sleeping time listening to Mika on the comp) mourn a recent break-up (but how sad can you get on this wonderful site?) i guess being on this site and listening to Mika's music has really switched up my schedule!

weird, i had something like that when i was really young (about 8 or 9). I ALWAYS had to walk on the left side of the sidewalk when coming home from school and got really ticked off for the rest of the day if i stepped on even 1 pavement crack. i also felt really uncomfortable if the lining in my socks wasn't exactly aligned with the tips of my feet. weird, huh? what's even stranger is that the thing eventually wore off. don't think it was actual OCD, though.

heyy there! came across Mika's vid on youtube.com a while ago, and i fell in love with his music. He's seriously the first artist who i REALLY like- he has great songs, attitude, personality, creativeness....awesome stuff! it's great to finally join the club. much love!

great review- really interesting description for those who don't know abt him yet. ps: why is it that everyone doesn't just "like" Mika, but has to fall in love with his music?! the same thing happened with me...i don't just like his songs; i LOVE them. haha
