Hi all, just popping on now as I won't be on later at all - trying to avoid possible divorce....

 

I'm hoping we can get nice brushed cotton tartan material, so we won't need lining - also, lining! difficult!

 

Leezy, still never really arranged t-shirt night. What about Sunday night? Or, Stephen's away next weekend, but that might be leaving it a bit late. Could do that Saturday night. Or, next Tuesday night? This week is a bit of a nightmare. Also, we have our girls drinking night on Friday night - that makes it sound worse than it is!

No, I don't have badges..........the day that I tried to order them something went wrong on the payment page. Would love to take two off your hands....add them onto my final bill!

I tried to order them twice and had problems, think I have managed it on the 3rd attempt! They don't make it easy to purchase do they!

If a fantastic enquiry came in, then it would be daft not to take it, but that is unlikely. I could just rent it out for the Friday/Saturday night. At the moment have not had any enquiries so it's not an issue and won't be!

Leezy/GITB...................what about the t shirts............and the money. Do you want me to send some money before I go away or will we just sort it all when we all get together on 6th?

We will sort out money on the 6th! If we get out finger out, we might even have them back by the 6th! Will try for a get together with GITB tomorrow night after my college! We REALLY need to get it done before it's too late!

Do you have a fan club badge already??? I have ordered a pack which has 5 in it, one for me & GITB, so I will have a couple of spares if you need it!

Well, I broke the happy news to Dave! I chose my words (and my moment) very carefully and it actually went much better than expected! He even expressed his opinion on the great length of leg debate!

 

I am fine for coming over on 6th...........that is great news Wendi that you will be able to join us too, I am SO excited!

 

Unfortunately Sheena (scg) won't be able to join us.

 

Is it ok if my daughter Abby also comes? She is not bad at sewing and is also coming to the gig with us.

 

Is alcohol going to be involved at all on the Sunday? I only ask (apart from the fact that I will of course bring some if the answer is yes) but it will depend on which car I bring as Ab is not insured to drive mine and she will need to drive home (tee hee!) she doesn't drink.

 

I am looking forward to my holiday but I am SO going to miss this! I think I might have to give GITB/Leezy my mobile number and ask for a text update on the fabric/pattern etc! Don't forget we will need thread and depending how many sewing machines we are going to use on the day we will need a spool of thread for each one.

Listen, If I keep the B&B free, you guys can stay over if you wanted, Wendi too! I only have 2 double bedrooms, but I can stick a blow up bed or futon in the lounge area! Let me know if you want to stay asap so I can cross it out of my diary.

I wish WISH I hadn't told my husband about the trousers. It just sort of blurted out, but it's got to the stage now if I mention the m word, he takes off his glasses and just looks at me.

 

I guess if he was like this about Pamela Anderson or someone and was sitting with Chris (Leezy's husband) with their sewing machines, making a tartan bra for her - I'd definitely be hacked off!!

Anyway, if kath's going away, she'll probably be glad of us getting the actual material, also Rejects will have loads of trouser patterns. When can you go? I'm supposed to be in Glasgow on Saturday, but just found out I can't get car, so I'll either be training it on Saturday, or meeting my friends on Sunday instead. Have texted them (because obviously it would be outrageous to phone and speak to them!) and waiting to hear back.

 

What I'm saying is, I can go this weekend, but don't know yet if I can go Sat or Sun!

If it would only take a couple of hours, I could manage on Saturday morning, failing that, Sunday after lunch would be good!

Can deffo not make the Monday, as I will have to ask for Tuesday off for in service day. I'd quite like to be material-getter with leezy, as I LOVE Rejects with a passion! Colour - gotta be red??!

1) A defo date, either 6th or 7th May me-thinks. Kath, Wendi, GITB, me (perhaps scg - not heard from her), between the 4 or 5 of us, we could crack it in a day and we will all have helped with it!

2) Who are where to get the material (happy to go with GITB to Kirkcaldy)

3) The colour

Don't know if this is a really dumb idea or not (probably), but we could sew on our clan patches to the trousers. That way, if anyone else round the world with Scottish connection, they can have their clan added. In a way I like the idea, but in another I think it's a bit crap. So not offended if it's bumped!

I am not sure if I will be on at 9pm (depends on what is happening at home!)

I am happy to have the tartan meet here on either 6th or 7th May. There will be at least 4 of us, so between us, surely we can rattle up a pair of trousers.

Kath, while you are away, I would be happy to go with GITB to Kirkcaldy (Rejects?) to get the material.
