  1. I just googled him and kingdom FM, how young does he look! I feel ancient! Yikes. He did mention Mika in the little interview bit with him!
  2. Nope, don't know him, interesting surname though! Where is that from?
  3. You did have me going for a second there!
  4. Thank you Freddie! Go cast your new vote on the Fan Club Get Together Update thread! Go Newcastle!
  5. It has been on, but I used to listen to Real Radio in the car (until Mika, that is), now only ever LICM on! Who is your friend???
  6. Does anyone know????? Tantastic are you still about?
  7. Tantastic, who is that on your avatar? (Sorry for being dumb!)
  8. PLEASE CHECK OUT "FAN CLUB GET TOGETHER UPDATE"! STEPH, FREDDIE, ONCE WE GET THE LOCATION SORTED, WE'LL HAVE A CHAT ABOUT ORGANISING THE EVENT! CHEERS! LEEZYBEEZY:thumb_yello:
  9. When are you off on you holidays? Right, will sort this with girlintheblue in the next few days for sure. We would need to know if you want, skinny rib t shirt, baggy t shirt, (if so, what size, small, medium, large etc) or spaghetti strap top. Whatever you choose, we need to know what size to order. Plus, it is gonna cost around £22 quid-ish. (Alot for a tee-shirt, but we are daft enough!) The design, which we already have is a Lollipop on the front, with our names under it (if that's possible, still trying to work that one out). The back is gonna have in red letters "Hey, what's the bid idea?"
  10. Thanks Freddie & Steph, I am an organizeaholic, ask girlintheblue, can't help myself! Steph, you are on my wavelength totally with this. I would love for us to stay in the same place and have a private function room, but I've already said all this and don't want to sound repetitive. Will feed my kids and come back to this.
  11. Yeh, ended up being one of the best things they could have done! Well upped their profile! I chickened out of going to see U2 on their 2005 tour. I bought tickets with a good friend, some corporate thing, cost £140, then the day of the concert, was taking a mega panic attack about being crushed on a pitch, so my husband took my place! Daft things that go through your mind when you have 2 young kids, was sure I was gonna die. Ended up, they were REALLY close to the stage in an enclosed bit with LOADS of space! I got about 10 phone calls that night letting me hear them, er, not quite the same thing! Not the right place to be talking U2 I guess, but I have to mention "So Cruel" from Actung Baby, I love that song! One of my favourite U2 songs! *and you need her like a drug*, love it love it love it!
  12. Totally agree. I was a 14 year old and was glued to the screen when live aid was on! Cried when Queen played Radio Ga Ga. What an emotional day. Queen WERE live aid, totally stole the show! Also cried when Bono got the girl up to dance on the stage, but that was more cause it should have been me!
  13. I would have been too! *puts chin in hand and sighs loudly!*
  14. I looooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddd watching this Radio Ga Ga! My happiest memory of Queen was this concert!
  15. Absolutely Steph, I want as many people as possible to come! I would even have room in the car for 1 or 2 people, depending on where it is. Would drive to Newcastle. Could even pick anyone up at Edinburgh Airport if they could get a cheap flight here.
  16. Cheers Freddie, was hoping someone would agree that was the way ahead. Just need to check out how to do another poll! (don't stand a chance with technology, burd, blonde and oldling!)
  17. Hello all, have been a bit busy, school holidays so no pottering around on the computer all day! Have seen the results! Mixed feelings. Whilst I know I could make it down to Brighton, it seems most of the people who voted for Newcastle could not make it to Brighton. So a couple of options 1) We do another poll (just for 48 hours), with Newcastle and Brighton being the options. 2) We have 2 venues (in which case we would still need a poll to find out how many would be going to each venue) It would be great if we could just have the one venue and get as many of us together as possible, make it all the more special and get to meet lots of other Mika fans, (plus Mika can only be in one place at a time, and I bags him first!!! ) Will check something out and get back to you asap!
  18. Yeh but you can come with your mum, have a girls weekend in Newcastle. When my wee girl grows up, I want to do things like that with her, so come to Newcastle! Yeh:wink2:
  19. Don't think our tickets have arrived yet. Usually don't get them till about 2 to 3 weeks before the gigs! I'm sure yours are fine Kath, don't worry babes!
  20. Mika has to come to our one, it was my idea, and I might have a huge strop otherwise!!!!!
  21. Kath, we have a trump card though! We have Freddie and he will be a pull for some who could do either venue!!!!!! Freddie you are defo going to the Newcastle venue!
  22. Going on some comments, it will probably end up being 2 different venues, which is such a shame cause I really wanted as many people as possible to come. Edinburgh would be too far for the people down South, Brighton is too far for the people up North. We should have all voted for somewhere in the middle to get maximum numbers. You never know, even though people have voted Brighton, they may still wish to join the Northern division in Newcastle for the best Mika Fan Club get together ever!
  23. Go to the Search bit at the top right, and type, post of the day thread. That's how I found it!
