That's exactly the problem, Mika isn't appealing to people outside his core fans. And let's be honest there hasn't been much promotion/performances of Rain for it to be top 40 And Radio play helps to back up with the promotion and it just hasn't happened for him. I wish he didn't do the US tour straight after promoting WAG here. He should have concentrated hard in making himself MORE relevant in the UK and expose people to his new album. Having just one or two weeks of promotion and then shooting off isn't going to help promotion wise because frankly Mika isn't a big of an artist for his music just to do the talking... as we've seen with how Rain is doing atm. -
Me too... i'm just baffled by this. Update - He isn't going to enter top 40. Also he isn't even on itunes top 100. If Rain didn't do well..[the best song on the album -commercially imo] then how will it go for the other songs? I definitely think Touches you should be next single tho.

The single isn't even top 40 [in midweeks] hence why the delay in position to find out where it is. Rain needs to be promoted more... I'm not sure what needs to be done now to push the album?

Hear hear. I'm the same. Let's just say i wouldn't have chosen WAG as the first single... Promotion is key aswell... A viral fan made lipdub video of rain would be awesome... it gets people more into the song..example...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zcOFN_VBVo Rain is released close to a month's time but yet haven't seen the video once yet.

On the UK album midweeks, Mika is not in the top 40 anymore... Rain promotion needs to kick in asap.

Thanks for the info. And i agree, although i don't think robbie's single is playing a factor. If rain comes out in the next month, it wouldn't clash with Bodies. The BIOTG video debut kinda confused, so glad that is rain is the official 2nd single here. Hope the video for that drops soon and released/promoted asap. It would propel more people to purchase the album.

WAG is now out of the Top 40 and the album is tanking...come on UK fix up!! Has anyone seen BIOG video on any music channels yet? I haven't

Whoever said that it took WAG too long to be released on sale is spot on, imo. The momentum of the song was kinda dying down when it was officially released.

i have been kinda lagging with the chart news. Atm in UK midweeks, The album is still top 15, whereas WAG is just still in the Top 30.

Seeing as the video BIOTG has been released i think you're right. For the Uk it seems it will be the 2nd single.
