  1. If Beatles fans all bought the same album, Beatle's would be number 1. Also the album was released mid week which didn't help it.
  2. Yes they are Album sales have always been low compared to single sales lately. It doesn't take more than 40k to get to No.1 in the UK Albums. Also lack of competition helps ala this week with Vera
  3. Something that is interesting is the Album sales in the UK. The No.1 Album this week sold less copies than Mika's single WAG. So i can't wait to see how the Album peaks, if the same people who bought the single and hopefully more....buy the album aswell. ALBUMS Top 10 32826 Vera Lynn 27806 Jamie T 19282 David Guetta 18736 Arctic Monkeys 17830 Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 16507 Beatles - Abbey Road (6) 15955 Kings of Leon (7) 14823 Cribs (8) 14568 Beatles - Revolver (9) 13203 Beatles - Rubber Soul (10)
  4. Next week the chart battle will still be between the top 5 as there is no new competition to fight off. If he stays Top 5 next week i'll be happy. He was close to 10,000 behind Jay Z this week...
  5. Some stats from the chart today: Sales figures - TOP 10 singles. SINGLES 49623 Pixie Lott 48593 David Guetta / Akon 44344 Jay-Z / Rihanna / Kanye West 34363 Mika 32649 Black Eyed Peas 31791 Dizzee Rascal / Chrome (6) 29103 Mini Viva (7) 27508 Sugababes (8) 24390 Muse (9) 19538 Little Boots (10)
  6. WOW he is getting crazy promo in the USA, Ellen, Letterman and Good Morning America. Major exposure. Go Kick ass!
  7. Oh noo, i hope you don't wait that long The UK it is released 21st Sept http://www.mikasounds.com/news/view/613/The_Boy_Who_Knew_Too_Much
  8. I hope aswell, keep everything crossed. TBWKTM is released on 21st September. Hope to see adverts for this soon, it needs promo little over a week left. I loved the 4music session he did that was good.
  9. Download was last week, physical this week. Mika released both 1 day apart this week.[sunday/Monday].
  10. I think because this is the first week of release for WAG, next week chart is still worth looking out for, it could peak higher. I think this week WAG, may not peak any higher. Next week, is another chance. 2nd weeks sales are usually better and Pixie/ Jay Z sales will decrease, whereas Mika's will still improve.
  11. It's still No.4 guys. Top 4 are all unchanged. Thursday Update Singles 1 Pixie Lott 2 David Guetta/Akon 3 Jay-Z/Rihanna/Kanye West 4 Mika 5 Black Eyed Peas
  12. WAG is still No.4 in the Midweeks - Wednesday. Let's see if it moves up tomorrow!
  13. You always quote me just before i finish editing my fault tho:teehee: And we should keep the faith
  14. It's abit premature to write off WAG, remember it is only top 4 from sales counted between Sunday and Monday. We still have the rest of the week and so we don't know where WAG will finish or even Pixie lott. Jay Z could still be no.1 as the digital sales have not been counted yet. Also this is the first week of release for WAG, there is still next week for it to peak higher, which i think it will.
  15. This is really good for Mika, he is already top 4 in the official charts but the sales are only from sunday till Monday. So we have until the end of the week [sunday], where he can peak even higher There will be more info on how much he is selling later in the day or by tomorrow when the Wednesday position is posted
  16. UK Midweeks -Tuesday position. Top 40 Only Singles 1 Pixie Lott 2 David Guetta/Akon 3 Jay-Z/Rihanna/Kanye West 4 Mika 5 Black Eyed Peas Top 10 Mini Viva Muse Top 20 U2 Temper Trap Top 30 Jason Mraz I'm Yours Bananarama Top 40 Jennifer Hudson
  17. This is awesome. Number 4 only after a day and a half. If the physical sales are high, top 5 debut could happen!!
  18. WAG has a higher popularity bar than the 5th single [Holiday -Dizzie] on the chart so it's a matter of time now before it overtakes it.
  19. WAG was released today on downloads, and it's already Number 7 on ITUNES:yay:
  20. I think we'll see when it's officially released which is next week on downloads. If it's high in itunes it will make a high debut first week on the official chart and if he backs it up promo plus with the physical sales plus download, WAG could go to No.1 the week after.
  21. No he is No.95 atm:) in Itunes USA http://www.doipod.com/itunes-chart/top-100-itunes-songs-usa.html
