I'm a muppet. I can't change my holiday dates, as I have a commitment on the 4th December (Bjorn Again:punk:!!) so if I go Tue-Tue, I'll miss it.... Never mind, I'll have to experience the party vicariously through all your reports and pictures....I'm sure once it's all in full swing, you won't even notice that I'm not there....

I've not done any work for the last hour and a half.... Thanks for the hints - I'm up to level 15 and really should go home now. How do I get back to where I got to tomorrow??

I did think about asking him if he wanted to go too....after all, he's been to a few gigs, has met a few MFCers and listens to LICM a lot (admittedly it's not through choice....)....heck, he's practically one of us!!! Right - off to look at holidays....

A lovely idea, guys, but I am not around that weekend at all. It's right in the middle of our winter pilgrimage to get some sunshine in the Canaries. Mind you...nothing's actually booked yet...hmmmm....I wonder if Tuesday - Tuesday the following week would be cheaper than Thursday - Thursday... Just off to investigate!!

Thanks for starting the thread, Babs. It would be great for an unsigned artist to hit the Top40 as a result of 'word of mouth' publicity. I've seen her a couple of times too, and if she wasn't so lovely, you would hate her!!

I agree, Sari. There are good transport links from all into London, and flights to these airports are usually cheaper than to Heathrow. I suppose it's down to getting the right combination of flight costs and onward travel costs.... Has a date been agreed yet? I know that the 29th - 30th November seems to be popping up a lot, and it has the highest number of responses on the poll.... I'm clutching at straws now as I really want to go, but can't do that weekend, but I was wondering whether those that have voted for this weekend could do any other weekend, if so, have they indicated this on the poll?? If everyone votes for all the weekends they can do, there may just be a teeny weeny chance that there will be a different weekend that gets the majority and I can go .....call me selfish if you like, but I WANT TO GO and will throw a tantrum if I can't and no-one will want to see that!!
