I just want to echo what Deb said. It was a great evening and we all had a great laugh. Just found out about this thread!! I'm free either Saturday or tomorrow. If it's tomorrow, I will have to meet you guys after work, so might not be around until 7.30 - 8.00 ish.... Hope to see you again soon, Deb and meet you for the first time ST. London on a Friday night in the summer will be VERY busy wherever we go. If I can think of anywhere, I'll let you know! :flowers2:Well, I’m back after a rather unsettling return flight on Sunday evening. We went through a thunderstorm north of Madrid and there was some quite bad turbulence. I’m not the best flier and this was the first time I had flown on my own all I can say is that the lady next to me was very understanding and calmed me down The weekend was fab, even though I had the grand total of 10 hours sleep in 3 days!! I don’t think there’s much more I can add that hasn’t already been said – MBV were shockingly bad – they even made Hercules and the Love Affair from Amsterdam look good!! I wasn’t really impressed with the other bands either, TBH. It was worth suffering the pain at 3.15 when Mika bounded on stage looking mighty gorgeous in his red t-shirt Big thanks to FD for arranging the M&G and ensuring that everyone got in. There were one or two hiccups, but I’m sure Jems’ ribs will soon recover It was great to see some old friends – Jems, Babs, Sariflor you were great company as usual and to meet some other MFCers that I hadn’t met before – you are all lovely!! Mirti and Ana as BGs on stage was a joy to watch. They looked thrilled to bits to be up there and appeared to be loving every minute of it. I was chuffed to bits for them…. Thanks to everyone that has posted pictures – they’re great Hopefully I’ll go back to Madrid one day and see a bit more of it than just the airport, hotel and venue Sx

LOL - watch them run screaming towards the peace and quiet of Mikasounds!!!
