  1. Thank you Dean, as always. It is a great idea. I hope everyone writes letters because they care. I believe the management has an open-door policy, and that they are willing to listen to fans' voices. I think that the second show in NYC is a response from Mika. He and the management are not ignoring the complains, but they are listening, I think. So even if the show was in NYC, I do appreciate they cared for us, fans. We know how much Mika cares for us! We Japanese are not so far affected by cancellation, however, we have been voicing concerns about overbooking issue. We feel really sorry for people who missed his concerts due to cancellations, or due to limited number of tickets available. Of course we were very, very concerned about his health issue too, and were surprised because there was little communication from the management regarding cancellation/his health condition. Timely communication from the management/PR (ex. in his HP/myspace) could have cleared confusion much more effectively and quickly, I believe. I would like to suggest the management to create a team such as, Fans Relations - like investor relations, you know. That way they can directly communicate with us, and get direct feedback from fans. We do not need info manipulated by media, but accurate info from them. (Regarding foreign language issue, we can elect a representative from each country within MFC, and translate the message from Fans Relations at each thread. How about that?) We all wish Mika to have a long, successful career. I understand challenges and difficulties he faces - all happened so quickly, in such a global scale. His management team is a very experienced, professional group of people, who have been in the business for a long time. They should know how to manage artist's career, and give him advice if necessary, I suppose. Fans trust you, guys. Anakinglobewalker (Japan)
  2. GREAT:thumb_yello: Thanks for the beautiful photos! I am sooooooooooo happy for everyone there!!! He must have been energized by love from everyone! So how is his heath condition? Did anyone have a chat with him/the band/his manager? Just a few more gigs in August, right? I travel frequently on business, in and out of Japan, sometimes traveling 2-3 cities/countries in a day. I can imagine how hard it has been for him. I truly admire their team effort. I am very very sorry for the people who missed his gig, but I believe they are trying to do the best they can. It must have been so tough (and fun, of course) for him, the band, his family and everyone involved in this new venture. I hope everyone will have a loooong vacation (they may work on the 2nd album though/new video/DVD etc.).
  3. We Love Mika! The Japan's best and the craziest Mika fan club presents; Dr. Mika, MAD SCIENTIST Dr. Mika is working on a special project. TO BE CONT'D.... Artwork by Cue, our member and a well-known illustrator/catoonist/anime figure designer/writer in Japan. Some of us are Rocky Horror Show fans:bleh: We are planning to give him a Mad Scientist Costume Play kit at the next gig in Japan <<<<<<<<< P L S H E L P >>>>>>>>>>>>> I have not figured out how to directly copy a photo to a thread. Appreciate if someone can help. Thanks!

  5. Cazgirl chan! Konnichiwa! Hai, Mika ha, everywhere desu! He said he would be back next year, but looking at the crazy crowd at the gig, I guess the gig will be at much larger concert hall... Blue Sky help us getting the best spot for all of us, ppppplease! Oh Blue sky now Mary is the moderator of WLM. I have retired. I cannot spend much time at Mixi anymore because I work for looooong hours on PC, and my doctor said less time! Oops looks like I will live here...danger! I have got to go!
  6. Howday Blue Sky! Thanks again for everything you did for us at the gig! How could we thank you! <I am sitting through the conference sessions here, gazing at my Mika pics ALL DAY...okashikunatchatta. Byoki mitai...hokano hanashi wa dekinakunachatte sa.... But I am converting all the conference attendees to Mika!! Hahahahahaha! You are surrounded by how many Mika?! Good thing you are not turning them into sausage or something else with an imaginary wand, lol! Pretty much the same at Mixi (ladies FYI Mixi is a social networking service in Japan and we have a fan club there called We Love Mika!). People do not seem to know how to live after he is GONE (sigh. Too short). Mika Mika darling, you are such a naughty boy, making all the girls an boys crazy about you. Tsumi na hito ne! Ikenai ko yo! Blue Sky ga byoki ni nacchatta jya nai! Anata ga Blue Sky wo annmari tsuyoku hug suru kara yo! (I said Blue Sky is gone crazy since Mika hugged her so hard) ! ミカ病よ! I love Melbourne! My favorite destination! I go to Australia once a year to dive at GBR, then down to Sydney & Melbourne for the amazing FOOD. One of the best in the world! I never miss Balmoral beach and the Bather's pavillion (a famous restaurant)!
  7. Oh yes, Jeyjen, when you come to Japan, please let us know! We will be happy to show you around! You have got friends all over the world! POWER of LOVE LOVE MIKA!
  8. Hi Jeyjen-san, The word 'san' is a suffix. It is kinda like Mr./Ms./Mrs. It has phonetically changed from 'sama', a more polite form. It shows respect or affection to the person/animal you mention. In case of a child, pet, brothers/sisters, close family and friends, or someone /something we adore, we usually use 'chan' instead; e.g. Mika chan, Anakin-chan, my little rose chan (my dear little rose tree). By using chan we show affection to that person/animal/things. If I call him Mika sama, it surely would sound silly (lol). He is Mika chan. So, in order of politeness, 1. sama (most polite form; usually we use it for clients/patients, someone you provide services) 2. san (most commonly used/versatile form; you can use this for someone you know/you do not know. But we do not use it when we mention our family, colleagues/bosses to a third-party) 3. chan (used in case of close relationship or someone very young) For Freddie Mercury, I would rather use Freddie sama, lol!
  9. Ha, s & h & i & t turns automatically ****, how funny, lol!
  10. Hi there Minasan konnichi ha! I guess it would be better to write in roma-ji, right? Ok if I mix up English and Japanese? Minasan nihongo ga jozu desu ne! Subara-shii! Muzukashii no ni, ureshii na! Arigato----! Dokode benkyo shima****a ka? ( Wow you guys write Japanese so well, how wonderful! It is a tough language to learn, I am so happy to meet people who took efforts to learn it! Thank you very much! Where did you learn Japanese (inc. Sushi bar, lol!)) Mika ha subarashi katta ne! So****e, minna ga Mika wo ai****e ru yo! Mika was amazing! And everybody at the gig loved his performance. Tokorode, minasan, official Fan Club no sign-up ha shima****a ka? Freddie's thread de sign up shiyo-ne! We do not want to lose MFC. Mata kimasu. See you!
  11. HAHAHAHAHA!This is hillarious! Great job:punk: I am very very sorry for the Canadian fans. It is possible that the management reconsidered the schedule after the Austrian thing. We Japanese fans have been worried about 8/10 too. The schedule looked totally crazy. Four events just a few days after the concerts in super hot and steamy Japan? Are you out of mind? He said he only had two hours looking around in Tokyo. And jet lag. All of them looked exhausted when we met them in Tokyo. We were horrified after learning that there had been multiple cancellations, so checked with the event organizer almost every other day. We also had tonnes of presents for him which took us 2 months. One of our artist buddies suffer depression and she could not come to the gig. I had her message. We desperately hoped he would be okay and come to Japan. It was really, really scary. He is a superstar but a human. But now his life looks like the 'Sweet Dreams', doesn't it? Let's hope he will learn how to manage his life, take some time off soon, get inputs for new ideas, have a long, successful carrer and make everyone happy. Let me tell you Mika looked sooooooooo happy when he was singing with his little sister (oh my. She is gorgeous. No wonder he made the lollipop song, lol. And she's a goood singer). She looked a bit tense, and he was so caring. I was very, very touched. How wonderful to see all the family working together! We all believe that it is worth waiting for. We waited for seven months. There are people waiting for him, the band, and his family all over the world. The world is his stage, right? In the meantime, how about new ideas for more presents?? How about suggesting Universal Canada (is it?) to create fun products for you guys (e.g. Canada-only T-shirt, sitckers, mag cups, accesories for mobile phones, etc.)? You will be busy, lol!
  12. Everyone, thank you soooo much for all of your comments! I am quite tall (I was close to 180cm with shoes on) and you see, most of Japanese girls are short. So I can get good pictures. Re sound quality, I was standing right next to the main speaker. Also Mika's sound tech people did hell of a good job! We picky listeners were very impressed. Thanks! Can someone show me how to attach a large photo directly?? I have tonnes of photos I would like to share with you. Hi Yoshie, YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH we met him! Please come to the 'Japanese Thread' at Chin Wag. We (we have a Japanese fan club called 'We Love Mika!' at Mixi) are going to have a karaoke party in Osaka. We can shing ALL OF MIKA SONGS (SING ALONG) plus watch videos, etc. Our buddy in Osaka will organize it. They are very, very nice and of course they are mad about Mika and his music. One of girls is a musician. Wasn't he sweeeeeeeeeeet?? He must have been exhausted, you know, two gigs in a row. But he came out for us. He was wearing the yukata we made. All of our dreams have realized. We had such a precious moment. How can we ever thank him, his family, his band, and everyone who worked hard to make this gig happen? Wasn't he totally amazing? You know I was standing on the second row, so I could hear his real voice even though I was so close to a huge speaker. It 'hit' me, his every word hit me, right into my heart. Unbelievable. And what an amazing entertainer. Just a perfection. He will come to Japan again next year; if he has more than one gigs I will definitely go all of them!!! Surely it will be harder to get tickets, and we may never be able to see him so close. But we will be happy just to listen and watch him perform.
  13. No one can stop his hype! I donno what happened but he lost one of the sticks when he fell over Cherisse (Poor thing!). He was using only one stick (see photo - I try to attach a large photo. Sorry I don't know how to do that) . Actually the stage is fairly small. Maybe too small for the big guy, lol! BTW, I tried that kimono we made before giving it to him (HA HA HA), believe me it was BIG. I have never, never seen a HUGE kimono like this My husband, who actually saw Mika gig for the first time, was in a total shock to see him JUMPING and HOPPING around the small stage. 'How does he sing SO LOUD and jump around? The guy must have a BIG HEART!' Yes, he has a big heart for everyone:mf_lustslow: Funny thing is...my friend secretly smelled his hair when she met him (you see he is so tall and had to bend over to sign), and surpirisingly he was not stinky at all, she said, ha ha ha.
  14. Yeah, they are Universal Japan staff's work. Actually Mika's Japan web site (within Universal Japan) is frequently updated, they make special blog for summer festivals where you can see bunch of Fuji Rock backstage photos (SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOW ME 'UPLOAD BIG PHOTOS for a dummy') , made fun promotional products like poncho, stickers, Japanese round fan for summer, special video for LICM & bonus track, etc. Robertina, send these photos to Universal Italia and motivate them!
  15. WE MET MIKA:mf_lustslow: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Is this a real life? Is this a fantasy? Am I back on earth or am I still in MikaWonderLand? Mika wearing Yukata (a bathrobe/casual kimono) and emerald green Obi!We almost fainted to look at him wearing yukata! Finally we could hand him so many presents and a huuuuge message book (believe me they are ARTWOKRS!) we prepared for him...it took us for months. Oh, Oh, Oh, we met him in person:mf_lustslow: , asked him if he liked our presents and Yukata. He said, 'OMG! I love, love them! Thank you very very much!!!!'(FAINT) Oh those eyes... I do not remember what he wore, and the rest of the words he said... I was almost in tears. We made our day. our dream has come true:mf_lustslow: Everyone worked so hard for this day. Million thanks to everyone at 'We Love Mika!' fan club and MFC! Here are some videos I took. Enjoy! http://jp.youtube.com/user/anakinglobewalker Liquid was totally packed with about 900 people; who said Japanese are quiet and reserved? No they were not. They were crazzzzzzy! The security guys screamed 'No Photo! No Photo!' Are you nuts? Do you seriously think we are gonna go home without photos and videos? We have got to show all of this to the world! Of course everyone ignored the guy:thumbdown: So you see all the gorgeous photos from Blue Sky and us. We stayed at Liquid until 11 p.m, came home in poring rain (FYI rain stopped while Mika was in Liquid... like Fuji Rock. A Miracle), uploaded videos at You Tube, chatted with everyone until 3 a.m.zzzzzzz Blue Sky, did you pack? More photos follow later.
