  1. I never really LEARNED to sing though. I probably was crap when I was little but because everyone tolld me I was amazing, I kept doing it for them. If you know what Samoan family culture is, you'd understand when I tell you I had no choice BUT to sing :roftl:

I am SO sick of people saying "Oh, you can't dance, I thought being able to sing gave you a good sense of rythm?"

Well yes it does but I'm not all that good at body-eye coordination and have no confidence dancing in a classroom situation...

    Wish me luck :D

Mika taught me to sing high. I kid you not, I learned GK's high notes in about a week and found out he was a soprano so I started singing to Freddie Mercury/Monserrat Caballe sings (which are alto but it trained me to go high and my voice is naturally quite high) and joined the chior as a soprano.

So it doesn't take much to learn to sing I don't think :wink2:

  2. Hahaha there's always my baywatch idea :roftl:

Well, at least you're not working with people who abuse you like a waitress or paper runs that pay little money for lots of work or yucky sweaty, oily kitchens. But I see how it could be boring.

Maybe you could play a game inside your mind of recording how many tricks you see, how many girls, how many boys you see... Something like that usually helps me :wink2:

  3. TIREEEED!

I was up at 9am yesterday though I'm used to getting up around 11:30, then I didn't sleep until nearly 5am this morning, got up at 7:30 to tweet with the MFCers who want Mika in the trending topics list. Then I went to sleep at 9am, then I got back on around 10:30 :roftl:

    How are you doing?

  4. I will. I post most "Work" related stuff on Facebook and Twitter, I don't know if you follow me but I'll VM you. I keep meaning to get into singing lessons but I CAN sing. I just figure why bother? I learned from listening to the singers on the radio like Alanys Morissett and Ciline Dion when I was little. I'm going to take up jazz dance instead seeing as I CAN'T dance for sugar :roftl:

I'm so useless - Which isn't good for someone who wants to do burlesque!

What I know about my country, I wish I didn't :das: Actually, I found it out while searching for something else. It said something about "Burlesque baby" I think. Anyways, what do you want to be when you leave school?

  5. :D I think my drama teacher honestly doesn't know wheather I am a vegetarian or a chikener. I'm apparently creepier than the guy who wanted to have the chicken scene :das:

I worked with some girls on "3 little pigs" for a sound scape assignment where I was the mother pig and the nerdy brother pig. They don't want to work with me any more :roftl:

They think I'm all about bloodthirst and all things horrific. It was my idea that after the wolf got killed via the fire (trying to come down the brick house's chimney), that we ate him :D

That was all I contributed though. They didn't want to have any of my originality. I hate working with people like that. Religeous hypocrits who hate gays and... Well... FUN!

Jerks. We (the chicken-scene team) made them laugh though. You couldn't NOT laugh though they seemed to be disapproving and offended. :das: GOOD

  6. Hahaha you don't WANT to know what I said we should do with the Wizard of oz :arf2:

Ok, I must go now, my back kills me

Keep talking to me, I'll reply you when I get back :huglove:

  7. I worked well with that group because one member, Tom, is all about chicken and innuendo whereas I'm quick to be creepy and raunchy and a bit of a dodgy character but the other 2 keep us in our place. Our teacher kept walking in at the wrong time of our conversations and she heard the most dodgy things but it was all in context so it wasn't really dodgy but she just walked in at all the wrong times :D

  8. In the same show, another group did jack and the beanstalk but instead of jack, it was Mario and his brother Luigi (from "Mario" game) and they had to save Princess Peach from a giant mushroom giant. That was pretty funny too :wink2:

  9. In THAT play, I made everyone scream when I groped my boobs, wore a teeny tiny skirt and rocked back and forth on the stage in the fetal position (I swear I must have flashed someone :blush-anim-cl:) wimpering "I'ma good psychologist, I'm a good psychologist, I'm a good psychologist, I'M A GOOD PSYCHOLOGIIIIIIST!"

  10. It was funny because we worked with different teams for each assignmant so I worked with 3 other people then. But later that year we had to do a fairytale story and I worked with the same 3 people plus one more and we all had this naughty, funny, raunchy reputation to uphold!

We had Hansel and gretel where there were guest appearances by the big bad wolf, a little DEAD riding hood, a telemarketer, a boozer father and an illigitimately born sister, Lezle. The kids, Hansel, Gretel and Lezle end up taking "Magic mushrooms" and see this hilucination of a gingerbread house when it's really just a normal house and start eating it. The story keeps flicking from the actual story to the psychologist's office ;)

  11. I wasn't in the scene, my friend was. I was backstage with her while she screamed "Ketchup, mustard, LEAVE BRITNEY ALOOOOOONE!" and then the guy made loud walrus-esque noises. I was laughing quietly and insanely. Then the guy popped his head out and the boyfriend saw it was his best friend and was like "How could you Harry Dixen-Balls (say aloud but not loudly so you can hear the rude pun) You were my best friend!"

Then he went and got drunk in a bar and I played his best friend's new woman-thing named "Slutty Michelle"

    A fifth form drama :D

  12. :D I worked with a guy in drama class last year and we had a... Chicken scene... And he wanted to have the guy who came in a saw his girlfriend doing it with his best friend, sing "I feel like chicken tonight, like chicken tonight"

It was gross, they made animal noises and referenced the "Leave Britney Alone" video :D

  13. :D That's why I crack up laughing when we mention chicken... Or pork: The OTHER white meat :das:
  14. There are people who do that to me. I'm the kind of person who confronts people like that because I don't want to be upset at a friend when I don't tell them I'm upset. If they don't stop doing it though they know it bothers me, I know they like me apart from the Mika thing and therefore don't accept my whole personality. So I kind of distance myself from them and don't call them friends. I am subject to much rumour and gossip but I'm a person with a big personality and in a smalltown where you're expected to just follow the leader, I don't get on so well :P But that makes me happy because I know I'm not like them and there is only ONE PERSON I'd ever gossip about.

  15. LOL I'm strange in the way that people either hate me and either abuse or avoid me (though it's become more avoid in the last little while) OR they hang onto everything I say and really like me. Everyone knows I'm a Mika fan. But they know a select few things about me and they think they know me. Do you know what I mean?

But there are people lower in the foodchain than me. They're there for a reason though (often mean people or compulsive liars or people who sleep around. You know, sometimes highschool feels like hollywood. Do you ever feel like that?

  16. I dream of being called Sarah Smith or Jane Brown. Something boring and easy to spell. And having pale hair and light eyes and skin. They I'd be like a canvas to create whatever look I want. Sadly, everything about me is like my name, there's just one little thing (like the h in Khayla) that makes everything odd.

But I'm not really unhappy about it or anything. People see me as being charismatic for my weirdness. Are you popular at school?

I got so annoyed at being called Kyla in my first year of highschool that I taped a postit saying "KHAYLA" to my forehead and walked around for a day :D

  17. Hey at least you HAVE a name!

My mother calls me Khayla Burton and that's what's on my school records and certificates but my passport and birth certificate say differently (I'm not going to post it on a public board but the name my mother gave me is common knowledge). I really hate it because not only does everyone cally me Kaylin, caitlin, Mikayla etc but nobody knows how to spell my name and my name before my mother took out my middle name was Khayla Hanan (hi-naaan) Burton and people kept saying HANNAH. Your name is like my dream name :roftl:

  18. Hahahaha I worked out that I was a September baby (my birthday is May 1) so I tease people and tell them I was wanted...

But my friends tease me back saying maybe I was wanted but regreted afterwards :roftl:

  19. :roftl: the walmart thing is hilarious!

Oh, I give anyone who's born around the beginning to middle of Octobre a lot of grief because it's about 9 months since the drunken newyears time that probably lead to their conception :bleh:

  20. I decided that I'd try to prank a friend of mine who is really into videogames. So I'm in talks with one of HIS friends to make him stay over on April fools night and play a scary xbox game called F.E.A.R and then I'm going to secretly stay in another room of his house and sneak into their bedroom while they're in bed scared, dressed up as the creepy girl character Alma and scare my friend and try make him scream :roftl:

Alma looks like Samara from the Ring or the girl off the Grudge

  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NONO!!! :huglove::yay:

  22. No, I've been meaning to record myself but haven't had the nessisary equipment to do so.Though I've had quite a few requests :P

    Do you sing?

I was also wanting to visit London for the fact that they have a burlesque university.

  23. Hey, I just aaw the bit at the end of your reply to me on MFC birthday thread. I live in a small town/city called Kapiti which is just out of Wellington in New Zealand.

I want to be in London because the UK like my music style more than NZ does (I sing)

  24. Haha now I look very closely at your other picture, the avatar and see it says "RUFUS" on it. I wonder, do you get a little shtick for liking him at the same time as Mika like I get for liking Greg Wells?

Ooh speaking of whom, don't you just LOVE Poses?

Some people I know were singing Haleluja and I said "Well you'll never get as good as Rufus Wainwright" and one of them sighed and said NOBODY would ever be so good. Admittedly, I'm pretty sure said person had never HEARD OF rufus, it was still nice to know that I was agreed with :roftl:

  25. Hey, I'm good thanks!

    And you?

I see you're new, just ask fi you have any queeries, I'm never far away :wink2:
