For some reason, people seem to remember that tee and I know Mika likes it (or at least his mom dows ) because he's always wearing it (or he did when he first came out).

Or we can have a set of fixed items that we all share (eg eggs, butter, milk, tea etc) that we have a roster of who buys it (so Charlie this week, Rosina the week after, me the next, then Charlie again...) and we can name the things we have indavidually (or at least not touch each other's stuff if we haven't said the others could) so that you don't end up with curry and cake in the same shelf

I have a few cups that I drink out of and my mother uses several others and my Granddad uses one usually but sometimes uses mine (which is fine as long as he doesn't offer them to people I don't like as I'm a bit anal about who touches certain things).

Hey, my mother just surprised me with a trip to Auckland.

She got back yesterday after leaving on monday and decided to go back tomorrow and take me this time.

Nine hour drive with mother and her boyfriend. Joooooy...

But it'll be worth it to be out of here for a few days!

I tour program is part of the merchandise and usually rainges from $15-20. It contains pictures...the tour dates..and maybe other bits of information too.

Oh cool! That sounds like something I might actually pick up if I can get one before the show maybe.

They did it for an hour between midnight and 1am and it was so funny because things kept getting done wrong and there was no order, they just kept talking all at the same time but it sounded really fun

My mother's trying to keep hold of me as long as possible. She was planning to dump me off here with Granddad (who said NO) and go live with her boyfriend in the city (Auckland or Welington) as you know but I said if I HAVE to move with her and her boyfriend then I wanted to live in a different house that was CLOSE to them because I don't have the mental capability to deal with both of them.

She's a control freak, he always makes fun of me for loving Mika and he's a gay hater.

So of cuorse I feel uncomfortable when he comes and stays in the weekends. They're both nice enough people but living with them would be a bit of a go for me.

She wants me to send in for this competition to get free tix to Australia and another comp for a wardrobe upgrade thing. I told her I'd happily enter for her for the clothing one but I refused to help HER get anywhere that involved travel as I couldn't go to Mika.

Then I played the guilt game because I was sitting in her room staring at the urn on her dresser and she asked me to go into the drawrer and pull out her passport and check when it expires and it expires sometime this year and she was glad. I asked where she was planning to go and she said "Australia" and I got all quiet and got up and said goodnight and walked out and she was like "But (her boyfriend) surprised me! It's not like I could have afforded it myself!"

I think she took heed when she saw that I was still upset about it and that's why she asked if I'd go see lady Gaga with her.

When I saw Rufus last February...he had some merch, but it definitely wasn't a huge amount. I ended up getting a tour program.

What exactly IS a tour programme?

Do you have to pay to have programmes? I know the lady who saw Michael Crawford perform in NZ got one for free (and signed. Lucky thing!)

I don't mind them bribing MFCers to follow them if it does indeed result in them playing Mika. They win, and we win.

Whoever it was we were talking to, seemed friendly enough, and quite keen to chat about stuff.

As Mika will be up around there in Feb, couldn't hurt (and lord knows he needs it right now) to have a little interview with them, if he can fit it in.

And, if even one person happens to be listening to their station, hears a Mika song and then becomes a convert to the Cult of Mika-ism, I think it's totally worth a follow.

I think Parachute tickets just went up to $170 but, you can always get a childs pass for $80 and come in the gate as my sister (thats what I did with one of my friends last year )

 

I just asked my Mum, and she says if your Mum wants to call her for peace of mind, thats allgood with her, I can give you our number My Mum always gets so serious when I ask her things like this. I know you might not be able to come but hey, offers there if you can make it work

I spent so much on my ticket to Rufus Wainwright's show at the end of Feb and I can't ask my mother because she's already taking me to Auckland for Lady Gaga in March and I already abused her guilt of abandoning me this weel to get the 2001 Rufus album "Poses" (w/ Greg Wells!) so I could have it and maybe get it signed when I see Rufus so I think I'm out of lukc!

BUT Crystal is coming back (fatbottomgirlnz) to P'ram and I know how she likes Parachute so I'll see if we can go together next year!

i did science, english, maths, art, PE and geography. Not the most fun choices but THIS year I am doing media studies, maths, english, photography, computing and hisotry. The choices our school offers suck on the extreme end.

 

You should come to Parachute with me!! Seriously, you should. I'm staying with my family and a couple of my friends are coming along, but we have spare room! And my friends are really cool, one is even half - a - mika-fan, and I'm one of the craziest Mika fans around.. and my parents are totally cool if another person comes along.. if you could get a ride there and back, you dont even have to see the people you know!! That and i'm dead keen on meeting you and spending time with you

Well, everyone thinks he's incredible unprofessional anyway. One day I'm going to be big and famous and make the whole world hate him!!!

This year's courses I'm taking are IT, English, Health, Media Studies, Drama, and French.

I'm also going to rejoin the chior and get into jazz and/or ballet class so I can learn to be a more confident dancer.

How much does Parachute cost? I can ask if I can get a ride with someone from but the thing is probably that my mother won't like me going with someone I met over the internet - No matter how geat I say they are
