    Oh Bab, just read your India article. I didn't bother to read the rest of the 24 pages discussion though :naughty: . I also think its a holiday in disguise: 1 hour yoga per day, lying in the sun and drinking cocktails for the rest of the day :mf_rosetinted:

    ?? If she was aggressive why didn't they knock her out? Like with anesthesia? :doh:

     

    Not sure I'd let these people operate on my cat. They don't sound too bright.

     

    She did get the full dose of anesthesia but it didn't really work. She got breathing problems and so the vet decided not to operate.

     

    Just came back from lunch with Blue. Greetings to all. I love living in Europe :naughty:

    Are we official yet? :roftl: Does anyone have a clue when (if) it will happen?

    One of my colleagues, Shobna, reckons there is an article about Mika and his new album in the Asian paper she gets. Can't think how there would be anything about a new album espec in an Indian paper. I asked if it was about LICM but she insists it's not.

    Anyway, she lives near me so she's going to pop it into my house sometime tonight, I told her I couldn't wait till tomorrow - I'll keep you posted.

     

    Wow! An article from an Indian magazine. So he finally reached global fame. Now he only has to tour Oz to make his career perfect :newyear:

     

     

    My cat is crazy :blink: . She was meant to have her surgery today but it didn't work because she was too excited/aggressive for the anesthesia. Now I'll have to try again in about 3 weeks :blink: . Good job Amy!

    That's really weird. I never thought about bots searching the internet before. On the other hand it is quite apparent. I mean you can't expect real persons to search everything :roftl: . Although we have enough unemployed people in Germany who could :mf_rosetinted:

     

    Something else: I was wondering when we have to open the next part of our dear little thread. At 5000 posts? So its still a while right?

    And the worst thing is, in this thread you can never be sure if is some kind of sarcastic joke, or if it is something I really don't understand due to the language or the internet special knowledge.

    But as life would be dull without challenges I keep coming back!:naughty:

     

     

    And it’s nice and colourful with this new Christmassy touch in here. Love it!

     

    As far as I understand it, bots are programmes from search engines like Yahoo or Google which look through (old) threads. This way they can provide more search results because they find new sources for certain key words. I have no idea if that's really what they are there for :naughty: . And I can't explain it in English :blush-anim-cl: . I hope you understood me anyway :wink2:

    To think that I faced public ridicule by taking those snaps in a busy shop, for nobody to even mention them now...Sigh...:thumbdown:

     

    Of course I saw them. They are beautiful. I need to have them!!!! Guess what I want for my birthday?

    Why don't you close the door to your bedroom?

    Hm, wouldn't help much to solve the boyfriend sound though!:naughty:

     

    I have had several cats and some of them have slept on my bed, nice and quiet without disturbing me, and I love it!

    But the cats I have now just don’t get it! As soon as I try to sleep they start to chase each other on my bed and around the whole bedroom.

    So now I have started to close the door, sometimes I can hear one of them miaow for a short while but then it gets silent.

    I felt bad about it in the beginning shutting them out like that, but I have realised we all need to sleep at nights.:wink2:

     

    That's what we've tried in the beginning. She is a few hours silent and then she starts scratching the carpet in front of the bedroom door. And she scratches the door. That gets really annoying so you open the door again. Sometimes she just wanders around the room and then leaves again (which doesn't mean that you can close the door again) and sometimes she jumps on the bed and sleeps which is perfectly alright. I just have to get used to the feeling of having an animal in my bed. But lately she has started chasing my feet when they move and I can't sleep anymore because I'm afraid she might attack my face :sneaky2: . I hope it will get better after the surgery on Monday. Otherwise I have to get some earplugs which will hopefully prevent me from hearing the cat in front of the door as well as the bf next to me :wink2: .

    Actually those are changes that I suggested over here that Freddie agreed to take on board. The tech team is still working on it: there'll be a section for Mika's music/artwork separate from Chat About Mika too when work on the other sections is finished.

     

    Great idea. Thanks a lot. It was all getting a bit messy and its much better to have it properly structured :thumb_yello:

     

    They are there you just gotta look for Scut's thread. I like those changes.

     

    And also on that thread, it was requested that Apples be allowed to continue their use of the :mf_rosetinted: at a rate far exceeding the rest of the forum

     

    Which I think is the apple prerogative.

     

    Yay!!! We need the :mf_rosetinted: ! Only because others can't use it properly doesn't mean we have to stop :mf_rosetinted: .

     

     

    Argh! I also feel slightly hung over today. And I didn't even drink :blink: . I fell asleep at 5 in the morning because bf and cat were taking their turns to keep me awake. When bf wasn't snoring like hell, the cat was terrorising me :boxed: . And now I have to go to work :thumbdown:
