My kids happen to know 4 very special people called "Grandparents" - they come in handy. I have an average sized 2200 square foot home and I've had 60 guests over at one time. I know some MFCers who can sleep on the floor. I would totally supply all the Smirnoff Green Apple. And Canada is the fridge (between October and April anyway) - the back deck, the cold cellar, the garage - that means hundreds of bottles if necessary.

Is there a chance she felt scared of you leaning over her? I have no idea. She seemed comfortable and I didn't lean over her in a way that she wasn't able to escape. I just bent down a bit to pet her. And she came to me to be petted so I wasn't chasing her or anything. Not at 5am in the morning anyway

Were you holding her prior to this attack? No. I know she doesn't like it so I just hold her when she is at places where she isn't supposed to be.

Is there a chance she's pregnant? Hopefully not . No, its impossible.

Or just had kittens? Nop.

Could she be ill? The vet said there is a chance that something is wrong with her heart but she behaved perfectly normal before.

Has she been eating lately? I think so. She ate normal over the last few days.

Anything out of the ordinary? Not that I know.

Other strange behaviour? She's a strange cat

 

And the one question I love the most: You weren't standing on her tail were you?? Ahh, now I see why she did it . But: no!

 

I have a heap of advice but I need to know more about the situation that lead to her doing it. There may be absolutely no logical reason for her doing it, but I just want to eliminate possible reasons first.

Sorry! I was so tired last night that I only watched a bit tv and then went to bed. I'll hopefully be here the next time (not tonight though)

Anther question to the cat experts: My cat attacked my face this morning without reason when I was standing. I didn't do anything. I stroked her before and she seemed to enjoy it. When I was bending over her she attacked for the first time and later when I was standing again for the second. Does anyone know why? I'm mean, its getting serious. I can live with a few scratches on my hands but I don't want my face to be hurt and fear an attack any moment. I only hope that once she gets fixed it will be better otherwise I think I have to give her away . She's such a cute thing and I really love her and I just don't know why she behaves the way she does .

Something else: I'll see The Kooks tonight in a church in Cologne . Have to take a shower now and eat something. I missed the queuing

What is even more important is that we missed the official first birthday of the Appleman himself which was on April 6th (not that I'm obsessed with dates...) . I wonder if he'll ever forgive us that . Poor guy! He didn't get cards or mugs or anything. Stupid us!

Same here. Its really interesting what you do when you're supposed to study. Suddenly cleaning the windows seems really attractive.

Its about 10 in the morning and I already got back home from university. I had a class at 8 ( ) and we already finished at 9. And that's what I got up for in the middle of the night . The class sounds like fun though: Gender in American Sitcom which basically means watching Friends and Sex in the City . And I'll do a presentation on I dream of Jeannie, one of my favourite childhood tv-shows.

Amy is fine. I have a few more scratches on my hand (she only goes for the right one) but she seems to enjoy herself. She doesn't know yet that we have to go to the doc again on Tuesday . She's been a bit annoying yesterday and today though. I don't know why but she's been more bitchy than usual.

I saw a doc today on tv which was almost fed to death by its former owner. Weights about 50 kg and could hardly move. That is so cruel

I think I'm a bit off Mika at the moment again.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

I don't actually know what and where I am (concerning Mika). I'm just a bit disappointed/pissed of (whatever) because of all this officialness trara.

Yesterday was my first Mika concert anniversary . I did celebrate it with buying some more toys for my cat. Berlin last year was great though .

Edit: So Mika cut his hair instead of recording an album? It looks kind of alright. Have to get used to it. He's so handsome and cute anyway . Did I just say that? Sorry

Same for breaking a mirror causing 7 years bad luck, I broke one once and I can't say the 7 years after were horrible...not that I'm complaining

I remember my father telling me about the 7 years bad luck when you break a mirror when I was a child. I got really scared and I don't think I have ever broken a mirror up to now. Its not that I believe in it though. I'm just cautious .

I do however believe in the 7 years bad sex when you don't look someone in the eye when clinking glasses . 7 years is a looooooong time .

No, it was my cat who locked ME out. What fun. I had to wait a while before my bf realised where the knocking came from . She jumped against the door handle and turned it just enough for me not to be able to get in again .

Now I'm really off to bed. Cat is already asleep on her chair (at least until I leave the living room )

And you won't see me for a bit now, as tomorrow I am off to my conference...except it is in ITALY!! Yay!! I had hoped to see avoca and robi, but they don't live anywhere near where I am going. Oh, and one night in Paris to see my cousin on the way home next week.

How did you never get the chicken pox!???? It is horrible! And I had mine and yours!!!!

 

I have no idea how I survived them. I once had a few dots as a baby where the docs weren't sure if it was chicken pox. I think it was because I survived even my the pox if my cousins who I used to spend veeeery much time with even when they had them. Maybe I'm just lucky . Or I'll get them really bad when my future kids will

I'm ok, but my 7yr old had a fever all night and threw up. Then she woke up to 3 little, red bumps. By the time I made her breakfast, we found 5 bumps.

She has the chicken pox. I just spent almost $40 on fever medication, oatmeal bath treatments, calamine lotion, and Aveeno anti-itch lotion. She's gonna be miserable in the next few days... Hope your baby girl Amy is doing better.

Eeeeek! I remember having the chicken pox when I was little. I was unlucky enough to get them twice!!!!!! My mom freaked out cause you're only supposed to get them once, some how I ended up getting it twice:blink:

So you got mine ! I never had them but I also survived ever epidemic in kindergarten and school. Must be horrible
