  1. Hey ladies!

Got back from Amsterdam (Blue's place) this evening. I'm tired but I don't seem to get a cold.

I can't be bothered to read the review thread about yesterday. I liked the show and especially Jack Sparro as support. And I had a great time waiting outside when everyone else was inside meeting Mika. What can I say? It was just a bad timing for following the natural needs after a looooong day :wink2:. And it was cold. And wet. Anyway, it was nice seeing the ones who have been there again.

  2. So cute, love her lots.

I've missed out on a lot? I didn't know you came to London Pip?

H, I haven't seen you for ages! Amy's weeing? Hope you are sorting it out OK?

I haven't been on for a while. The term comes to an end and with it a lot of work. Furthermore I lost track on what happened in the Mika-verse and I wasn't really able to catch up again.

Amy managed not to pee somewhere in the flat for about 1 1/2 days. :yay: I put some dry food in her bed in which she peed twice and she isn't allowed in the bedroom anymore. I also try to spend a bit more time around her again as I think she might have felt lonely. That's why we think about getting another cat. A kitten this time and not such a mental case like Amy :wink2:.

  3. Yes it was a huge suprise

Its strange without England I thought it would have no interest but Im really liking it :punk:

I don't think I would have watched anything if Germany wasn't playing. I even kind of stopped watching when they were losing against Croatia. I did the laundry instead . I just can't see them lose. I think the match against Turkey will be really exciting tomorrow especially as the Turks tend to win in the last 5 minutes. And I hope that the fans will remain peaceful especially in Germany as there are many Turks living here.

  4. Yeh ... I was very sad I must say :boxed:

    Sighhhhhhh

Russia are a huge suprise , in the qualification games England had Crotia and Russia .. maybe we didnt realise what a good side they were

Me too. And really surprised. They were doing so good... And I was actually looking forward to a German, Dutch final :naughty:. The whole quarter finals were a big surprise and most of the matches really boring (until the end).

So now we can look forward to the semi-finals. Yay! :punk:

  5. Oh? Ooooooh! Can I still watch the show somewhere on the internet? I had to miss it yesterday...

Pushing is bad  but apparently inevitable at a Kooks gig... Although it seems to be worse in Germany than it is here.

    http://www.livedome.com/de/konzerte/

You can still watch it here. And also a long interview.

Now that I feel able to speak again after about two sleepless nights I want to give my impression of the gig. I mainly agree with Petra. The fans were awful. I was lucky that I had a good spot: front row right side. Unfortunately unable to see Dan as I had the bass boxes in front of me. The show was good and the Holloways were really great. I made some good videos. All in all about 1,8 gb. I'm too lazy to upload them though :naughty:.

I think I'll go to bed again. Have to be awake for the football match tonight :mf_rosetinted:.

  6. Just came home from watching the games with 5000 people ....but Switzerland lost and we also lost our best player alex frei because he is injured :sad:

I'm also glad Portugal won but I really don't like Ch. Ronaldo !!! This thread has def. too many pics of him :boxed:

I felt so sorry for Switzerland yesterday when I heard about the lost match and the injured player. That's really bad especially because you're the host country . I hope he'll get better soon although they said he won't be able to play again during the Euro . I hope you're able to enjoy the time anyway. At least its in your country and the atmosphere must be great. I still remember the summer 2006 when the World Cup was in Germany. It was amazing :wub2:. Everyone was celebrating on the streets and enjoying themselves.

I absolutely agree with you about this Ronaldo kid. He annoyed me like hell yesterday.

Anyway, Germany is on tonight. :toot:

  7. I must be the only person who doesn't find him attractive!!

Roque Santa Cruz is my fave..pity he isn't European :bleh:

No you're not! I don't find him attractive either... He's a tad too boyish, not manly enough :naughty: Figo, now he was my type of guy :roftl:

I don't like him either. I don't want to start explaining why I don't like him as I don't want to offend anyone in here :naughty:.

Am I the only one who supports Turkey in this match? I don't know why but I wish Turkey won . I'm usually on the outsiders side :wink2:.

But tomorrow.... I'll turn into a patriotic football girl :ap_rosetinted:

  8. I understand your problem birthday girl! You are faffing around with your camera instead of partying!

Hope you are having a good day!

    Happy Birthday!

Right! I decided not to party this year. I'm getting too old for that . Anyway, I had a nice party with Mr. BJ yesterday. That should be enough for the next weeks. I'm off to bed. I still need to catch up on a little bit of sleep. See you and once again thanks for all your birthday wishes :naughty:

  9. I'M DONE ALL MY EXAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Woooo hooo!!!!!!!!!

    :punk:

Now time for some wild summer fun!!!!!!!!!! Like this guy:taz:

Lol I really have always use that smiley face.

    And getting a job:thumbdown:

Wow! Congratulations. Enjoy your free time.

I have a presentation coming up in about an hour and I'm feeling terribly sick right now mainly because I haven't eaten anything today . I hope I'll survive :kaf:

  10. :naughty: I think we had such a good day yesterday that even the apples can tolerate a little sentimentality.

What happened? Looks as if I missed something important? Again? Mika posted? Official :kaf: ?

    Suzy:

Happy belated birthday. When exactly was it :blush-anim-cl:? Looks like you had an awesome day :naughty:.

Still I'll send you some flowers :flowers2: :flowers2:

Hm, am I the only one who is sick of being 25 and even more afraid of turning 26 in a couple of days? I guess I still have to reach the age where I can appreciate my "youth"

  11. I should!! Is there any chance of me claiming citizenship since my father was born there

I'm waiting for him to trip over himself into my lap..

Have you got any pictures from the concert?

Of course you can. We take pretty much everyone mainly because we don't dare to refuse anyone :naughty:. And after all its an emergency :naughty:.

    Good luck with that :bleh:.

I don't really have pictures. The best one I have is this:

    5pvr-2.jpg

After that my battery was empty :tears:

I'll be better prepared next time :thumb_yello:

  12. I love how this thread has taken a turn to Bon Jovi conversation. Much better than cat butts! I will say that I do love me some "Livin' on a Prayer" and in general, they would be a fun guilty pleasure and a dance floor fave... and Jon Bon Jovi is one of the few 80s hair rockers who's kept his looks quite well, imo. So I'm a bit jealous of Haeschen.

    --Jack

Yea, I like it too :naughty:. Something else that offers a distraction from the absence of Mika related news. Not that I care... :kaf:.

Jon definitely kept his looks well although you start to see his age now especially in form of crinkles around his eyes. But his body is in great shape :naughty:.

Please excuse the multiple answers. It was too much to answer in one single post and I still hope that I will reach my 2000 one day :ap_rosetinted:

  13. 20 years?

Oh my!! That means that if you're 40, at the prime of life, you end up with a 60 yr old man? No thanks, not for me:naughty:. I always had a thing for toyboys.

But I do find Jon BJ hot, though I found him hotter a number of years ago.

I never saw them live so I guess I would go and see them now if they were playing their old material (Haven't kept up with it since who knows when).

    I used to love them!!

Ooooh we're half way thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Living on a praaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayer!!

20 years is quite a difference. That's right but its not uncommon. The husband of my former boss was 20 years older. She was like 50 and he 70. Wonder if he's still alive . At least I guess I would always feel young in his presence :naughty:.

Do come to one of their shows. Its amazing. They mainly play old songs because the new ones aren't liked by everyone. The older ones on the other hand really rock. I guess Mika could never make me dance and scream like BJ did last week :dance_man:
