NICE'S GIG REVIEW First let me say that i was really looking forward to seing this gig (and please excuse my bad english) we arrived to the Nikaia me and jennifer (a friend of mine) late...really late because she was to finish her courses at 18:00 and she had to prepare herself and we drank some vodka before going....lets say that it was ME who asked for it i wanted this night to be very special and it was...the only problem was that i was to meet 2 italian fans from MFC but well i think they were already inside when i arrived...my head was dizzy and i really wanted to find a nice place...the Nikaia is soo big and i think we must have been 5000 to 6000 people... minutes after arriving Yelle started her show...i must say that she's not exactely that bad...i liked her and danced like mad to her song "a cause des garçons" then she finished and we waited...i lost track of time and was very eager to see mika...after what seemed to me nearly half an hour Mika arrived with the usual tune of relax who was really loud and transported me...i was in a kind of trance and overwhelmed with emotion...Mika was dressed in white with the usual white stretch trouser and it was kind of embroided (? ) with gold...he was as energetic as always...and then he sang his usual songs...i lost track of the order of the songs because my head was anywhere but in the Nikaia...i was on my little star...in the outer space i really liked Grace Kelly and was more than overwhelmed with happy ending and billy brown....jennifer was shouting and i was dancing but (this morning she told me that i was dancing like a monkey ) anyway the gig was huuuuuuuge the best one i have ever seen...Mika told us that Nice was his second city of adoption in france because he used to come on vacation on the cote d'azur to villeneuve Loubet (which is a small city between nice and Antibes) and he thanked his french fans for beleiving in hin even though he subscribed once in a song contest in Juan-les-pins but didn't win... What was special in this gig : *mika had a problem with his socks....he was constantly pushing them up *The stage had a nice decor...with lights and the huge Big girl puppet *He sang his now rather known new songs *He declared his love to the cote d'azur and said that he still have family here *A very energetic Realx and grace kelly song with an emotional happy ending That's it i'm really sorry for my lack of details but i don't exactely remeber what really happened ....as i said i was in a kind of trance...i wanted to meet mika after the gig but jennifer insisted that we should go because she was not feeling alright (i don't know what she was having but she wouldn't tell me ) so i had to accept and came back with her...when i arrived home it was already 01:00 or kind of....i don't remember( i don't live in nice) and i woke up at 6AM this morning took a shower and made it directely to my university...where i am right now...writing this report in the library.

Well lebanese are half christians half muslim ask me i'm lebanese and roman catholic(on papers only ) like Mika...we have so many similarities and i asked my dad about mika's cousin family..you know the family is Mukattaf (written on the cover of the cd) and he confirmed that he knew a man from the mukattaf family who was catholic and i did some researches about the whereabouts of his family in lebanon but couldn't find any...but we recently knew that he used to live in southen beirut (for further informations visit the leb thread and kindly post there)

Ok Ok.... but i did hope not to be alone there...especialy that all my friends refused to go with me seeing as we have an exam in the week. I'll try to do my best though for the pics and the review !

From a former french city called Rayak i used to go there in my childhood to see my grandparents and it was a beautiful little city but now.... it changed a lot if you know what i mean. In the south we arrived to the borders with israel (it was safe at this time) i saw the jordan river^^ the holy river it's sooo beautiful...wish i could go there again ! But this summer i went to beirut and the metn and the kesrouan...i didn't go further

Oh yeah thx lebangel...i forgot the part about the hippodrome...that's in south beirut not south of lebanon well then the mission IS accomplished:naughty: but how come you've never been to baalbeck ?! i've been there it's...GREAT...really grand ! and my mum is from a village near baalbeck too as for the south i've been there in 2003 it's sooo beautiful

I think that with this new look he emphasies on his beautiful face...it makes a nice change and that suits him but i think he'll get the curls after when his hair will regrow a little

may i remember you that Monaco's gig was cancelled too !!! it was in the 21st of june and i was even more disappointed than you ! so now seeing as mika is going to make a gig in nice i'm not going to complain about that...and i think we deserve it...he sold more than 800.000 album in france how many album has he sold in italy ? hein ??
