  11. UPDATE: BARACK OBAMA IS OUR PRESIDENT! Today is the day! Tonight, we will know who the next president of the United States will be. It was suggested that I make a seperate thread for this monumental event, and I thought "Why not?!" I've realized over the past few months how much other countries care about what's going on here in the states. Somehow, what happens here effects what happens in their own nations. So I'm curious to get everyone's take on this election, from all over the world If you voted, and are comfortable with the idea: Tell us who you voted for! If you couldn't vote because of your age or maybe you're not a citizen: Who would you have voted for? ************************************************************************* UPDATE: I'LL RAISE MY VOICE HERE LOL...I'M IN TEARS, SCREAMING, HAPPY, EXCITED, CONTENT. I LOVE BARACK OBAMA, AND I'M SO HAPPY HE IS MY PRESIDENT!!!GOD BLESS HIM, AND GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY! MCCAIN PUT UP A FIGHT, KUDOS TO HIM. =) So this is it... I voted for Barack Obama and you guys may know that I live just outside of Chicago. Downtown was crazy, insane today! The energy was the best I've ever felt it. Everyone seems to be pulling for Obama and we're all united tonight. If something goes wrong, I don't want to see how the city reacts. But I'm close enough to the action to feel excited still! Rally tonight, tickets sold out... but I still feel connected:punk:
