  1. Hmmm, perhaps we could do 2 lines, a leather and a faux leather??? I'm sure we can make it work.
  2. Ok I have three designs here. One leather, one canvas (I think), and one thread/beads. Here is the leather: http://www.makingfriends.com/jewelry/bracelet_gemstones.htm The canvas: http://www.makingfriends.com/j_canvas.htm And the thread: http://www.mediamessage.com/kayton/GirlScouts/bracelet.htm I quite like the leather one because we can really personalize them but have one great uniting MFC emblem or something?? The second one I like to but I have a thing for buttons... Just some rough thoughts.
  3. I love this idea!! I also really like the idea of using thread (embroidery thread?) to make 'em. And beads and whatnot. That seems more Mika to me and then more of us could wear them! All colourful and braided and what have you. Maybe we could find a base pattern (you can find them online - I can look) and all personalize our own?? But have them sort of the same? I think I'm kind of rambling now:blush-anim-cl: Are any of us allergic to hemp?
  4. I also have a Red Bowtie:wub2: Will now make mental note to wear it every day
  5. I gotta say that purple jumper/sweater does it for me. I could just play that bit of the video over and over and over and...
  6. I'd like to find a way other than photobucket as well. I also have to many and it would take to long to upload them all
  7. TOTALLY know what you mean. He is so down to earth and beautiful and perfect with his curly flop of hair and perfect eyes and perfect smile and laugh and arms and hands and suspenders (braces) etc etc etc (ill stop myself here).
  8. I live in Vancouver BC and really want to fly down but I have my graduation commencments on the 9th:confused:!!! Should I skip them?
  9. Truth be told I love watching the interveiws etc more than the music videos. Of course the overall amazing beautiful voice/falcetto boggles the mind every time but I love the natural way he is in interviews. Plus the laugh... LOVE that laugh and there is no better Mika-look than the Laughing-Mika-look.
  10. Oooo! Mee too mee too!! Curly hair fanatic! Mmmm, most beautiful curly hair is residing at the top of this thread (so beautiful).
  11. *Dies at thought of missing Mika* That sucks so much!! But you have seen him once, it MUST happen again!
  12. My pleasure! Your MY hero for starting this thread, I am feeling faint for all the beautiful Mika arms and hands waving about in here!
  13. I live in British Columbia, Canada (other side). Totally know what you mean about people thinking they are the shizzle. I don't live that far from Victoria or Vancouver but I DO live in a little beach town that thinks it the 'Laguna Beach' of BC. Its not. Everyone is pretencious. But thats okay because in Vancouver we have a GREAT music scene and Mika is spreading like wildfire from surpressed kid in White Rock (yes thats the city I live in) to other surpressed White Rock kid with any taste in music whatsoever.
  14. This One???? I added another cause I love it and his arm's in it (also I can't take credit for these.. the link is linked from the other pictures thread and now I can't find it)
  15. Hellooo! I just joined up a few days ago too and I can't stop! You will love it here and don't be surprised if you forget to sleep as well as feeding the pooch (I've been sleep deprived the last few weeks due to my Mikobsession aswell)
  16. Ok so lesse. I have Canadian and American citizenship. My dad is full blooded Greek in every sence of the word (speaks, looks, acts, etc). My moms family is from Texas but goes back farther to England and Ireland. She was born in England and he was born in Canada but his parents both migrated from Greece. So I guess that makes me a CanadianAmercianGreekEnglishIrishwoman?
  17. Kudos!! In total agreement.. right here.
  18. Hey there, I know exactly how you feel. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I think it will be a while beofre Mika comes here but don't lose hope! He is amazing and it wont be to long before he's playing all kinds of shows here. And what even more great is we know lots about his tour dates and when he's coming so we will get to see some of the first more intimate shows he plays before he starts playing the bigger venues. If you need a boost out of your mikapression I'd say go read Mirtilla's post about the Alcatraz show and watch those videos. They really made me realize how down to earth Mika is and how willing he is to stand about with his fans chatting. He is amazing and it wont be long! alli
  19. Oh thank you all so much! You are all such lovely people and I can't wait to get to know you better!! Its so nice to find other Mika Lovers close to home.
  20. Oooooo, I totally agree! Billy Brown would be a top choice for me. Mika in a top hat would make my year!
  21. I'm all over this idea! Simply glows with love (nice pun eh?) That is if he starts touring on the West Coast of Canada more (I even write eh.. how sad is that?)
  22. I think it makes sence he would want to forget it. Love is hard... not in the sence that BEING in love is hard, getting there is. Its not something you can have thrown AT you, its something you need to be thrown INto. Its hard to be thrown into anything if you dwell on the past. -alli
  23. Hello all fellow Mika lovers, I am from over in the Great White North: British Columbia, Canada (though where I live is neither great, white, or north) and discovered Mika a few months back from a friend. I now find myself staying up into all hours of the night watching interveiws and getting to know the voice I love so much a bit better (I'm sure you can all understand). I wish Mika toured in Canada more, it makes me so sad to see a bunch of you with pictures of you and him and I've been looking for tour dates close to where I live (within a couple days drive?) but to no avail. All in good time I suppose. Anyways, thanks for the great space!! Alli
