1. there's a belief, that if a person gets hiccups - someone somewhere is mentioning them...poor David... 2. anyway - there has always been a niche for those (seemingly)non-catchy ones, and not that small a niche btw... plus if there's something more to the song, than just a pretty tune, whether it is lyrics, mood, reflection of authors active citizenship etc - it will find its way... so (guess I am repeating myself here) I don't think there's some kind of doubt whether his album will find responce/be commercially successful etc, but rather some personal decisions.

Absolutely agree with Ioana's point of view.....I've always had this feeling that the main reason for staying out of the spotlight is not "being unaware" of his powers, but rather some personal choice....(whtever the reason of the choice can be...) (Edit - typos )
