  1. I express myself through music, acting, and writing. I live and breathe music, and it's really what I want to do for the rest of my life. I love to sing, and I also reallt want to be involved in musical theatre for the rest of my life. For me, there's nothing quite like embodying a character who may be completely different from myself, and expressing their feelings through music. It's one of the most fulfilling feelings I've ever experienced. I also love to write. Opinion pieces, poetry, stories etc. Although I would never seriously consider making a career out of writing, it's still something I'm really passionate about.
  2. Music. I first heard "Grace Kelly" on the radio, then my friend played the entire album for me. I didn't find out what he looked like until after I bought the album for myself, and saw his picture in the CD booklet. It's really all about the music for me, but it doesn't hurt when the musician's a stone cold fox, either.
  3. I just want him to LOVE ME! Actually, I see that thread until after I bumped this one.
  4. I decided to give this one a bump, because I absolutely love reading. I pretty much always have a book in my hands. Here are some books I've read that are just fabulous, with some summaries from amazon.com Life of Pi: The precocious son of a zookeeper, 16-year-old Pi Patel is raised in Pondicherry, India, where he tries on various faiths for size, attracting "religions the way a dog attracts fleas." Planning a move to Canada, his father packs up the family and their menagerie and they hitch a ride on an enormous freighter. After a harrowing shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean, trapped on a 26-foot lifeboat with a wounded zebra, a spotted hyena, a seasick orangutan, and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. What Happened to Lani Garver: Lani Garver shows up at school, a tall, thin, strangely androgynous person. "No. Not a girl. Sorry," he says pleasantly when Macy questions him about his gender with vicious curiosity. But Claire, much to Macy's disgust, is drawn to Lani, and his wisdom and kindness begins to heal her. He takes her to Philadelphia to meet his artistic friends, talks sense to her about her eating disorder and her blind devotion to Macy, finds her a therapist. Who is this Lani Garver? He resists "boxes" like "gay." Even his age is a mystery to Claire. Strangest of all, could he be a "floating angel," as his friends at the hospital seem to believe? Meanwhile, the fish frat are closing in for the kill, and when their harassment turns lethal, Lani shows a terrible side of himself Claire has never seen. Ragtime: (From the book cover) Ragtime is set in America at the beginning of the 20th century. Its characters: three remarkable families whose lives become entwined with people whose names are Henry Ford, Emma Goldman, Harry Houdini, J.P. Morgan, Theodore Dreiser, Sigmund Freud, Emiliano Zapata. This summer I have a bunch of books lined up: In Cold Blood, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Les Miserables. All 1200 pages of it.
  5. I made my entire family once. The sim of my brother looked exactly like my brother, too. He was even wearing a shirt identical to one he wears. It was so strange!
  6. That's a whole lot better than when I tried to make one! Because I only have one expansion, I don't have enough hair and facial things, so it was preeeeetty bad.
  7. A lot of magazines have a specific page or two of pictures of celebrities with witty captions or speech bubbles. I'm sure that's what this is, too.
  8. I just got back from my city's Multi-Cultural Festival. It's my favourite part of summer. The food is absolutely amazing! Wanna see what I bought??
  9. I wish I had a 7 ft poster of Mika to put on MY ceiling...
  10. Well, it's 1 oclock in the morning. I should probably go to bed, but instead, I'm going to go read my book. Nightie-night!
  11. Daang his skin is absolutely flawless. Why do guys always seem to have better hair AND skin than girls? It's not fair!
  12. Ooooh. I only ever saw the first one once, on this show on teletoon that played all animated shorts. I wish I could remember what the show was called... Like a muffin or a beet!
  13. OH EM GEE! Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers these: The Log Drivers' Waltz
