OMG, he looks like such a pimp in that picture with his silver chains! :rotfl: Has this been posted yet? I just searched for MIKA on Youtube and this came up, it's the intro to Relax and it is so freaking awesome. Seriosuly, you can hear like all of France screaming waiting for him to come and in when it gets kind of bright in the 30s (seconds) you can see the thousands of people in the crowd all jumping up and down even the ones in the waay back. Makes me seriously wish I was there. :(

That makes sense, college is usually a growing up, coming of age experience. I love how we're speculating about all these symbols and lyrics. It would just kill me if I ever found out that Mika just drew these pictures randomly without thinking much of it. And then, Mika said he wrote pretty much all of his songs within a 1-2 year period, right? He mentioned this in a radio interview, that he wrote several of his songs while making the album, and that he didn't think it would be right to use songs he wrote over a really long period of time. So this relationship must have been fairly quick. Just speculating though.

If that's the case, then I'm pretty sure Over My Shoulder and other ballads will be one of the first bits they'll cut, simply because they aren't as commercially appealing as Grace Kelly or Love Today.

Cynthia, I don't want to bother you, but I had just a little question about this part of your story. I was a little shocked by that part, cause I always thought that Mika and his band had great "chemistry" if you will both on the stage and off. Maybe that's a little idealistic of me, but that's kind of how I always imagined it. This piece of information seems to contradict that a little bit. Sorry if this has been brought up before.

Mika being a racist is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. If anything, he was exhausted and not functioning normally. Period.

That actually kind of makes sense! Still, I'm a bit confused... Also, this lyrics from My Interpretation always confuses me: "I don't need a reason not to care what you say," So, taking out the double negative, he does need a reason to care what the other person says?

No matter how many times I listen to that song I can never really figure out what's going on in it. It's pretty contradictory at times... Like here, it seems like the other person really hates MIKA: "Used to love me Now you hate me See I drove you crazy" But here, it seems like the other person is obsessed with him: "You got a dangerous obsession Now I'm in need of some protection" And also here: "Won't somebody save me? From you now" And even though the whole song MIKA sounds like he's sick of the other person, there's also this lyric that makes it seems like he still likes the other person: "I was sitting on the fence And I thought that I would kiss you I never thought I would've missed you." But maybe I am the only one who is confused Here!

The bottle scares me, because it looks almost like it's blood in the bottle, not wine. It's probably intended to be wine, but it makes me think of blood.
