  1. OK I will let you know. Hopefully they'll let us know what's the deal with tickets soon. It seems that there will also be a competition of some sort for free tickets. Hmm we'll see.

No idea about the venue, though. :wink2:

Well, Slovenia's waiting for you.

Oh my, I wouldn't like to let Slovenia down  but just found out that the venue will be the Hippodrome!! It's massive! Which is great and terrible at the same time. Argh, decisions :boxed:

  2. I like ABBA so much! My dad feels very sentimental about their music so it's kind of always been there. It's so cheerful and positive. Also I don't think they get enough credit for the lyrics, some of them are really good.

So yeah, I've always liked their music but ever since my sister moved to Sweden and I've spent a lot of time there I react to Swedish things more or less like I react to Polish things. I feel partly Swedish hehe. So ABBA is like my family's thing if you know what I mean.

I saw Alice posted the link to the Mamma Mia thread. I loved it! The movie that is, haven't looked at the thread yet :original: I saw it like three times with my sisters and by the third we were singing and dancing. It's that kind of movie that makes you appreciate your life and enjoy it even when there may seem like there's not much to be happy about. It's about the affirmation of life and looking at the bright side. It's something I'm trying to do every day cause well, to put it simply, it's better to be happy than unhappy imo :wink2:

I'll tell you a secret connected to Mamma Mia. My siblings and I have this new annual tradition of going on summer holidays together on our big bdays. This year it'll be my sister's 30th bday. So we're taking this trip and we've got this idea of going to a club on her bday and the three of us (my other two sisters and I) will sing Dancing Queen to her at midnight :biggrin2: We all loved the movie so we'll be prepared, we'll design our costumes and have them made, we'll learn the routine you see at the end of the movie, luckily it's not very complicated. It'll be so embarassing and fun! Lol, I know it's boring but I'm so excited about the idea, I can't believe I have to wait 5 months before we do it :naughty:

  3. You're welcome. It really seems that the gig will happen cuz I saw a commerical on the TV today.:punk: So I can stick to my old phone number...looks like there really won't be any need to change it.:naughty:

It's a regular gig, it's not a part of any festival. The only thing is that is being hosted by cell phone operator.:wink2:

I can let you know when the tickets will be available for purchase.:wink2:

Yes please! Thank you :original: Now that I know it's a regular gig I'm really tempted to go! I wonder how big the venue will be. I wish I could go to Paris, Zenith's capacity is around 6,000 I think :wub2: Oh well, Slovenia here I come? :biggrin2:

  4. Well, all the biggest slovenian media are reporting about it. This gig is being organized by slovenian biggest cell phone operator, and they'll even give some tickets away for free for users of one of their package. The location of the gig also remains unknown for now..well, I sure hope that this gig will happen. If not, I'll kick someone and change my operator.:mf_rosetinted:

The gig will be on Sunday June 7th. Here's the link, but I'm afraid it's not in english: http://www.mobitel.si/slo/press/sporocilazamedije/brskanjepokategorijah/press200923februar09.asp

Thanks for the link! I used my personnal favourite that is google translator and it seems like the gig's a fact, don't think there'll be a need of kicking anyone :naughty:

I'm still not 100% sure about one thing though. Is this a regular gig or a part of a festival?

This is looking good, I was planning a weekend break in June anyway! :biggrin2:

  5. Yup, it's the same here. We rarely have any really good gigs here so it's totally understandable that I'm going a bit crazy over this. And the best part of all is that it seems that the tickets won't be expensive at all (they'll be around 22€).

    Oh, completely understandable annabelle :naughty:

Actually, as the Verona gig is not happening for me, I started thinking about yours.. I've never been to Slovenia before, I'd love to go there. But I cannot find the gig in their schedule, is it confirmed? Do you know the exact date? I'd be really grateful for any info :original:

  6. No Neon Tiger at your show??? Ooh lady, you've got a lot to look forward to then!!!

I know.. But as you can imagine even having heard it I'd still look VERY forward to any future gigs :wink2:

I actually just almost bought a ticket to the new Verona gig in a presale. The venue is :mf_lustslow:

But it seems to be popular with the Victims and my seat would be #399 row 4. So that's a no I think. If I was to spend 50 pounds on a ticket and probably 150 more on travel/hotel expenses than I'd really prefer a better spot..

I'd actually prefer to go to Paris cause Zenith seems so small compared to the O2 Arena. But money is an issue here. One ticket alone costs around 130 pounds:boxed: And I've got to be careful with my spendings cause I'm planning to go to Thailand in September. Man it sucks not being rich :mf_rosetinted: I'd so love to have a new gig ahead of me..

And last thing, I tried to upload the videos to yt but Rafa, my computer, is old and stubborn and he won't let me do it :boxed: I'll probably have to wait till I go home for holidays in late March.

Oh, and here's the Verona venue btw:

    header00.jpg

    w706.png

    How amazing is that??

  7. Oh wow!! You sound like you had an incredible time, and I wanna see your videos NOW, LOL!!

How did you make it to the front row? Was it hard? Long wait?

I went on monday but had seats, it was all I that I could get when I got the tickets, and they were great, but it sounds like your one may have been a bit better. Or maybe it's just that you can't compare being up there in the frigging heights of the clouds to being at the front hahah.

I loved the ones that got the whole place rocking though, they are excellent.

I can't wait to see the vids!

Ok, about the front.. Going to a non Mika gig made me realize just how ridiculous we are when queueing for his gigs. I mean, I always kind of knew it was insane but it hit me now I guess.

I was initially planning to go to the O2 as soon as I wake up. But I woke up late and instead of getting stressed out about it I decided that because I waited so long for it and it's such a huge deal for me, I'm just gonna enjoy the day. So I took a long shower, had a nice breakfast with my sister, took time to put some make-up on and then went to the O2. I got there at 1pm I think and was expecting hundreds of people. They're The Killers, it's O2, it's London. London loves TK, O2 is big. THERE WAS NO-ONE THERE!!! I mean, there were lots of people in the Arena but none for TK yet! I was shocked. AND the queueing was inside. No rain, no freezing your feet and other valuable body parts. I sat down on a bench and started reading. Two hours later I noticed that people started queueing and I'm sitting on a bench like a moron. So I joined the queue and was about 15th person there. At 3pm. In London. In o2. I'm boring, I know but a year ago when I came to Brixton to see Mika I arrived at 12 and I was 95th!! In freaking small Brixton!

I've seen you talking about the queueing and the seating venues Sara and I'm with you on that. I prefer standing venues so ideally people should just start showing up at reasonable time. But I think it's only gonna get worse :boxed:

Yes, I remember you saying you bought seating tickets. I think if you've tried buying standing ones you'd just end up with nothing, like me. They sold out so fast..

I was gutted not being able to see them on Monday. I stayed home and kept moaning all day long.. So I can't really compare it to Tuesday but I do prefer T's setlist. Sweet Talk :wub2: Did they play Smile Like You Mean It on Monday? The acoustic version on piano with the violin. It blew my mind!!

I've just came back from Katy Perry in Koko so didn't have a chance to upload the vids, will do it tomorrow. And I've decided to embrace my irritating manner of screaming and just get over it so there will be like 12 vids akshually...

I'm so happy for you! I can relate to your feelings a lot and I am just so pleased that everything worked out for you. Hurrah! :D

Thank you. I have yet to hear Neon Tiger though :wink2:

Wow, that was a wonderful, wonderful report...you can really tell that you had the best time ever. Now I really can't for June when they're coming to Slovenia. That's just so ****ing incredible!! I still can't believe that a band like the Killers is actually coming to our country. And now, after reading your report I'm SO looking forward to it, oh how much I wish it was June already.:biggrin2:

I know what you mean. There aren't many good concerts in Poland so I always had to travel a lot to see my favourite bands.. It's great you'll see TK, I'm sure you'll have a great time!

The Killers won the NME best international band award last night!!

    Here's the interview: http://www.nme.com/news/the-killers/43039

Thanks a lot for the link. Awww, they really are not the best interview materials, are they?..

I can't believe it: they'll play live for the first time in Rome this summer, on 14th of july (what a coincidence: it's on the little Ammon's birthday!).

I'm so anxious to get my ticket as soon as possible!

    Can't wait!:punk:

So they just added two dates! Great, I think there'll be more. Actually I've read yesterday that they're planning to tour till mid 2010 and then take a break. Quite a long one. Good for them I think. I just need to make sure I see them again before they disappear for two years or so...

  8. I saw them yesterday! And not only was that the best TK gig I've ever seen, it was THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I'm speechless. I dunno what happened to them but they were ON FIRE. Screaming and jumping, ahh the energy was ridiculous!! I've had a looong day at work today so I won't get into details now but O.M.G... It was worth EVERY SINGLE penny I paid for the ticket. And I paid A LOT. They got so expensive on ebay I only managed to go to the Tuesday gig. But I'm already planning a little trip to Paris in March :naughty: I mean, it's like two hours from here, it took me two hours to come back home from work today cause I got a little lost.. Stupid London :mf_rosetinted:

Anyway, just wanted to share my happiness :wub2: I was in the middle of the front row AND they changed the setlist for the Tuesday gig. They played Sweet Talk!!!!! I was sure I'll never be lucky enough to hear it live. It wasn't until I got home that I've realized they didn't play Neon Tiger. And I was like  But I guess it's a motivation to see them in March.

OMG... I feel like screaming. The only thing is that I've got those really amazing vids and I'm too embarassed to put them on yt cause at times you can only hear me screaming. :boxed: I sound as if I was being tortured :boxed: My sister was like 'Omg, where the people pushing you?' and i said 'No.. This is how I sound when I'm having fun'...

Honestly, those were one of the best hours of my life :blush-anim-cl: I love The Killers. I just wish Mika didn't spoil me like he did. I would give A LOT to be able to talk to them yesterday and thank them... It was so weird to just go home without speaking to them like we always do with Mika..

Ok, gotta go to sleep. Just... I love The Killers..

  9. hello everybody!

    have a nice day ;)

    l_6da265a447d844ed95227048b02ef4b4.jpg

    how he could did it???

    l_f3ac99714823439392b62c30ddda35e2.jpg

i really like the bottom of the scene, changed all the time:

    l_1412d11ea87b4e62a1c94201e58d2dfc.jpg

Great pics Fanny, especially the middle one, he's blinking :naughty:

The last one is from Any Other World, isn't it? It wasn't my best Mika gig but it definately was the best AOW I've ever heard. And when I went home for Christmas and made my whole family watch the PDP dvd with me, two of my three sisters actually cried. 3 non Mika fans, two of them crying, I'd call that a success :wink2:

  10. Yeah, he’s fascinating in the way he can just sit there and look so absolutely unimpressed and almost bored!

It makes me want to poke him with a stick!

    You speak Swedish?

    Talar du svenska???

No.. I wish I did. My sister lives in Sweden and I'd visit her every summer. I only know how to say tack så mycket and rea :naughty:

    *pats*

    You'll manage...

It's funny that you mention U2... I might be wrong, but I don't think that they started doing proper stadium gigs till somewhere around the Joshua tree... and that was their 5th album... hang on...

*counts albums*... Boy, October, War, Under a Blood Red Sky. Yeah... Joshua Tree was their 5th album...

Anyways, I don't know that at this stage of his career he'll be doing only stadium gigs all over the world... cause to be honest, there are a lot of places that he might struggle to sell out a 5000 person venue, let alone a stadium...

I guess it all depends on whether or not his career lasts a long time, similar to U2... I think it's all about taking chances and not being afraid to be expreimental (which is no problem with him! :naughty:)

As you said, he might not be the kind to do stadium gigs, or he might... it all depends on how his career pans out.

Yes I know.. I was actually trying to come up with a better example but then I thought that no one would point that out. I should know better :blush-anim-cl:

    I've watched it twice...

    Ahum...I watched it two times...but I have a very good memory!:naughty:

    Maybe we are bad fans?

I have only watched it once - can't get peace to watch it!!

BUT - I do intend to watch it again!! :naughty:

I've watched it only for 3 times

I feel like a freak.. To my defence though I play it and then go on to do other things so I only listen to it most of the times. Now that I think about it though, I don't know if it makes things better :wink2:

  11. Aww..thanks! I understand... but anyway, how is your ticket hunting going???

Closer than ever but not close enough.. And I only have a week left  I'll think of something for sure but it's annoying not having them yet..

Whoever got the idea that one has to pay rent is a moron :sneaky2:

  12. welcome back to mfc!

it's really nice to see people posting here that haven't in a long time.

i've been here for quite a while and i don't believe i've ever met you yet!

funny how i remember at the end of his tour last year, people were saying it was the end of an era... and now it's called the new mika era!

    and i'm ready for it!

that's cause my mfc obsession comes and goes just like that. i only started posting about half a year after i joined. and by 'started posting' i mean 'spending most of my time glued to the screen'. then i went away for 3 weeks during the summer and after that i would only pop in from time to time. i guess i just needed a new era to bring me back :wink2:

At the afterparty, when Mika took the pics of him and me, Agnieszkas friend took some cool pics of him doing that.

Yes, it's all about knowing the right people :naughty:

You should put that in the tags!:wink2:

    Done :wink2:

I honestly don't think he'll be doing heaps of stadium gigs for quite a while... I really think the PdP one was a a bit of a test to see if he could fill a stadium, because it's the only one he's done...

And I don't think he's that famous to be able to do stadium gigs everywhere... I doubt he'd even do stadium gigs in London...

I guess in a great deal it depends on the new record. At times I feel like he's not really the U2 type, to go around the world and play dozens of stadium gigs and things's won't change that much. But then again, I also think that you never know..

i've watched the vlog 89 times now.

Same here, and after the 50th I started paying attention to Luke. And I must say he really is an amusing supporting act of the video :naughty:

    Lovely reading Agnieszka!

Emotional reaction...I think most of us had that more or less...:blush-anim-cl:

    Tack så mycket :original:

  13. I just finished reading the thread. I don't think I've EVER read a thread that long in one sitting. But I loved every minute :wub2:

I saw the video yesterday. My sister saw it on perez and nearly killed me when she asked me if I've seen a new Mika video with new Mika music. I inhaled a large sip of tea. Not very nice. More like near death experience :boxed:

I was so surprised at how emotional my reaction was. She had to hold my hand because I started crying. How embarassing it that?? It's just that I felt this huge relief. For me, it'd probably be better if the new record wasn't very successful. I'm teriffied at the thought of stadium gigs, sold out tickets and huge queues. BUT as a result of being his fan for nearly two years, I really care and I really wish him all the best. His succes would make my life harder but it would also make me very very happy. And having heard the bits of new songs I'm not as stressed out as I used to be. Also, I loved seeing him so happy and excited..

It also feels great to be here on MFC again. Seeing all of you reacting the same way as I did, well it made me feel sane again. And I'm seeing so many new people and I'm like when did that happen? I'm back, I'm so back. I nearly forgot how great and funny and sweet you all are. I kept laughing like a mental person while reading the thread. I love MFC :blush-anim-cl:

About the music. I love what he did with Rain. I liked it before because I kinda felt it had potential. Now I love it. I played the video couple of times in the morning and then people I share house with kept singing it not knowing what it is :naughty: It's gonna be a hit!

The choir sounds phenomenal. And when I read the lyrics, it just killed me. The atmosphere of the music combined with 'when you're young and you want some'.. I mean, no one does Mika like Mika :naughty:

I think it was Caz who said 400 pages ago that it feels like a New Mika Era. Well, it certainly does for me.. And I've got a feeling it's gonna be great. Living in London, no longer beeing a student who's broke most of the times, that's gonna make things just a little bit easier.. Just give me some dates!!

  14. ticketmaster seemed to have made a mistake and announced a gig date in dublin and quickly removed it.

we are all waiting for more details at the moment.:thumb_yello:

oh, ok. thank you for clearing that up for me. that was quick :biggrin2:

No, I think Team Mika have stepped in and got them to remove it, they weren't supposed to announce anything yet.:wink2:

    Heehe.. Yet?

I'm currently reading the Go to Mikasounds thread. I've been reading it for like 3 hours now. And I saw babs mentioning the gig and i was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????????? A GIG??????

So hearing the new music and feeling all the excitement here, being back here on the MFC, well it all just feels GOOD. Plus that 'yet'... :wink2::naughty:

    I love MFC.. I love Mika.. :wub2:

  15. hey mel! how do i send over the completed pages?

anways here's some of the pages i re-sized to a smaller size:

    page15poetryq.jpg

    page1poetryq.jpg

    page2poetryq.jpg

    page5poetryq.jpg

    this is amazing! so nice!

my sister is sitting next to me and told me to let you know that being a non-mikafan, so as objective as a person can be, she loves the pages :naughty:

  16. so great! congratulations!

btw cool location! (from custom title)

    Hehe, thanks!

First time i won anything, all of my neighbours could hear me screaming :blush-anim-cl:

I'm proud of you! You won't regret having bought all their records and I'm actually a little jealous that you have all of that amazing music to discover.

For anyone that wants to see these, here are some videos from the show. My favorite performances! Looks like I was one of the only ones that recorded Neon Tiger, though.

    Spaceman:

    Sam's Town:

All These Things That I've Done:

Tons of other video here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=killers+and+chicago&aq=f

Funny, I was talking the other day with my sister and I said that there's this girl who just bought all of TK records, and how great it must be to discover all of the music for the first time :wub2:

In fact yesterday I found a song I didn't know, it's an Itunes bonus. It's called Tidal Wave, here's the link:

    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=GTYZMWdPDpg

It was exciting to be able to hear sth new, I thought I'd have to wait until the next album..

Oh, and thanks a lot for the links!! Will watch them in a second :biggrin2:

Ooh, that's great! I hope you can get tix now!

Me too, can't wait to have them lying safely on my shelf...

March 12th in Amsterdam, it was sold it within minutes but my friend got up early to be absolutely ready when they went on sale!

Killers tix are surely the best thing to spend that 100 quid on

I know right! :naughty: And congrats on that friend :wink2:

I got tix to two more shows in May...one is general admission and the other is seated. This summer will be a good one for concerts...

A little part if me is just a little bit jealous but mostly I'm really really happy for you :biggrin2:

  17. Hey, I'm now officially a big Killers fan.

    The Spaceman video is amazing

I wanted to go and see them when they come to Cardiff but I think all the tickets are sold out now:thumbdown:

Same here... When London tickets went on sale they were sold out before I managed to type my surname

I checked ebay for Cardiff tickets, here's what they've got:

    http://tickets.shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=the+killers+cardiff&_sacat=11730

They're at least twice as expensive of course.. :boxed:

I'm so looking forward to the Killers gig after reading your report mandi!! And I already know I NEED such an 'I got soul' tshirt aswell :thumb_yello::thumb_yello:

When are you seeing them babz?

And about my London gigs, there's a light in the tunnel! I won 100 pounds on the Capital Radio today! :biggrin2:

I didn't win the tickets but guess what I'm gonna spend that money on :naughty:

  18. Ummmm....what are you waiting for, lady??? I command you to go out and buy all of their records ASAP! :)

lol yeah that video is certainly unusual! Very tongue in cheek!

Yes, they opened with Spaceman. I was so glad that they did, as that's been my favorite track from D&A ever since I heard it. I recorded some of that performance, so I can try to get it on youtube for you to see it!

The performance of ST is absolutely amazing! I love the other version, but I'm glad they did the second version too. I can't stop watching the video I got of it.

I remembered a few other slight disappointments. I wasn't too crazy that they performed Shadowplay in the encore. I really love their version of the song, but as soon as they began playing it I was sitting their wondering why they chose to do that one in the encore. They have performed that song in the past, but it wasn't in the encore if memory serves me right. I think the disappointment was also bc I was figuring out they weren't going to do Bones. :P lol

Also I was kind sad to see that the placement of All These Things That I've Done was pushed forward, instead of being the last song of the night. I guess I haven't made gotten used to that transition yet. haha

That's my favorite part of Neon Tiger too!! I specifically recorded that part, cos I love that part so much. :D I'm sorry you cried!! I have my fingers crossed for you, I honestly do! I hope you will get to see them all the times you want to.

Keep us posted on your progress with that ok?

Thanks a lot! I will.. I probably should've kept that crying part to myself, sounds as if i was mental :naughty:

But i'm sure you get it. I love Mika and all the wonderful sillyness of Mika World. I also like lots of different musicians. But eversince I saw The Killers for the first time, in Poland in 2005, they're my number one. And it's so frustrating that it gets harder and harder for me to see them. ugh..

It'd be great if you could upload your vids and post the links. I'd love to see them!

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed to see they're not playing Sweet Talk. I was so happy they played it at the RAH gig, thought it meant they made it a part of the regular show. I'd love to hear it live. Could easily trade it for Shadowplay...

Btw, what kind of ticket did you have? Sitting or standing? I'm wondering which one to search for.. Obviously standing one would be perfect but the gigs are on Monday and Tuesday, working days are not the best for queueing. On the other hand, sitting ones are cheaper and it has to be nice not having to queue. To be honest, I've never had a sitting ticket so I'm wondering.

Hi everyone :bye: one more The Killers fan here

never seen this thread before, so I have a lot of catching up to do

thanks for the report mandi, sounds great, and good luck to you agnieszka with tickets

Hi! Welcome! :biggrin2: And thanks a lot! :)

  19. Okay, so here is my report of the concert....

My brother and I got to the concert fairly early. The opening band had not begun yet, so I went to the merch to see what they had. I got a poster and a purple shirt that says "I Got Soul" on the front and "But I'm Not a Soldier" on the back of it. I love it.

The band came on a little after 8pm. We were all pumped up to see them when we saw a huge countdown on a large screen behind the stage. All the guys came out and Spaceman began! I LOVE that they used this song as their opener...what a thrill that was, especially since it's one of my favorite tracks from D&A.

Here is the setlist, in case anyone wants to see it:

    1. Spaceman

    2. Losing Touch

    3. For Reasons Unknown

    4. Somebody Told Me

    11. Neon Tiger

    12. Human

    13. Sam’s Town

    Encore:

    17. The World We Live In

    18. Shadowplay (Joy Division cover)

    19. Jenny Was a Friend of Mine

    20. When You Were Young

My biggest highlights of the evening:

    - Somebody Told Me - This one is usually the song that always gets the crowd jumping! My brother went into this show only knowing this song and he wasn't a fan...but even he cheered and got into this performance. It was nice.

    - Neon Tiger - all I can say is....WOW...I mean, their performance of this song really blew me away and completely rocked my socks...LOL!! I loved all of it and was glad that I recorded it! The huge tiger skin sheet behind the guys while they played was such a nice touch. Really gave me chills.

    - Sam's Town - the performance of ST wasn't what it usually is...this version started out with Brandon playing the piano on his own and then as it progressed the guys joined in playing with him and eventually a violinist played at the very end! It was absolutely stunning. Although I missed the studio version, I have to say I loved this version. It'll be interesting to see it done again.

    - All These Things That I've Done - Gah...can't describe the excitement I feel in singing "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier" along with Brandon. There's something extremely powerful about that song and I always look forward to hearing this one live.

The only thing that let me down was the fact that Bones has been cut from the setlist. *sigh* I love that song live...my heart dropped when Brandon told us they were doing one more song and then When You Were Young began to play. lol I love me some Bones live, my friends.

My brother and I waited for the guys to come out, but we eventually had to leave because of the weather (I couldn't feel my feet) and because Evan and I had a six hour drive early the next morning. I was disappointed to miss out on meeting them again, but since there was a chance I wouldn't meet them if I waited I decided it was better to go. There's always next time...

They opened with Spaceman????? Spaceman is my fav from D&A :mf_lustslow:

Have you seen the video? it's soooo great and weird..

They played ST with Brandon on the piano????

When I got to the part about Neon Tiger i lost it and started crying. :boxed:

I think it's the one i can't wait to hear live most. The part starting with "I don't wanna be kept, i don't wanna be caged" gives me chills EVERY time i hear it, i can't even imagine how it will sound live :insane:

I'm now in a state of constant panic. Capital Radio is giving away tickets today and tomorrow and i'm now waiting for Somebody Told Me to be played to call them. I'm planning to see both London gigs. I'd also like to see them in Germany in March. But dunno about that yet. But i have to manage somehow to see them here in London. i simply cannot imagine spending the evening at home knowing they're playing in the same city...

Ok, i should go and focus, the tickets won't win themselves :naughty: Though the chances are slim to none, the lines are busy all the time.. But who knows.

Thanks again for your report, i loved it!

And I almost forgot, that shirt sounds lovely!

Ok, it's ridiculous. My sister called when the song just before STM was finishing and the lines were already busy. I dialed the second STM started and it was the same. Jeeeez...

Anyway, here's the video in case you haven't seen it:

And now i'm waiting for Spaceman, fingers crossed :)

I'm slowly but surely getting into The Killers. I think I first became interested in them a year ago when someone told that Rufus Wainwright's Tulsa was about Brandon Flowers. Then I saw Perez interviewing them live at the EMA's and saw their performance on YouTube the following day.

I have passed by their new album sooo many times in music shops, thinking I should buy it but never had the courage because I wasn't sure if I'd like more than just one song, Human. And now that I have been youtubing them for a while... I think I need to buy all their albums!

Make sure you do! And don't forget about Sawdust, there're some good songs there. Sweet Talk :wub2:

  20. I've totally gone "deer in the headlights" over what I wrote. It's been so many months. I'd probably edit it to death if I got my hands on it again. So glad it's out of my hands because my stuff is always better than I think it is, but I always think it should be BETTER, y'know?

I'm so excited to see how this all turns out! :punk:

I know! i only write essays, a blog and lots of e-mails but every time i read something i wrote a day or a year earlier i feel like there's million things i'd change..

i read your text and loved it! and the design of the pages looks brilliant!

cant wait to read the finished book!!

    really? thank you..

same here, seeing some of the pages got me even more excited about the book. it's gonna have the best spot on my bookshelf :das:

    can't wait :naughty:
