  1. The part about the worlds existing simultaneously is the part I have a hard time explaining. It makes perfect sense in my mind. I guess it has to do with creativity too. You have to be able to think abstractly to kind of see where I'm going with it. I'm just trying to say that the past is there right now. It happened, and right now it's the past. Right now, the future is the future...we're just not there yet. Agh, it's so hard!
  2. When I was in line to get tickets, the lady in front of me was like "So, I hear that the balcony feels really shaky when everyone's on it." And the guy selling the tickets was like "Oh, well it is really old..." Yeah, way to reassure everyone it's ok to sit there!! Whatever, I just want to see Mika, so I'll sit there anyways. Yeah, gimme a shout out!! I'd just look around and be like "Hey everyone...that would be me. FYI." Haha but yeah, I've fallen off my chair before. I was standing on my seat at Game 7 of the ALCS this year (Red Sox beat the Indians). I was in the last row of the grandstand so the only people behind me were standing up and could see over me, so I figured why not stand? And when Coco Crisp made the final catch, we all freaked out and went crazy, so I was jumping around and I fell off my chair. It was hilarious because I just kept celebrating. And earlier in the night, before the game, I had said that my little Dustin Pedroia was going to hit a homerun. So my dad and I made a bet that if Dustin hit a homer, I wasn't going to school the next day and if he didn't, I'd give my dad 20 bucks. Sure enough, a few innings into the game Pedroia went yard and I was jumping all over my dad (still standing on my seat) and I almost fell off then too. .....P.S. I still had to go to school the next day because my dad was like "I LIED! YOU'RE GOING TO SCHOOL!"
  3. Well, this is extremely random, but I just got into a discussion with my friend about the concept of "time." It was like a half-argument, half-discussion. What do you guys think time is? I was asked what time is in Humanities class, and that's what brought this up. When my teacher asked me the question, I thought about the book "Slaughterhouse Five" by Kurt Vonnegut (I don't know how many of you guys have read it, but it's a good book). Well, in the story, there are aliens who know the "truth" about time, and it is hard for the human to wrap his mind around the concept. I kind of understand what they say about time, and I think it makes some sense. It's hard to explain over the internet, but I'll give it a shot. So time is everything that's ever happened, everything happening now, and everything that's going to happen, right? Well, the theory brought up is that there are three worlds - past, present, and future. The worlds aren't really like other planets or anything, but they're kind of just figurative. But we, of course, live in the present, there are people who live in the past world, and people who live in the future world. All of the worlds are existing simultaneously. So the past is happening right now, as is the future. And we could never exist in one of those worlds even if we were able to time travel, because once you got there, you would refer to it as "now," which indicates the present tense. I don't know...it's really weird. You probably did not follow that at ALL. But what do you guys think? Make any sense at all?....or do I just need to go to bed? Just thought I'd open up a discussion for those of you who are insanely bored and have nothing better to do, like me.
  4. Hahahahaha I think I'd pass on the Divacup. Lmao, I'd never "wash and reinsert" anything.
  5. Hm...I've never tried yoga when I have cramps. Maybe I'll do that next month.. Ususally I just eat Advil like Skittles and curl up in a ball on the couch with a comfy blanket and maybe a good movie to make me forget about it. But I think curling up helps the pain.
  6. We're supposed to get 9-12 inches starting at midnight tonight. I hope we don't. I don't want to shovel....
  7. Hello America. How is everyone on this fine evening? I have a snow day tomorrow, so I'm doing just dandy. What confuses me is that it hasn't even started snowing yet....That's a first in Boston.
  8. Haha I would love to sit in those seats. They look pretty awesome. My seats are 2nd row up top, so I'm right on the edge pretty much anyway, haha. I (probably) won't fall off though....unless I get a little bit crazy during Love Today or something...Which is highly possible. Haha you'd lay on the stage and Mika would just be staring at you. You'd be like "Oh God...Oh God..." Haha I'd be like "I know her! That is AWESOME!" (Only if you're not hurt of course )
  9. Whaaaat? Those look like amazing seats! I don't see where the obstruction comes from. The people in front of you maybe?
  10. I did the same thing about a week ago and it showed me balcony row W. I was pretty pleased. But now that you said that I tried it again and it gave me row LL!!! I hate you, Ticketmaster.
  11. I love the heat. I love swimming days. Only in a pool though, because I'm pretty much scared of the ocean. I hate it. It's too deep, you never know what's under you. *shudders* Fish are like my worst fear. Nevertheless. I'm going to bed. It's 11:40 and I have to be up at 6(ish...depending on how many times I hit the snooze) for school in the morning. Joy!
  12. Well, I'm all for a trip to Best Buy to touch everything. And then a trip to the art store to play. Then again throw me in Best Buy for a few days and I'm entertained. I touch EVERYTHING. I can't walk into that store without going to the speaker section and playing with the speakers and subs and turning the volume all the way up. Also I look at every movie and CD they have. And then play some video games or something. I love when they have Guitar Hero or Rock Band, hahaha.
  13. Awful dry heat?! Dry heat is so much better than humidity! I'd love it to be 90 and dry here. Instead we just get sticky hot in the summer. Ugh.
  14. Haha well if worse comes to worst, we can just go to Best Buy and snag one of those TVs... ....and then play in the art store. I MEAN!.......
  15. Yeah, I don't think I'd be able to live there. The only thing I'd do is ski...but I still wouldn't know what to do without my city right around the corner. Not to mention you get about 72 feet of snow a week...
  16. I actually see it the other way. I mean, I like Jim Carrey but I think he's the lucky one. He got to make a movie with one of the biggest baddest hockey players around! I'd kill to do that. Yeah, any takers? Who's bringing the TV? *tumbleweed*
  17. Shorts? I wouldn't stretch it quite that far yet. It is still January afterall... Haha
  18. Last week it was below zero while I was waiting for the bus in the morning. Way to start off right after vacation, huh? It was surprisingly warm here today, though. It was about 50! I think it's going to be close to 60 tomorrow or Wednesday! I'm excited for that too. So hey, there's always hope for warm weather on Feb. 1st. Boston's weather is always weird. They say "If you don't like the weather in New England...wait a minute." Haha it's really true though.
  19. Yeah, it's so cool. And it's all for charity too, so I'm helping out a good cause. Cam Neely is one of the Bruins greats. He played for the B's from '86 - '96. And he also appeared in "Dumb and Dumber" as Seabass. Ah crap! I forgot we need a TV! Hm, who can bring it? Who's cool enough for us?
  20. I'm pretty good, thanks. I know, 25 days!! I'm getting way excited.
  21. I'm great thanks. Sorry, I asked how everyone was and then got caught up watching American Gladiators. And what would you consider to be one of the best movies ever made?
  22. Yeah, I looked I think on iTunes or something and Mika was listed as "Underground Rap." It got a good laugh out of me. Because I looked at a picture of him in a costume and I said "Oh yeah, he's got a little gangster in him...definitely." Haha I've been into the Bruins since I can remember! I've been playing hockey since I was 5 so I've been going to games since about that time. I've been watching the Bruins since before then too. I don't remember ever not watching them. So the Wives' Carnival is so much fun for me. I look up to these guys. Getting to meet them and talk to them just as normal people and have normal conversation with them is like a dream come true. I got to meet a ton of them today. I met Cam Neely today too. That was awesome. I actually have DDR for Playstation 2. Haha I think I got it as a present. I never play it.
  23. Well I'm gonna stay away from the fake blood. You can be sure I won't be taking pictures with that stuff! I'd be laid out on the floor. You feel like that every time you get nervous? Eesh, I'd be nervous about getting nervous! I hope I don't faint at the concert either! Haha I doubt I will though...unless Mika ends up changing his concert around to include fake blood and stuff like that. I sure hope he doesn't! Haha actually, I did beat him at DDR. I was like "Do they have anything easier than beginner?" And he was like "nope, but we're in the same boat here." So he put it on an easy song and he got all into it and everything and I just laughed the whole time. My friend took a video and like every 3 seconds I just burst out laughing. He was so cute, whenever he jumped he did it really dramatically. Maybe I'll put the video on YouTube...
