I've done my critical path networks, and all that's left to do is write something that'll convince my teachers that my diagram makes sense..lol I can't believe the year is more than half-way through already! 11 weeks 'till I graduate. The thought makes me nervous!

Yeah, OP is the big one at the moment. Our school doesn't calculate prediction OPs, so I have no idea how I'm gonna go with this. The course is in NSW, so they've specified I need a UAI of around 90. Which is about an OP 6 or 7. I'm hoping I do well enough on the questionairre to be invited for an interview. Apparently there's only about 25 places in the course. Better get to work!

Ah, don't worry... it seems that almost every man and his dog like to post stupid or derogatory comments about others on the internet, just because they have a phone line, a keyboard and fingers, plus a monitor to hide behind. It wasn't that bad applying for the course online, and for most courses is as easy as you described, but some highly sought after courses have an interview process, such as medicine and the like, and this one, being a scholarship has a questionnaire. I feel for those who have to write an essay for their application, though!

Don't worry, Tegan, they're just the iTunes promo clips. They're exactly the same as the ones I recorded from that, and in the exact same order. I reckon this guy is just talking himself up by saying he got them from the record company. =]

I'd like nothing more than a mac right now, but the fact of the matter is that I'm povo...lol If they were 30 second snippets of each song, then that's the previews that were available to listen when you pre order the album on iTunes. =] *Edit*- I checked it out, they are the iTunes samples. The funniest thing is, that the guy who uploaded them is claiming that he got them from the record company/Mika himself. Some people will do anything for attention...lol In other news, I put in the first part of my uni application today. =D Now I just have to fill out the questionnaire. I'm gonna take my time with that though, since my answers should probably be somewhat thought through, rather than something along the lines of "I decided to apply for this course because computers are shiny, and I like shiny things..." It does occasionally take some time for me to articulate what I'm trying to say, so I can see more than a few drafts before I get anywhere near a final copy...

Me neither. That's why I've only filmed my BS work. =P Yeah, we were all just temporarily stunned by the speed of the new server... I do recall seeing someone before, when the upload/download thing first caught my eye... If it'll make you feel better, I'll go download a heap of stuff...lol

Something like that... Actually, I did start filming yesterday, with my 'blue screen'. The only problem with this is that my 10yo sister obviously didn't understand what I meant when I asked her if she could see any of the wall through the camera. So now I have to crop all my clips, or the editor will leave a nice grey border around all my chroma key shots...lol Yeah, I know what you mean... I don't really remember downloading that much stuff...lol Or afternoon...

Thanks! I bet yours will be awesome too! I'd continue filming, but it's getting dark, and my makeshift bluescreen (a blue sheet taped to a wall outside) needs plenty of light to work properly. And I don't have enough lamps to ensure that there'd be no shadows...lol

No probs. I've Pm'd you. =] In other news, I did my first Chroma Key today! (Chroma key is pretty much a green [or in my case, blue] screen effect with video editing) It was pretty crappy, and involved a minute version of my mother dancing on top of my piano, but hey, it can only get better! =D

The forum was down because they were changing over to a new server. This one is supposed to be just for our forum, will run alot faster and crash less when we have an influx of members online at once. =] I ever expected him to have the song available for us to download and use, but I've ripped the track from the video for use in the vid. Ah, it shouldn't. I'm in Townsville, and being there hasn't ever affected anyone I know in the way of concert tickets... Awesome! My friend said she heard it on the radio too! Also,I got home yesterday and mum called me to tell me that Mika was on TV this morning. She was a little taken back when I told her I already knew of and had seen the footage...
