  1. Don't worry, the boob joke was a long running joke we have here. :wink2:

I don't know if you already know, but Mika has a thing for cleavages.

I had stumbled upon some comments and asked about that ages ago when I first joined but didn't really get any details.

No I didn't know Mika had a thing for cleavages! *makes mental note to make a cool avatar which discretely shows off cleavage*

    Mine are pretty big :D

  2. So if we tease our hair up our boobs will look smaller? Flat hair when Mika comes everyone!! FLAT HAIR! :naughty:

I think that if I teased my hair up my boobs would still look big but in addition my hair would look stupid, but maybe big hair would make me stand out amongst all the other big boobed girls with flat hair

Chickadee, yes he knows its mine, but he doesn't go into DD's room lol.

  3. The Asperger's genes? Yeah (hope there wasn't another I missed)

A friend sent me a Mika tour poster (like the one in your sig) as a secret santa gift (pretty awesome hey, and its someone i have never met!!!)

Anyway I had it right up the top of my wardrobe in the most secure location I could find.

I just found it on my bedroom floor covered in Sticky Christmas Labels!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARRGHHH!!!!

Cause they had just been stuck on I was able to get most of them off with out damage.

I felt that hanging it on the wall would be pushing it too far with DH but I just had a great idea, if I hang it in DD11's room I can go in and look at it and DH wont get jealous :D

(so crazy that here I am in my 30's with less freedom than I had as a child - is it supposed to be like that)

I WANT MY OWN BEDROOM AGAIN!!!!

  4. Morning, I am stuck here this morning unless I want to drive to DH's work, cause he has my handbag in his car  I am hoping that was an accident!

Doesn't matter, I just cleaned out his account to pay a $900 electricity bill :naughty:

And PMSL cause I am supposed to take DS 8 for a bloodtest, and now he can do it when he gets home - he won't like that, but at least he won't have to entertain DD2 at the same time (as I would have to)

    ...

Am I calling us autistic, well I suppose I was but I don't believe that, I was told by dr that she thinks everyone has Asperger's to some extent though, just for most of us its not enough to be an issue.

I also found out the other day that one of the big differences between asperger's and autism (as well as others of course) is that with Asperger's there is no learning delay.

So lets just say its the Asperger's in us then.

  5. My DS 16 has just had to submit all his subjects for Yr 11 next year.

He is so annoyed that religion is compulsory and taking up one of his units.

    He is doing

English Advanced, Mathematics (3 units), Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and Religion.

He wanted to do Agriculture as well but then he has too many units.

  6. Oh my god, a lady bird would have been soooo cute! I got this one a while ago: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/disney-mickey-mp3-player-from-iriver-more-photos/

(Although, because I am a cheapskate, I got a dodgy replica-type off ebay and it's pretty ... dodgy)

Okay so I tried to multi quote but I just ended up with this one

That is cute, am I weird or do others think it looks sort of rude from some angles :blush-anim-cl:like testicles that have fallen out of a nut sack

Now to remember what I wanted to quote without going back through all the pages.

Ummmmm, yeah funny about the high rate of Autism lol. maybe forums attract semi autistic mums cause we are not comfortable with face to face contact as much as cyber friends. Our kids must have a little of us in them.

Oh I remember... my sig causing DH's jealousy to be worse, well I try not to let him see me here at all (hence me shutting my window constantly and re logging in rather than staying here)

Well if he is gonna be jealous and think the worst anyway I may as well just indulge :naughty:

    Damn... Sprung

  7. Attention! I may be replying to you even if I didn't quote you

I thought I better say something unless people skip down to see responses to their own posts. Maybe I should try to use that multi quote button, but can't be bothered searching back now.

Autism.. DS was only formally diagnosed earlier this year at age 8

At 3 he was still not talking and I was put on a merry go round of dr visits speech therapy etc, so although not assessed or diagnosed earlier, his behaviour has been documented the whole way along.

Liking Mika it was Grace Kelly that caught my attention with a bang too. And when I saw heard lollipop I instantly loved it, and especially cause DS5 and DD2 loved it too.

Funny, when I first heard Love Today I really didn't like it, but now its one of my favourites. I LOVE stuck in the middle. Oh who am I kidding I can't pick one I love all of them.

MSN I must avoid the temptation. It makes me neglect my kids and drives DH mad, he thinks I am chatting to men and gonna run off  and even if he sees me here he gets jealous of Mika :naughty: I do love Mika a little too much though :wub2:

  8. Does he play anything? And how does he go with your violin practice? (or do you do that while he's away at school?)

He hates it, we shut the doors and that usually makes it quiet enough.

    There's a conference coming up in Canberra?

*wonders if she just hasn't checked her emails lately or if she's been sooo into MFC that she's been neglectful:thumbdown:*

"Teaching Sytrategies & Behaviour Support, Autism/ Asperger's Syndrome"

    Mon 11th August, 9 - 3.

Its by Sue Larkey, $95 includes lunch and morning tea. Its at the Ainslie Football Club.

It says there is a special rate for qualifying parents - not sure if I qualify though.

  9. I know, I know, the are the most adorable creatures in the world. I am going to be extremely sad if something happens and I don't now get to have them :crybaby: I NEED ducklings! NEED! I just don't see how I have lived my life thus far without them

Something will happen to them though, they will turn into huge ducks and drakes!!!

We had ducklings, after a few months the kids were too scared to go into the backyard :naughty: they were both drakes though.

We have a duck now, she is pretty cool, love their feet. Eggs are fantastic in cooking.

They do huge yucky squirty poos though, but at least they don't scratch out all the dirt from the base of your plants like hens. I give her clean water and in less than 10 minutes she has turned the whole lot to mud

  10. Funny, that insane repetitive stuff they have on video games doesn't seem to worry him most of the time (as long as he is the one playing).

I am actually tearing my hair out with him at the moment, there is conference in Canberra on th 11th, I am going with his school teacher (and DH if i can convince him and find babysitter) to try and get some more direction.

  11. Well you'll be the only one here who has :roftl:

Well its screwed on right as in keeping things in perspective, and being an honest and reasonable person.

I am a little bit unconventional though.

My DS 16 is taller than me, no one believes he is my son, he dresses and acts older than me

I have a sense of humour :thumb_yello: I am the strangest blend of shy and show off.

  12. Wow, I finally managedto find my post (is there an easy way to find your last post in a thread?) and read replies.

Its true DS hates music, not a big talker, never sings, has never learned a nursery rhyme or anything. He likes making noise, but if he's not making the noise he holds his ears. I can put music on quietly and sneak the volume up but as soon as it starts to irritate him its zero tolerance and he has a meltdown.

He particularly hates Mika, but that may be just cause we all love it and try to play it so often, he has just got to hear the first few beats of lollipop and he implodes.
