    I feel I need to make a really clear point of saying my response to Sweet Knees yesterday was not rude. :roftl:I really can't believe anyone would think that was.. Oooh please.. Life must be sooo kind to some. You should hear me when I'm in business-mode :rolls_eyes:

    Anyway.. It was simply straight to the point about what she was asking. If I haven't made it clear enough then I will yet again. AMF is about formed friendships. We created it as a safe haven to go to and breathe. I don't invite someone I have barely spoken to into my house and say "here, feel free to look around" so I won't be doing it on our special little private forum either. If sweet knees wants to be friends with us then it's not much for us to ask in return that she makes an effort to be friends with us. I can't force her to be here and post. And I can't just pull friendly feelings out of my ass. I have no idea who she is, I don't need to know personal details, I'd just like for her to be more regular here with all of us. It applies to everyone who wants to join AMF.

     

    We have denied other MFCers in the past because they didn't associate enough with the Aussies and have asked them to make more of an attempt. This is no different except you're all hearing/reading about it.

     

     

    Well I can understand completely, and wasn't offended.

    Of course its not nice being excluded but when you finally trust me I will be very relieved that I too share in the protection of the strict entry standards. I am very hard to offend, don't worry I have my head screwed on right.

    Hello hello.

     

    I want to get to know some of my fellow aussies. Its so hard cause with limited time I feel lost in the huuuuge threads here.

     

    I am in Goulburn NSW, I have no IRL friends who appreciate my Mika obsession and my DH, well I am treading on thin ice there PMSL

     

    I can't do MSN style chatting cause it takes too much of my attention from my kids and housework.

     

    Is there more of a Aussie only fan club anywhere?

     

    Hello hello! First things first, I don't understand any of your acronyms

    Second things second, omg Kelz, what you said about AMF came across really rude. Sure you can join AMF, but it's not really a chatty place like this thread, it's kind of like ... random extensions of injokes and stuff, and not really about Mika at all. I don't go there really anyway, it's nice here in this thread

    Acronyms, let me see... DH - darling (or dearest) husband, but mostly dick head PMSL (oh PMSL - pi$$ myself laughing)) IRL -in real life, Okay well I suppose I just need to make more of an effort here then :wink2:

     

    Oh and DD, and DS are darling son and darling daughter with thier age after, and I don't think I used it but I do all the time, ROFL - roll on the floor laughing.

    Oh, I think you can be totally obsessed with Mika without being a huge poster.

     

    I started playing the violin when I was about about 10 but stopped after a couple of years, I couldn't really get comfortable with it. I started playing again now that my daughter is in lessons and its just so much easier this time round (I think one prob was that I had a full size one and it was too big for me back then)

     

    I like lots of music, but Mika is the only one I just can't get enough of.

     

    I need to go again now cause DS16 is going on a camp and I have to help prepare then drop him there. I had to wake DD 2 up from her nap to pick them up from school and now she is cranky. DD 12 is bugging me to get off the computer so she can get on. DS 8 wants me for something and DS 5 is crying cause he can't get his shirt buttons undone (DS 16 is now helping him).

     

    I don't like posting anything too personal here, cause even though its in the members section, there are so many members and they really could be anyone :shocked:

     

    So am I allowed to joing the aussie site or not? I suppose I will just register and see what happens - after I sort these kids out of course :naughty:

    I'm back just did my ironing and my violin practice.

     

    I do come here a lot, at least a couple of times a week, but don't know what to post cause the conversations are swirling around and I feel lost.

     

    I have 5 kids so I am pretty busy. Kids take over the computer in school holidays and most evenings.

     

    I am very obsessed, believe me, I have Mika playing constantly (when my husband lets me) and know all the words to all his songs that are anywhere not just on the cd.

     

    Anyone who knows me IRL would be ROFL that I am trying to convince others of my obsession.

    :D my Grace - Grace Violet, is turning 2 this weekend! Three years ago I would NEVER have believed anyone who told me I was gonna have my 5th bub :blink: was the hugest shock of my life, way more shocking that my first when I was 19.

     

    I'm all done now though. Time for me to go back and pretend I am 19 but without the husband and kids ROFL (hang on, maybe I should wait till Grace starts school, too late, Mika found me :mf_lustslow: )
