  2. Awww! Well at least you get to do that! We have to do it on celebrities...... :boxed:

I think i'm alright at French, its probably the one im best at apart from Music, but i dont find it easy to talk to French people. They don't teach that side of it until A level.

we got to choose to talk about whatever we wanted, tv shows, pets, family but most people did their best friend so i decided i would too :P

Ooh what instrument do you play?? And french people always talk to fast so in oral exams i'm just sat there like :naughty:

  3.

Sheesh! Ive just done the exact same topic...... I laughed when the teacher said 'c'est jeter l'argent par les fenêtres....' about smoking because i thought it meant throwing money at the windows...... But par means out of apparently!!

I just had visions of French chain smokers chucking their chash at the windows!!!

The celebrity presentations are actually for the speaking exam........

:naughty: I'm rubbish at french, as in i am actually going to fail it :P It's terrible, but i'm getting a tutor so i can at least try and get a C :P

Ah i see, my speaking presentation is about my best friend :naughty:

  4. Hiya!!

I made a start on the French coursework... kinda dull, but at least i get to talk about my 2 favourite subjects......... (I dunno. Some guy named Mika and this other random guy called Wilko....... :mf_rosetinted: )

    :naughty:

:naughty: I've just done my last bit of french coursework :P, we don't get to choose what we talk about though, we get all the rubbish things like "am i fit and healthy"

  5. Classic weren't he/she/it?!?!

Everyone was singing that song the day after in school.....

A week later i went on holiday to Spain, and all i could hear in my head on the plane was the guy from our act saying "Something to suck on for landing sir???"....... :boxed::blink:

:naughty: i don#'t really remember it very well, just that i was traumatised LMAO :P

:naughty: oh well :P who want's to be friends with someone like that? i mean what is with their "music" if you can even call it that. Just people saying things that you can't understand because of the swearing they use after every other word lmao!

  9. Oo arr!! :naughty: I love the farmer people!! They're so cool!!!

Do they really say "Gerrof My Land??"

I guess Farnborough is close to Aldershot. Is that where a lot of the army people live?

:naughty: once on one of my buses there were some really farmer-accent people on it and i swear one of the actually say "oo arr" at one point lmao

  10. Ohhh, it were early 90s. I dont remember that much, but i always visit my godparents in Guildford and i love it there.

The only thing is, that things move so fast down there! There's definately a slower pace of life on Yorkshire.

I get it bashed out of me by other yorkshire people for being from East Yorkshire/Hull. I think its the best of the Yorkshires really!!

    oh right i see

yeaaaaah when i've gone to yorkshire it's always seemed alot slower and less busy]

in the south everyone is always rushing around everywhere :naughty:

  11. Yeah! I wanna move back!!! Now i'm a yorkshire lass. t's alright, but i loved being down south...

Farnborough was ace...... And i lived like a mile away from Jonny Wilkinson....... (although no one knew him then :bleh: )........

    :biggrin2:

my grandad lives in Yorkshire, I'm going to see him soon actually, haven't been there for over a year!

how long ago did you move??

  12. :naughty:

I have an Irish friend called Roisin and someone mis-read her name as "Raisin"! So she was known as that for a while......

:roftl: none of my friends have ever had that sort of thing happen, except once, for like a year, when i was in year 8, my (idiotic) art teacher called this girl "variety", her name was verity and every single lesson we'd say "its verity" but he just didn't get it into his head. I was not a huge fan of his. no-one was really :naughty:

  13. Gah, thats not fair, yeah, she lives round the corner from me. She has cats, and one day when she came home from school one of the cats had sat on the tap and the house flooded, so she came running up the hill to see me. :naughty:

And one of her cats is pregnant so that'll be the next thing, so yeah, I expect she'll be running up the hill again in about a months time :naughty:

aww, all my friends live like miles away! lol it takes me 20 minutes to get into town in the car, 40 on the bus so it sucks :naughty:

lmao! the cat flooded the house?! :roftl:

aww yay i love cats, i have two :D

  14. Same here. :naughty: Our I have my friend Somer round so it's pretty cool. She's basically like my sister, my friend Joe keeps calling her Spring coz her names Somer, a little while ago it was winter... :naughty:

ah, i wish i had a really close friend like that, well i do, but i moved recently so i live like an hour and a half away from them both now which sucks for me :naughty:

lool! Somer's a really pretty name, the whole spring/winter thing is quite amusing :naughty:

  15.

They're actually only half-siblings, but i just refer to them as my brother etc.

    :bleh:

I have a waaaay complicated family. Makes my head sore!

that's exactly the same with me, i say that i ahev brothers/sisters then i say that i'm an only child, people get incredibly confused with just that :P
