Hydra sounds quite fascinating! No cars? And I didn't realize Syros is that small, only 15 minutes around the whole island? So it doesn't really matter which part we stay, because it's easy to move around.

I'm looking for suitable holiday place in Greece to travel in June-July. You told me earlier about Syros. We are planning to fly to Athene and take a boat to a nice island, for example Syros.

Can you tell anything about Syros? Can you recommend any town/village there? I'm traveling with my family and kids, so we don't need any parties/clubs but beaches, a swimming pool, good food and some interesting places to visit. It would be easier to book a hotel if I knew something about the island... I have read some basic info from the internet, of course.

If you can recommend any other interesting place in Greece would love to hear it.
