I liked the song chosen for Vincent this week. He needs songs where he can go a little bit "mad" I think. It fits his style. I haven't watched the whole episode though so don't know what kind of songs generally this week. 

I had hoped Mika would stand behind Vincent because I feel the real winner is the one he puts first. It was different with Kendji, he had a huge public support.

Thanks for the summary. I feel so bad for Vincent. Who cares about what the audience says if his own coach puts him on the second place.

The article was written before the live shows and until the first live Vincent was definitely considered by the press/media and many viewers the big favorite, but after the second live the big favorite is now Lisandro Cuxi, also for his many young fans (moreover, Lisandro Cuxi has already been the finalist of the second season of The Voice Kids so he's already known), because Vincent was not saved by the public, but by Mika. And since public likes Audrey a lot, it's not sure Vincent will be the finalist.
I like Audrey, but honestly I think he deserves more of being in the finale of "The Voice". My opinion, obviously.

Totally agree with you and I wonder what will happen tomorrow. Like you said, last time the audience saved Audrey and not Vincent who (also in my opinion) is the one who deserves to be in the finale. I like him, he's very special. 

Thanks for the translations!  I think his tribute was discreet indeed because my mind still doesn't make any connection between that jacket and Manchester even it's obviously red, black and white. I asked my son who is a football enthusiastic to explain me but he had no idea what I was talking about. The reference is probably clear in the UK but also in France?

My only problem since always is that I don't find it fair to compare a band with one single voice. If you take separately each one of the Sugazz and let them compete against let's say, Lou Mai or Agathe, or Juliette, I am not sure that they would make it, and yet they are still in the competition. But this is just my opinion, I am curios to see how things will evolve during the lives 

I haven't even thought it that way to be honest... I just liked them because they all are so different and have a lot of personality and yet worked well as a group  I rarely find these contestants interesting but I liked Vincent since the beginning and hope everything goes well for him 

Mika has two of the most interesting contestants in the whole competition in his team this year, Vincent and the Sugazz. Happy to see them both in live shows, Vincent is my biggest favorite of course. 

This Harry Nilsson episode might be my favorite of these all. He has mentioned him so many times and I still had no idea Harry Nilsson wrote all these songs! I mean most of these songs are familiar to me of course, they are really famous, but didn't know they were his. Been listening to the new cover the whole day  Not as emotional as the Joni Mitchell song but so pretty. They really should do more episodes.

Another beautiful cover  Not as special and emotional as the Joni Mitchell cover but still very pretty. I think we are very lucky we have these covers while waiting for his new music.

I'm so happy that BBCRadio2 gives MIKA this opportunity to play his fav.music, and talk about the artists, and the stories behind the music!  He's really good, and it's a pure pleasure to listen to him, even I, of course not, don't jump of joy by every single song he plays  I learn something new by every episode, about the artists he presents, and about himself.  As far as I remember,  I haven't heard earlier that MIKA gets easily touched to tears, by watching movies and listening to music - in planes!   As we know, he travels a lot by planes   And his cover of  "Both sides now" is extremely beautiful, imo  I look forward to next Tuesday, when we surely will get interesting details of another fav of his, Harry Nilsson ( who had Swedish grandparents )   I suppose me, you and other oldies here at MFC might have a special joy for these radioprograms, as a big part of the music MIKA plays, are the hits, and more unknown songs, from our youth, the glorious pop-periode of the 70ies ...    

I can remember him mentioning getting teary in planes while watching films and he makes it sound so funny and so super cute of course. Looking forward to next week, the song he is doing is really pretty and I believe it fits him very well

Joni Mitchell is the most depressing music I've heard for a long time. Beautiful but sad, really too sad. That's why I love Mika's cover so much, his voice is incredibly comforting in it

I think he is 21 but you know, I'm hardly 30 myself 

I love it that also Tristan was there. Max too of course, but we see him and Curtis quite often in the studio with Mika. I can't explain why I always pay so much attention to Tristan. I guess he looks somehow so young and serious. People keep telling me he is not as young as I seem to think though! Btw, we have a special word in Finnish language for mustache like that. Our language is quite practical. 

This new cover is breath-taking, I have no words... So simple and beautiful  I just started to cry, wasn't expecting that at all. I can't stop listening to it. I had many thing to do this afternoon and I just dropped everything. "I don't care, Mika is singing".

I had no idea Carol King had composed so many songs for so many singers! Mika's cover is delightful   The hour flew by so fast , much too fast..I can't wait till the next

I agree, I really enjoyed listening to this. I wouldn't listen to Carol King songs that time of the night without Mika but combined to his stories it suddenly totally made sense. His voice is so soothing
