  1. It's not sad that you haven't given him anything yet. Haven't you given him your support by being a fan? That's a great gift in itself!
  2. I saw the first page of this thread and I saw that I had freedom to write random things about Mika. So I am... Just a little background, I, like Mika, have curly hair...I was at school this week and was sitting at a computer when I pulled a picture of Mika off the Internet. Then my teacher saw the picture and said that Mika had the same kind of hair as I do, same colour and curly like his...(except my hair isn't as short as short as his is). I was so happy about that comment...I LOVE MIKA!!!
  3. I know I have told my story of giving my gift to Mika probably a million times but on another thread I posted a picture of what I gave to him at the Kool Haus. I gave Mika a package of squishy toy body parts, in honour of the Fingertips song and he actually called them "brilliant"...with the most charming smile on his face. What do you guys think of it? Take a look...
  4. I'm still over the moon that Mika called my gift "brilliant" because he is the best person ever...in so many ways. And for someone (Christine) to hear him from the back, reckognizing my gift is so awesome! Postergirl asked me to see what I gave him so here it is...I hope that it works. Again...my gift was a package of squishy toy body parts, in honur of the Fingertips song. And don't forget that Mika thought they were "brilliant"...with that adorable smile of his on his face.
  5. Isn't it the best when he giggles/laughs? I don't know about you, but when he laughs, I can't help but so the same!
  6. I'll be more than glad to buy another package and post a picture. But since I'm I'm new to this whole MFC thing, I don't know how to upload a picture using this site. If anyone can give me instructions on how to do so, I'll be glad to put up a picture for you guys!!! Thanks again for noticing my gift!!!
  7. I know I already replied to this quote but I'm still so excited about it. After the Kool Haus concert, I was towards the back of the crowd of people, so I had to do my "excuse me's" and get myself more towards the front (still not beside Mika...tear) to hand him my gift (which were squishy toy body parts, in honour of the Fingertips song, as I said before). I said, "Mika, in honour of the Fingertips song." He took them and said something along the lines of "what are these?" and then I guess he realized what they were and he called them "brilliant"!!! He made my night with the most fabulous concert but then he went on and made my whole...life (so far) when I got to see him outside the venue and he accepted my gift!!! I was so glad to read that other fans noticed that moment because I was so pleased!!! And for the "biggest smile on his face "...isn't it so cute and contagious...when I see his smile, I can't do anything but...SMILE!!!
  8. I was actually the one who gave him the gift, but they weren't Sour Patch Kids. Let me explain... I was shopping the Monday before the concert when I saw these squishy toy body parts (a hand, eye etc) and I thought to myself, "those are for Mika" because in the "Live in Cartoon Motion" DVD he talks about the Fingertips song and how he like the idea of picking up body parts around a city and then saying it said that it was "sick". So when I got thew opportunity to give him the squishy body parts and he said they were "brilliant"...I just about died.
  9. I don't think that it really matters if you have given him gifts or not. I just thought that I'd start this thread out of curiosity and see what creative and imaginative presents fans have given to him, since I've seen/heard about some of the great stuff already. Support through buying concert tickets and travelling to see him is awesome and is always appreciated by Mika. As are his gifts as well.
  10. I do think that is enough. The gift of support by attending his concerts and buy his merchandise is actually very thoughtful. I think we can all agree here that he appreciates it so much when people attend his concerts because that's of course how he gives back to the fans in the most entertaining way and vice versa.
  11. I think that I'd have to agree with most people. It depends on the situation in which you are meeting him. But, I honestly...he's always gracious to his fans, no matter what, and he always does his best to make us happy. Even if he is sick he does try to greet the fans. I know this because I was at his concert at the Kool Haus on Tuesday (January 29) and after the show security said that Mika would only come to say "thanks" and then leave with his family, which he didn't. He actually stayed around for a couple minutes to talk to us and recieve gifts (he said mine was "brilliant").
  12. I've been around this site and have seen and heard about all the cool gifts that you guys have given to/thought about giving to Mika. The teacups, the bears...are all awesome! So what gifts have you MFCers given/thought about giving to Mika? I'll start with mine. On the "Live in Cartoon Motion" DVD, Mika talks about the Fingertips song and about how he likes the idea of picking up body parts around a city (and then goes on to say that it's "sick"). So when I was shopping I saw these toys which were squishy body parts (hand, eye etc) and I thought to myself, "these are for Mika". So after his concert at the Kool Haus on Tuesday (January 29), Mika came to greet all of his fans (sadly none of us got to take pictures or get autographs as he had a sore throat...get well soon Mika!) but he did take the liberty of accepting gifts from us fans. So when I got the chance to reach over (since I wasn't so close to him...tear) and hand him my gift, saying , "In honur of the Fingertips song!". Then he took them and he called them "brilliant". (If any of you were there, you may remember that.) I just about died! So go ahead...and tell your story!
  13. MIKA can be a very cool guy, if only he behaves more naturallywhile doing the chicken dance. When it's raining Mika puts on his favourite wellies, which have embroidered ducks on them, and dances with a flock of chickens in his beautifully decorated, amazingly blue and full with glitter woolly cardigans, while the people around him bow down to worship the wellies. MIKA then goes all of a sudden singing his favourite song all day because he had
  14. I still can't stop raving about the concert. Mika...that man is a animal onstage! I don't know if it's just me but, I think that Mika looks even more handsome in person. Does anyobdy have a video of Mika at the Kool Haus, after the show when he met all his fans outside? I was there but I would really, really like to see a video where I can hear what he's saying. Thanks!
  15. That cake is so awesome. Your friends are so wonderful for doing that for you. PS: Happy Birthday!
  16. I don't think that I can classify Mika as one animal or another. But more a combination of different animals. He looks like a cute bunny rabbit (for the fact that when he sings Grace Kelly he goes "mmmm..." he wrinkles his nose in the most adorable way...similar to how a bunny rabbit does). His hair would make him a lion of sorts. Finally, a monkey because of his fun, contagious and fantastic personality.
  17. As for my question, first of all would be the obvious "Can I have a hug/picture with you/autograph?" But, (I don't know if this is a stupid question...but I've always been wondering it) my question would be: "What hair product do you use because your curls are always so bouncy and wonderful?" This is because I have curly hair and I find it hard to make my hair as...I don't know...as wonderful as Mika's.
  18. Wasn't the Kool Haus gig so amazing? I think that one of my favourite parts in the concert was when Mika was at the keyboard playing "Stuck in the Middle" and he got the hiccups...he was so adorable. Also, who was that backup singer that he had onstage the whole time with him (you know the woman who wore the Vegas stlye head dress and she also wore a purple dress and heals at a different point)? Is she a friend or family or something along those lines?
  19. Just joined the MFC and I found this thread and thought it was awesome. My Canadian Mika info would involve the Kool Haus concert that he recently did on Tuesday. It was my first concert and I thought that it was amazing! Mika goes all out! Anyways, after the concert when Mika came out to greet the fans that were waiting for him...he was so sweet and kind. He talked to us like we already knew him (which we kind of do in a sense). But the thing that I can't stop thinking about is when he was taking gifts. I had brought a gift in hope that I could give it to him. Then, I saw him with some sort of gift in his hand so I thought to myself, "This will be one of my only chances...here it goes." I was towards the back of the group so I had to do a few "excuse me's" to get myself more towards the front. So I handed him my gift over the crowd of people. You know when Mika talks about the Fingertips song on the "Live in Cartoon Motion" DVD, he said he likes the idea of picking up body parts around a city...well I was shopping on Monday when I saw these squishy toy body parts (a hand, eye etc) and I thought to myself, "those are for Mika". So when he took my gift I said "In honour of the Fingertips song". He said something along the lines of "what are these" and then took another moment realizing what they were and he said that they were "brilliant". This has just made me love him even more.
  20. After the main show at the Kool Haus security said he was playing an extra set for people with people with passes. What I was wondering is how people got those passes (because I sure wanted one)?
  21. I was so happy that he actually greeted fans outside (since it was cold and he was sick)...he's so great! In the "Live in Cartoon Motion" DVD, Mika talks about the Fingertips song and how he likes the idea of picking up body parts around a city and then proceeding to say that it's sick. So Monday I was out shopping when I saw these squishy body parts (a hand, an eye etc) and I thought to myself..."Those are for Mika". So when he took the gift and said it was "brilliant", that just about made my day...not wait my life!!!
  22. Mika has been some of my firsts: my first artist that I truly adore and my first concert (at the Kool Haus...which was pretty sweet). After the conert when we were all waiting to meet him...I gave him my gift. It was in honour of the Fingertips song. He said it was BRILLIANT!
  23. I just joined the MFC and I'm trying to figure things out. I hope that this works. Anyways, all you guys are so awesome...because you love Mika of course!
