My skill in comprehending chinese is weird... i get a lot of input from family friends and my parents. haha

my father speaks mandarin and cantonese and shanghainese and shandongnese, and my mom speaks sichuanese and i can understand VERY little taiwanese because my mom grew up there.

that's okay... im not great with a lot of written chinese, but im bad with simplified too!

yep... i can read chinese... but im still pretty limited in some senses. I just dont have the proper software on my computer to type in chinese.

My chinese is pretty lacking these days. I'm fluent spoken but reading and writing is just lacking because i dont get the opportunity to use it all that much. But I speak to my parents in chinese only.... so im good there

My family and I spent the day in Central Park, and on our way out we stopped in front of the Dakota and my sister was being all dramatic and re-enacting(sp?) what happened the night John was shot, and right when she finished a car pulled up behind us, Yoko stepped out, bumped into me, and walked through the gates. I didn't realize who it was at first. haha Until my sister started freaking out. And we were all like, "Yoko, we love you!" and she turned around and blew us all a kiss and gave us the peace sign. She is tiny!! So short! haha

what a delightful experience!!

Best thing that happened??? Actually this was a week full of misery, but went to my friends birthdayparty and had some drinks. Because it was the first alcohol since about a year, I had a lot of fun:naughty: But the rest of the week is worth forgetting as soon as possible:thumbdown:

i feel as though sometimes the mfc fluctuates between extremely busy and kinda static... but i stalk the forums hahaha and try and occupy myself.. i reply to things as close to instantly as i can hahah.
