  1. Are you graduating this year or something?

Our spring break is 2 weeks long this eyar, cause it ties in with easter...yaaaay :wub2:

hahah i realize now that "last spring break ever..." sounds much more morbid and intense than it actually is haha But yea, i'm graduating in may.. and i'm somewhat ridiculously excited but mainly really really scared. I don't really know what I'm going to do right after school... :exclamation:

  2. i know... ugh, I love love sleep!

but whenever i get to school I can't sleep and it's really sad ='[ I'm always so anxious at night. my mind is at war with itself haha. But this is my last spring break ever... im kind of really scared about it.

  3. HELLO!! nothing new here... im on spring break but driving back down to school tomorrow so things are a bit bleh...

but I'm watching the Chinese news with my mom and there was just a report about a man in england who is 101 years old who plans to run a marathon... and he runs on beer rather than water haha and has 17 children... this is kind of wild.

  4. Wait a second, am I seriously behind on lesbian folklore? Wasn't Xena/Gabrielle only implied and not acted upon? Or did I miss some vital episodes?

Well, I know there was some HEAVY implications, but i don't think it was ever explicitly stated that they were lesbians. but I know there were at least two episodes where they kiss because one or the other of them dies and kissing apparently brought them back to life. My memory of the show is fairly fuzzy though...

  5. ooooooooooooooo thats so exciting!!! i am an aunt as well!!! my neices and nephew call me auntie ( pronounced anty) aimee:naughty: hehehe they like how it rhymes lol i only have 3 neices and nephews but i have many more to come since i am the youngest of 6!!! i have been an aunt since i was 7!! hahahaha

I'm kind of really jealous... i just like kids too much. LOL I'm the youngest too... but of 2 hahah so it doesn't really mean much.. since my sister is only 13 months older and she is only 21 so i dont think there will be any kids quite yet... :naughty:

  6. I agree whole heartedly with a lot that has been said.

I can't say that I am completely innocent in this topic. I definitely have proclaimed that I love gay men in the past, but I know that when I say it I definitely mean it with good intention without realizing the various repercussions. I totally agree that gay men, like all people, cannot be categorized or stereotyped. No two people are the same and we really cannot label or group gay men together in any other way than just being gay. I have too experienced sensitive, well dressed gay men, but I also know a fair share of petty, backstabbing, badly dressed, and sports loving gay men. I guess in an ideal situation, we wouldn't categorize in this sort of way but it happens all the time. I think a lot of the times straight women support gay men, and carelessly mistaken a stereotyped gay man as THE gay man archetype but i guess everyone needs to be more conscious about what they say, because most statements are ambiguous, no matter of their good intention.

  7. speaking of gay pride... it's amazing in new york city! I go whenever I can and my sister is kind of a gay socialite in the younger gay community so she's usually on a float every year. I usually cannot wake up early enough and or keep my feet moving long enough to be in the parade but it's great to watch ;D

  8. i have a confession...

so this has been on my mind forever... and i think i really need to stop lying to myself and accept that i have a major crush on this woman. I think she's beautiful and funny and intelligent and caring... and at the end of every day she's the last thing on my mind...
