  1. Hiya Guylainem!! :huglove: The real party seemed to go really well,

the one here kinda fizzled out!!! :naughty:

Crystal - that is a beautiful passage - and seems to say everything

you wanted to!! I hope this summer is everything you want it to be!! :wub2:

It totally does :) My summer will be everything I MAKE it to be :) I think I know what it is that I want to do, and all I have to do is DO IT! :))

Hows things over there on the islands?

That's on my list of places to go too, and I don't have to learn Spanish to go where you are! :)

  2. Hello all!

Are we ready for tonights session.

Ha ha, I sound like a Bingo caller.:naughty::naughty:

Session of what? Please tell me! It sounds like it might be exciting!

Our place is called the "video shack"!! :naughty:

Hiya Rose - not tired out from last night's partying? :wink2:

You have the experiences now - so you can use them to enrich your

life - and also start a new life path with the working holiday you have planned, and learning a new language is always going to be an advantage!! :thumb_yello:

My life is so enriched. I gave Pastor a card yesterday that I found in the store with such a beautiful passage in it, I will share it here with you now

"You are something - and someone - very special. You really are. No one else in this entire world is exactly like you, and there are so many beautiful things about you....

You're a one - of - a - kind treasure, uniquely here in this space and time. You are here to shine in your own wonderful way, sharing your smile in the best way you can, and remembering all the while that a little light somewhere makes a brighter light everywhere. You can - and you do - make a wonderful contribution to this world.

You have qualities within you that many people would love to have, and those who really and truly know you.. are so glad that they do. You have a big heart and a good and sensitive soul. You are gifted with thoughts and ways of seeing things that only special people know.

You know that life doesn't always play by the rules, but that in the long run, everything will work out.

You understand that you and your actions are capable of turning anything around - and that joys once lost can always be found. There is a resolve and an inner reserve of strength in you that few ever get to see. You have so many treasures within - those you're only beginning to discover, and all the ones you're already aware of.

Never forget what a treasure you are. That special person in the mirror may not always get to hear all the compliments you so sweetly deserve, but you are so worthy of such an abundance.....of friendship, joy, and love."

I thought it was so beautiful and completely said what I wanted to say. I told him that if there are words he doesn't understand to please ask me and I will translate for him.

I think that this summer when I am working at the farm that I will also attend to some inner spiritual lessons too. I want to get in better health, both physically and mentally and emotionally. I want to learn better eating habits, I want to exercise every day, I want to do some soul searching.

I'm feeling very excited about what is happening in my life right now. If nothing else, meeting these people have been a catalyst in my life to go on and try something amazing.

And you are right, knowing another language can do nothing but benefit me in my future life, whether I go to South America or not. Spanish, or forms of it, are spoken all over the world.

It feels very daunting too though, my world view has expanded so much, my expectations of myself have grown, I realize I have some bad habits I will drop, and I have some good habits I want to pick up.

I feel change in the air. Alot of change. Scary, but exciting too!

  3. Hi there - am fine thanks!! Have a quiet evening planned as both daughters

are in - and not going out :punk:

Those leaving parties sound like fun!! :wink2:

yeah ti's great, but I'm so exhausted, and I still have packing to do because I leave the dorms here on Wednesday morning :( But family is gone now, so I can concentrate on cleaning I guess.

Tomorrow my beautiful boys leave, and I'm so sad :( Trying not to be upset, but I have made such a deep spiritual connection with Pastor, it transcends simple physical attraction. so now I definately have to go visit Latin America. I've been learning alot of spanish in the last week, and the boys all say I am learning so very fast that they can't believe it :) It's amazing what MOTIVATION does for you!!! :)

    Hi Wendi, Crystal

    How's u today or anyone else who's here... :)

Good, but tired! How are you?

  4. ¡Hola Crystal! ¿Cómo estás? Me alegra que nos visites :biggrin2:

Yes, ja, je and ji are laughs, just like ha and he in English. The difference is the intensity: "ja" is a big laugh, "je" is a bit sarcastic, and "ji" is completely sarcastic or evilish if you see what I mean.

BTW, did you tell your friend from Chile what I translated for you? Just wondering...:wink2:

oh, y muy bien, gracias! (i'm still learning how to spell, too)

Hola :) I did tell him, and he thought I was very smart to find someone to teach me how to tell him what I had to tell him :)

We have become very good friends since, and he is teaching me muchos espanol!

    Quiero ir a Latino Americana

    Me gusta los hombres

Quiero ir a la playa para une fuego con los amigos, pero...llueve

  6. morning folks! Not here for long, but wanted to pop in with a quick update.

Things are getting crazy here at school. Although school is done, it's time to leave dorms for the summer. Much time has been spent sorting through crap, deciding what to take and what to store for summer, throwing stuff out, giving stuff away and general chaos.

Amongst the cleaning duties come the 'farewell' parties. Everyone leaves at different times, so there's been nothing but gatherings every day/night. And the weather has been gorgeous, so I've been going out and living it up on the beaches with friends.

Tomorrow, my beautiful boys from Chile leave for tree planting jobs for a month, then they go back to Chile, which makes me very sad, so I have been spending as much time with them as I can before they go.

I'm about to go out for breakfast with Dad, so I'll talk to you all soon

  7. It wasn't in a warehouse, that was the name of the Company, Carphone Warehouse, a big mobile phone company here.

He played at Alexandra Palace in Wood Green, North London, or the Ally Pally as it's called locally. I think they did the first ever BBC TV broadcast from there, but I might be wrong.

OOOh i see :) Still...there are big companies here in Canada he could play for! ;););)

  8. Hola :)

yo hablo un poquito espanol (still learning!)

    I have a question...

I see 'jejeje' 'jijiji' and 'jajaja' alot, I suspect it means something similar to laughing, but is there a difference between the E, A, and I? Does it mean something different when you say 'jijijiji' instead of 'jajajaja'?

  9. Robi! Hello and Ciao! :wink2: Well, I don't know if I will be here EVERY day, but I may try for a few days a week!:thumb_yello:

Ok, so I'll vote, and then do I get the Gold Star!? I REALLY want one! Do you think I'm special enough to get a Special Gold Star Honorary Oldling Status? Robi? Deb? Senior Oldling thoughts?! (Sorry!)

Hi Abby, I'm Crystal, don't think we've met yet!

  10. Yes... we've all won the lottery and are buying our own private Island and are gonna invite Mika for private performances.... just working out his fee now :roftl:

I love this idea! :) Mika Island, MFC Exclusive :) This is one of the perks of officialdom! LOL

I'm talking to myself aren't I judging from the last three posts.... lol

    *Goes away fast*

You're not here alone, I was in the shower :)

  11. i've always had BIG problems with long distance relationships....not good for one's health! :sneaky2:

    oh well

i know this is not motherlike...but GRASP THE MOMENT! :naughty:

if it comes to you....and tomorrow's another day :wink2:

(not only chicken...i'm not suggesting this, no no! but enjoy the moment, whatever it is...:blush-anim-cl: )

ha! feeling so rossella o'hara today....

I grasp every moment I can, and we're definitely not in a relationship, especially not a long distance one. I'm enjoying every second I have with him because I have no idea if I'll ever see him again in my life. Although I wish he had romantic feelings for me, I'm totally happy with a friendship. After all, love is simply a friendship caught aflame, yes? So I am the ever patient one, with no expectations, and am happy with anything I get. I feel privileged just to have gotten to know him, to experience his music, to have him re-awaken my deep soulful passionate love for music, to have him bolster my courage to sing out loud amongst groups of people (his words were "The best woman singer in Chile is ALMOST as good as you are", how can you not blush?), to have been able to attend some of his gigs(and get video and post them on her facebook for him), to feel the pure love that emanates from him. I wonder if he's an angel. I can feel his energy coming before I even see him in a crowd.

    I feel lucky.

I don't know if you can see this or not, but here is a quick vid of him singing and playing guitar around the fire. It's really dark so you can't see much, but you can hear his talent. His real talent though is the flute, of which I have a number of recordings...

Hope everyone is ok - and Crystal - maybe go for the friendship option, then

he could become your Chilean penpal!! :thumb_yello:

Totally :) we ARE friends! If anything more happens, great, but no, really, we totally ARE friends, and I'm happy for that! And when I asked him for his MSN address so we could talk when he gets back to Chile, he says "Of course Crystal! ALL for you!" *sigh* so sweet. Dangerously sweet to ALL the girls! :)

where has everybody gone, when my real life ends and i come here there is nobody, not even the fur lined clog wearer

I'm here! Although not for long, I need to go to the school soon and work on some assignments.

  12. my health has been poor because of the ^(&)*+)(+ weather :sneaky2: :sneaky2: but is better now...it was bad...even with meds .not being able to walk or do anything or even breath ! not entirely sure why my RA is back with vengeance !its made me a bit sad, combination of the sulfasalazine and the weather,,,who knows..I met one of my friends finally after 5 years ! that was so nice! she is so sweet! I am composing more themes of music...my music might be even promoted in Vietnam...(not sure how .....but I have a contact who knows alot about the classical music scene in South East Asia). ...Being learning to be more myself and relaxing and taking it easy ( insert loud singing--ooh that was spooky one of light bulbs exploded!) and taking risks!

    yay !!!!!

    and you ? what's new???

figured out what I'm doing for the summer, going to Rock Creek and staying on the property I will live on one day, and help out around the place for room/board/smokes . It'll be fantastic :)

And my best friend Gavin lives only 2 hours away which is nothing in Kootenay time :) And the beautiful Chilean boys will be living only 20 mins away from him, so he said he'll pick them up and bring them out to where I am and we'll all go camping and fishing :) I'm reaaaaaaally looking forward to spending some time with those boys without other girls around to be so distracting!! LOL
