  1. Hey :wink2:

It was so amazing !!!! My best gig for sure!

I was just behind Charlottechristy :wink2:

Crongratulations Aurelien, you're so great and professional :thumb_yello:

I will try to "make" a report in english but I need to translate so it could be long (even if it's a short report )

    So c@rin@ you found a ticket ! Great :thumb_yello:

Thanks for all your report ! We had a really great time :thumb_yello:

I am still available if you need help :wink2: ... Then you can blame the English mistakes on me :naughty: .

  2. That's the normal shape of a body that spends hours playing the piano!

It wasn't definitely a concert grand. Looks like the one they normally use for chamber music.

I do hope he wasn't hurt...

You mean, round buttocks, concave chest ? OMG, what does he play the piano with when he is not on stage :blush-anim-cl::fangurl::swoon: ?

Talking about risqué things the mark on his forehead was definitely a badly concealed love bite. No wonder the guy wants to spend half the year in France, the French are dogs ! I want a love bite on my forehead too, I've never had one :emot-sad: ... not that M's French lover is likely to oblige :roftl: . Will have to ask my partner :wink2: .

  3. I can't thank enough all the fans who posted videos, although I can't download them at the moment : I am staying at my elder son's and guess what, he doesn't have download helper in his computer !

Kids ! You think you have brought them up properly and look what you get...

To say nothing of my younger, who is still brooding because he hasn't come to terms with not being able to make it to an acoustic tour gig. Still hoping that M will give a couple of summer ones but he shouldn't hold his breath.

As I said previously I filmed over an hour of the gig but don't know if they will be good enough to be worth utubing or dailymotioning as I was using a brand new camera.

Plus I am unable to do that myself and anyway they must be edited to take off the bits I filmed for Id3 and that musn't circulate on the Internet.

When all that has been done by a friend of mine -the guy who made the Beirut Press Conference for us-, but he does have a life, poor baby, I will put them on if they are worth watching.

The meet and greet pics were brilliant too. Mica looked less tired than the night before. Probably because he now knows that he can take it easy for a few weeks before performing again.

  4. who's Aurelien?

is a member of MFC too??

I wanna read his impresion of doing that!

    he's so lucky!!

but why Mika let him that amazing opportunity to play the piano?? I mean, did Mika know that he can play the piano??

and who's Ida? is she friend of Mika like the other guy?

I want to see that little girl jumping in video!!

And who is Mika  ? Sorry, just kidding, I should hope that I will never have that veteran attitude towards a newer member, I would totally despise myself if I did.

Aurelien studies music in London, and is a staunch fan, although he doesn't post much, he belongs in the MFCer category who have a life beyond Mika.

If you want to see and hear a slightly drunk Aurelien delivering a lovely Xmas speech, utube it -or ask another MFCer for the link, it will save you time.

  5. He didn't fall there...he was being funny and every now and then, he would lift his little butt up with the beat.

Later; however, if someone downloads a blooper video, you will see a real fall. I hate to say this but, while watching Mika take a fall over and over, it was pretty darn funny. He was running around the full cirlce, tripped, face-planted, got up and kept running. Poor thing.... It was funny...wouldn't be though if it was me. And, wouldn't have been funny if he hurt himself. But, we cracked up each time we watched the footage.

Those confetti were a hazard  , so slippery they should use it for winter skiing when there isn't enough snow.

Re his fake fall and the rear end view we were then able to enjoy... he may be razor blade thin still for the first time yesterday I could actually see buttocks where there usually is a very flat area :licks_lips: .

So he must be working out but somebody ought to tell him that you are supposed to exercise your whole body at the same time or you end up being a yummy bottomed guy with a concave chest or a bumless man with huge pecs :naughty: .

Nobody has answered my previous question about the piano. Is it really a grand piano  ?

To me a grand piano is a baby grand which is in the mood. If that instrument was in the mood then it could do with a few blue lozenges :floor: !

  6. Nice report, Marie Therese! :biggrin2::wub2:You shouldn't be ashamed..

    Can't wait for the following...

Was the girl that was a good dancer yesterday in the crowd, or?...

I didn't feel embarrassed about bringing the bleeding painting but he sure was about accepting it so I'd rather let water run under the bridge before approaching him again, then he may think of me as the blond, persistent, midget instead of the girl with the stupid painting from her silly mother.

Although a compulsive giver I enjoy receiving as well so I might suggest to him hiring me to receive his presents -you know, kings used to have tasters, why shouldn't :king: Mica have a receiver ?

  7. Nice report, Marie Therese! :biggrin2::wub2: You shouldn't be ashamed..

    Can't wait for the following...

Was the girl that was a good dancer yesterday in the crowd, or?...

The little girl was on both occasions standing to the left ot the rink and she was... you knwo, when you are in a club, letting yourself go and having the time of your life and then your eye is caught by somebody who dances so well that you stop to watch them ? Well, she was that person on June 11th -yesterday she was the same side as me so i didn't have such a good view on her performance-.

What she did on stage was far less stunning than what she did the day before -probably paralysed, poor baby, let's hope she hasn't got a weak heart or she will be the first M gig casualty !- but she still was good.

  8. yeah:lmao:

mika:"gee! i just ****ed up that last note. i should fell on my face to distract them! man am i a genius or what"

    :naughty:

Stop being sarcastic -look who's talking...- !

Those silver papers were awfully slippery, I walked on them to avoid disturbing my next seat neighbours when I went to mingle with other MFCers and nearly fell myself. And I wasn't running, he was.

  9. Well we havent got any report yet, have we?

I'm ready and waiting for news to arrive before opening that thread ;)

You can stop waiting, I have just posted a report, don't know where... I think on the thread where we said whether we were going to attend the show or not... I am sure you can pick it up and put it in the report, pics, etc. thread which you are going to start... I would make a mess of it if I tried, my report would probably end up in a totally inappropriate thread.

  10. Right, first impressions, stilll warm from the oven...

Mica gave it all but his voice was tired. More fragile, which didn't make it less beautiful but more touching.

The audience was as insane as yesterday, the set as long, if not longer -the show lasted a little longer than on the 11th.

There was no stage invasion but very special features : the little girl I had noticed yesterday as a brilliant dancer was invited on stage -and on top of the piano- by Mica, Aurélien played a few notes on the same instrument -which, incidentally, is just a baby grand, I think...-

I thought I had enjoyed the gig less than yesterday for a very simple reason : I filmed most of it plus I had been given a special filming assignment by Id3 -nothing that's going to circulate on the Internet, only for his own use- and I have always found that you can't have fun and film at the same time.

But apparently I did enjoy it as when we were coming down a young couple -first Mica gig, little stars twinkling in their eyes, so endearing !- told me 'You did like the concert, didn't you'. 'Yes, of course, I did'. 'Because we saw you dancing and singing and having the time of your life !'.

We chatted a bit and they told me that they had been overwhelmed by Mica's energy, generosity, presence and huge talent, that they were taken by surprise because, even though they had seen videos and heard reports from friends it was way beyond their wildest expectations.

To me it was the perfect end to a great night.

My thoughts go to the courageous fans who are probably still waiting outside for the big man.

I didn't join them, either yesterday or tonight because I am still embarrassed about the painting thing and I want to wait some time before approaching him again.

I was happy to meet MFCers tonight, either ones I already knew -Sophie, where the hell were you ?- or new ones, like the lovely mother and daughter from Romania, first Mica gig too.

    Good night, folks,

  12. about the painting, maybe he just doesn't have a place to hang it up and didn't want to accept it cause he thought it would be a shame to stuff that beautiful painting in a corner somewhere. :dunno:

He is planning to have three residences, one in London, one in Paris and a third somewhere else -in the country perhaps, he likes the countryside.

So I am not -repeat : not- taking the painting back to my mother !

  13. Thank you Mariposa, Em and Marie-Thérése and everybody else for your interesting and funny reports!:thumb_yello:

    :wink2:

    Haha, this is so funny!:roftl:

I think I can glimpse the fear on your face when he’s hesitant to accept it, I bet you’re thinking of all the trouble it will be to drag the thing all the way back home again!:naughty:

Anyway, it must have been a beautiful present and I think his doubt to accept it may be a result of his upbringing; he is a very polite person as far as I know!:wub2:

You're kidding me ! I would have lit a bonfire with it in my eldest son's backyard  ...

I don't think it's the result of upbringing. On the contrary, good upbringing teaches you to accept presents graciously.

I think it's more a psychological thing, he doesn't realise how much he gives us because giving is second nature to him so he does it without realising how incredibly generous he is, and when we want to give something back to him he just can't understand why.

All the fans did lecture him about it then but I think that what made him see he couldn't refuse was when I told him that denying people the pleasure to give was a very ungenerous thing to do ; you could read on his face that he had got the message and accepted it for true.

We are not only the fans of a hugely talented musician but of a very special person too...

  14. Thanks, Suze, you're a genius. I gave it to Mica on behalf of my mother. I hope he liked it as much as he was obviously touched by her gesture. But then, he has always been so adorable with her, she felt it was a very poor way to thank him for his great kindness.

Looking at the picture, I can't help thinking that it looked way better standing on a Persian carpet. Not that my mother would have stopped at giving it to him too, but I would definitely have stopped at carrying it, on a train, then the underground !

  15. This is the fabulous and famous painting that Mika received from marie-andrée de rougemont - given by her mother:

  16. Ah a last one!

Mika's dad was so PROUD of his son' date=' you could see his face totally radiant, it was a pleasure to see that!

A special thanks to Sariflor who kindly managed to get the two limited edition posters I had to get for Rose and Blue Sky,[b'] I could not find the merchandising [/b]and when I was told where it was, I was already out of the venue... And the security guy would not let me back in... SO THANKS SARI !!!!!

I have to buy 4 badges for a friend tonight, anybody going there yesterday see them at the merchansiding stall ?
