I think I'm gonna come up to London for this anyway .... I wonder if on the night they're gonna do the 100 free tickets for the Standby queue as they seem to be doing it for most of the acts playing at the roundhouse .... I'd hate for them to do it and I could have been there and I'm in bloody Clacton
So I'm gonna book up on Friday when I get paid and hope I get a ticket or something ...

Msounds: a pair of tickets
but we are hoping multiple pairs of tickets because we try to be like paolonutini fans
Perhaps Paolo Nutini is more generous

I think i will not bid. It will be a sad war between Mfcers (just 5 couples for 30 Mfcers).
So i'm in the kind hands of msounds, hoping that the free tickets will be more than a couple, hoping that all Mfcers will win.
Anyway i have some doubts that we will know the winners of the free tickets the 17 July.
The 17 July the contest finish but it's not so granted that they proclaim the winners the same day.
Sometimes to be a good fan is so difficult.
I'm also astonished that Uk people of MFC won just 1+1 ticket!
so many not-mfcers subscribed the Facebbock contest? just for sport? not for to be fan?
I am not sure I quite agree with you.
First many of us may dream of going but wouldn't be able to anyway for job, family, money reasons. Some MFCers have confessed to entering the ticket contest while knowing they couldn't make it if they won.
Money... I believe in the long run it will be a not so sad war between people who are free and can afford to bid high -or not so high as the case may be. And the highest bidders may not be diehard fans, just people who want to spend a pleasant evening at the Roundhouse, listening to good music. If they are not Londoners or at the very least UK residents, it's going to be really tricky for them to buy a plane or train ticket a week before the gig, at the peak of the summer hols, that's for sure.
So I don't think you should let scruples stop you from bidding.
Do we have figures about the number of tickets that will actually be allocated, one way or the other ? I've read '300' a few times but is it sure or just a guess ?

YES, it's difficult to be a fan, i thought Mika would be pleased to see most of us , faithful fans coming from all over the world...

yesterday , had a look on Easyjet...pfff, it would be awful to learn that i won a ticket without having booked a fkight..;( yes , i can travel the Channel by swimming at last..)

okay, okay, i am becoming very reasonable and i'll wait with patience;
On the 17th of july: 7AM in front of ticketmaster + keeping my mobile phone in hand ( just in case).
<curiously, i am certain that i won't go to this gig, diddn't book a flight and hotel....

I'm in a pub with a free internet connexion in Liverpool right now. I've seen on my phone that I could win tickets mwa ha ha!! So OF COURSE I registered, fingers crossed!!!

But it may well be that your email address is registered on MS -as Mari62 believes-then you'll have to borrow your dad or mum's adddress and it should work.
Which means, incidentally, that the record company is not interested in die hard fans but in new people likely to buy albums and stuff... rather cynical, don't you think ? But then Sire IS a businessman.
