I still believe that 'gay' means 'homosexual' -sorry to sound like Niki 27, we certainly don't need her... identical twin on this forum !- ; so much so that the original meaning of gay -happy, easy going, etc.- has been dropped so that there shouldn't be any confusion. Actually I favour 'homosexual' because 'gay', in my view, smells of bigotry, conjuring up images of hip swinging, rather feminine, guys.
When a guy -whether he is homo-, hetero- or bi-sexual is immaterial- looks, sounds, acts, moves like the archetype of the gay man, the term is 'camp', used by Sire himself. 'Fruity' is more American English. And 'metrosexual' means a guy who is probably straight but whose dress sense and general attitude seems meant to confuse people.
Anyroad, if you tell an English speaking guy he is gay, it means you think he is homosexual. Might get you lucky
... or might get your face punched if he is not only not gay but a poof hater into the bargain 
!As for being loud about one's sexual orientation... I believe that the day two guys -or girls- can hold hands in the street as a matter of fact, introduce a partner of any gender with the same pleasure and ease, the world will be a better place to live in. And not only for homosexuals

Sorry if my latest message was a bit harsh, man, but you did pick on the least bigoted girl you could imagine.
What is unhealthy is not so much the fact that people believe that Sire is a gay guy, or a closet gay, or ramrod straight, or a a closet straight, or a sturdy, hump anyone in view bisexual... what is pathetic and worryng is that we should be discussing whether his video shows his sexual orientation rather than its artistic value.
The day people think of me as the middle height, rather cute gay guy with the longish nose and the ash blond hair, I will feel cheated because I am that, but much more than that, I hope.
No hard feelings ?

I believe that they are all the time trying to hide -from themselves first and foremost- that they are insane.
If they were trying to hide their own mistakes, it would mean that they are aware of being wrong once in a while. Nah, they probably see it as 'not wanting to upset less lucid MFCers'.
Glad to see you no longer whine 'I'll miss you... it was beginning to feel as if you had ESP and saw one of my planes crashing while crossing the pond.

Semantics is a matter of learning, not of sexual orientation.
Confident about your own sexuality ? That sounds defensive. Hope one day -soon- you'll be comfortable about it. As I am.
When you start thinking that 'gay' is a compliment, it strongly smells of bigotry -and gay people can be as big bigots as straight ones, if you haven't realised that yet, you should look around and listen and watch. Intolerance is not located below the belt but in the mind.
And anyway I wasn't reacting to the oh-so-thrilling issue of Sire's sexual orientation, but to your VM to Laura, which was at the same time patronising and wrong, semantically speaking .
If my VM to you sounded patronising too, perhaps it's a catching disease, although I can be pretty dogmatic too

I am afraid you are confused, man.
Ask Niki to make sure but :
- 'camp' or 'metrosexual' expresses a way of moving, dressing, speaking, which has nothing to do with sexual orientation, straight men can be awfully fruity -or camp-, gay ones quite manly ;
- 'gay' means homosexual, that is to say, and to make matters clear, being attracted by and having sex with people of your own gender, it has everything to do with S. O.
So beware : when you're spending some time in an English speaking country, avoid telling a guy that you are gay unless you actually are quite sure that you fancy men, or you might have an unpleasant surprise, ie, being beaten up by a poof basher or getting lucky with a fairy

Have you noticed that when you send your bundles or joy to stay at friends', the guys' mothers congratulate you on their behaviour and when you receive a kid whose mother tells you he is a menace, he turns out to be adorable ? When my mother sent me to stay over at a chum's, she ended up looking like a negative bitch , who didn't deserve to have such an angel as a son

So far, my all time fave vid had been AOW in Brixton Academy, February 28th, by Suzie I think, from very near, absolutely breath taking
.But yours of Over my shoulder, on June 6th, beats it in my view.
I've just been watching it for the first time -I tend to download like mad and then watch when I can find the time- and realised at the very end that I hadn't been breathing for over 4 mn
... I might consider taking up deep-diving ...It's absolutely perfect
. I have always more or less connected perfect with slightly boring, but your video is perfect and fascinating 
. Sire and Alexander's voices, Mica's face... even the sweat dripping from his forehead added to the magic, in a weird way. And the crowd must have felt it because they were quieter than in church until the last note, when they litterally exploded

I am sure there must be loads of drugs to get rid of your health problems. Just needs time and I can imagine that you are fed up with the treatments, the physiotherapy and even seeing the doctors' faces
