  1. I like how he evolved it from its original demo format to this... lovely...
  2. It's the scary mannequins and it is not totally acoustic.... he is definitely singing live.. but with backup music and vocals...
  3. he is playing "house" on this show... having a blast changing a different outfit for every song...
  4. skeletal red mechanics pullover.... interesting fashion... the first two songs were great... this album looks like another hit... well done...
  5. nice calligraphy... i like it..
  6. it was great meeting you on Friday :)

  7. well here's the link to download it... http://www.sendspace.com/file/7bh7yd It's not my file or link.. don't even know who uploaded it... I hope they don't mind if they do, please delete the link
  8. I can't even remember what I told him in Lebanese.. I think he was either taken back or didn't understand a word of what I was saying either way he nodded back with a polite smile... I guess any picture would do.. even if it was of Jemma's - I like Jemma ... it's the memory of knowing I was there that counts - I guess what do you mean making noise!??? there is absolutely no proof that I was even there
  9. Sariflor, I will take you for the meet up for drinks offer message me on facebook I see... the MFC will NEVER forgive me for that - what do you call it (mishap, blooper, confusion, oldlings-memory-gone-bad) for My Interpretation I like my new reputation... after-gig-party organizer, song-list-confusion-maker, irrelevant-thread-poster blue eyes, love your pics.. and am glad I captured your fangurly moment
  10. Oups! sorry Guy... you know oldlings tend to forget and talk a lot... although we are not talking about things that are too far from the gig subject... I was referring to the new target audience noticed in the theatre Oh, oh well - I don't know what type of relationship you have - not all gay men I know live a promiscuous life or have an "open" relationship - so I rarely assume anything... to each his own - enjoy it .... no am not boasting ... anyhoo... this is the MFC (very PG friendly forum) and this thread is a gig one - so to avoid having Guy shoot me soon I will wish you the best of luck in your future and give you a vistual hug
  11. Oh I remember the whole thing very well... I was standing right next to you - and had my camera on ready for pictures and was listening to the whole conversation... I couldn't take a proper picture of him drawing cause he leaned against the metal rail in an angel that I couldn't see - and I didn't want to push or blind him with my camera flash while he was drawing your tattoo when you told him your plans he had a very concerned look like someone has just given a huge responisbility - I remember I did tell him "come on you can do it, it's fun" and I do remember someone else also said something to encourage him He was super concentrating while drawing his signature... he felt quiet responsible...
  12. next time you're in London we will party the night away.. yes! now we're talking... we both live now in the same city... no excuses... and I promise you, we will get lost in the "safe" side of the city this time we partied till quiet late .. and I had to wake up very early the next morning to go to Brighton's pride... I think I slept like a baby last night... I think next time he should play somewhere in Le marais or soho - THAT WOULD BE A MONUMENTAL gig... especially if he pulled some of those moves in his director's cut WAG... THAT will insure more friendly men in Q lovely videos.. thanks sara I think it was Laurel and me that were confused .. Silver remembered the correct name of the song YAY!!!! that's it... am writing down the party guest list next time everyone plans a sleepover in London - not that many of you will end up sleeping... Oh dear! I thought you already have a boyfriend... but hey, my gaydar works almost 100% - I can even detect the in the closet married to a women types if that doesn;t work... I can always introduce you to one of my friends... they didn't nickname me the "the godmother fruit fly" for nothing yea.. I agree with your point... wasn't at the sadler's wells... but if it was half of what brixton was then I can imagine how it was... next time I meet Mika, can someone please snap a picture of me with him - or a video - or anything.. I have met him 5 times already and have nothing - nada- zilch - zero pictures (just one taken with me in the background - but that doesn't really count) - and one video with my horrible squeaky voice saying am from Lebanon... don't want him to stop the q or delay the whole meet and greet process - I have total respect why he declined taking a picture with me... but next time a candid video shot would have made me just as happy... that way he is happy not posing for a picture... and I can finally show my friends that I have indeed seen mika...
  13. I just want to say one more thing... I am very happy to have met old MFCers ... get to know and bond with others even more... and met new ones all together... also, am thankful for Mika's management for dedicating 50 tickets to his hardcore fans... and of course, to whoever was behind the scenes here arranging, contacting and working on getting the MFC those free tickets... all the hard work is much appreciated... now, next time I meet MFCers, you guys better join the after party - mine that is... not Mika's
  14. okaaaay... i get it now I would say 75% of the men were gay 25% with their girlfriends/wives... it's a healthy change to see men in his gigs...
  15. To be honest, I don't think it was Mika that made any extra effort - the staff were the same as the rest of the venues - in fact one of the security guys was a little bit too loud giving orders around) ... Mika was simply his usual pleasant self - I think this time around it was the quality of people that were in the M&G it's always the screaming, the pushing, and asking for more that makes it all annoying.. and there was none of that... also, I noticed more men in the Q and the audience than the other gigs that I have been to (except in Beirut it was filled with families and people of all age groups and genders) I think there was a big number of men in the audience - most were gay and friendly
  16. actually the whole meet and greet was soo quiet that Mika was almost there for 5 minutes and spoke to about at least 10 fans before I even noticed he was there... it was as if he almost sneaked on us:naughty: am glad you're enjoying the pics and videos...
  17. this picture is taken right at the end - after he spoke to everyone, signed the stuff - didn't take a picture with me and almost on his way to the car the people that you see in the back are actually not talking to him and not trying to push their way in - they are done with their turn and are just watching the last couple of fans get their stuff signed... I stood in the back and started clicking the camera randomly This was a civilized meet and greet... nothing compared to Brixton and I think mainly the age group was not waaaaay too young (don't want to start a debate here cause I know there are many reasonable young fans and lots of insane old ones - but relatively this crowd was on the mature side
  18. no, it's Kath's... I took pictures of Mika while he was drawing it and then the end result after he was done... it's all Kath's... I didn't get anything signed...
