    We say:

     

    Ho studiato italiano per un mese in settembre/ottobre l'anno scorso a Roma ma l'ho dimenticato

     

    the article "uno" in its entire form is used in a very few cases, it generally looses the final "o" when the next word begins by consonant, except "S", or when the next word begins by vocal (in this case NO apostrophe!!!, we are speaking about masculine article)

     

    - un conto

    - un mese

    - un esempio

    - un amico

    - un orso

    - un uovo

    - un inizio

    - uno sconto

     

    a Roma: the place you are mentioning is a town, in this case the right preposition is "A"

    - Ho studiato A Roma (a Venezia, a Londra...)

    when you speak about a nation or a continent you should use "IN"

    - Ho studiato IN Italia (in Francia, in Europa...)

     

    And then we add "lo" in front of the verb (in this case l+apostrophe, because the verb begins with "H"): it's a pronoun and it means what you forgot (in this case, your Italian).

    The verb "dimenticare" always requires an object: it may be a pronoun as in this case

    - l'ho dimenticato

    a word:

    - ho dimenticato l'italiano

    or a whole sentence

    - ho dimenticato di studiare (italiano, or maths...)

    There should be a like button on this website :aah: I just agree with everything on this thread :wub2: But to be honest, I know him because of the avengers and Thor and haven't watched any other movies of his... Since I'm watching all of Cumberbatch's movies now, can anyone advise me good movies where Hiddles is in (not all of them, the really good ones) ?

     

    War Horse has both Ben and Tom, in small roles. Tom also has a small role in Midnight In Paris. But if you can see Only Lovers Left Alive he is a vampire...

     

    As above for smaller roles he's in those two and he was also in The Deep Blue Sea (NOT to be confused with the film about the shark!) though i don't remember much about it as it was before I was aware of his fantastical acting presence. He was also in the BBC series Hollow Crown playing as Henry V though I must confess, though i have bought it, i have not seen it yet so :blush-anim-cl:

    For main roles, Only Lovers Left Alive really does show his incredible abilities :thumb_yello:

    He's my favorite actor EVER. And he's also a really really nice person.

     

    I don't think i have completely favourite actor, but he's definitely up there for me with Benedict Cumberbatch :biggrin2:

    I think the fact that they are both incredible kind and decent gentlemen absolutely helps as well :wub2:

    Oh, there's a thread about him yay. He's my favorite actor ( half of my 1st tattoo is dedicated to him ) ! I went to see him in Coriolanus in december and his performance was absolutely breathtaking.

     

    I say the live broadcast at the cinema and it was absolutely fantastic! :wub2:

    I had to get the soundtrack on CD and I play track 11 over and over and over...

     

    omg i had a little squeeee moment in the cinema then! :teehee: I think it's possibly one of the sweetest and most romantic scenes in a movie i've seen... though maybe that had something to do with it being a very loving moment in amidst a load of chaos but nevermind :wub2: awwwwwwwwwwww :aah:

    Jut had to pop in and say that today I saw August: Osage County and my god he's fantastic :wub2: as are Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and everyone else of course but yes. It's a brilliant film if anyone wants to see something with a lot of drama! :biggrin2:

    I know...not sure i'm ready. Thank goodness tho, i have lots of other tv shows to watch !

     

    Did any of you guys play " Sherlock : the network" on iphone ? ( i don't know if it exists for android too or not )

     

    I (sadly) finished it yesterday, really enjoyed it. Loved the little character films and recordings! :naughty:

    You will love it after Reichenbach. No-one can resist it. And you will get post-Reichenbach syndrom, which is very hard to bear (I tell you!). So, you still have a choice to escape the tears and pain, and stop watching :mf_rosetinted:

     

    There's no chance for the rest of us so choose wisely! :aah:

    I think it's funny, and it doesn't worry me that he's done it. He probably recorded it while he was in Italy and, as others have said, it's probably in his contract. He'll also get paid for it.

    I don't think it will get in the way of his other work, and he's not perfect, but that's why he's funny.

     

    It just makes me think of David Tennant in our ads for Virgin Media. It's just an advert, they're not suddenly gonna give up their day jobs :dunno::aah:

    HELLO!

     

    It is my first time here so this is a bit new :pinkbow:

     

    errr I am here because someone commented about my siggie and I replied with something inappropriate about my siggie and Silver sent me here.... :teehee:
