if you are close to your Dad then i think you should tell him you would prefer if he did not follow you, because you want to keep some of your life separate, and Twitter is like an interactive journal that you keep with your friends, explain that you do not wish to keep things from him and he can ask you questions, but that you would like to keep your privacy on twitter and you hope he understands hugs

make a new account and block him from it and then start using that one, use the other one once in a while to distract him so he thinks that is your active acount and please do not say to anyone that i gave you this advice, because i am probably old enough to be your mum. and it is not nice what i am suggesting, i told my dad that i would block him if he got twitter. but i am an adult and live in my own place with my own kids anyways just a thought.
