Oh wow...that was a lot to take in. It is so sad how people are hurt or lose someone close because other people aren't being careful! But it's sort of a good thing that they share the sad stories, because it makes some people stop and think. I would've cried the whole time! Good luck with your biology!! The milk and cream tasting wasn't as bad as the cheese tasting. I was so excited for the cheese today...we tried 50 types...and there were only about 5 that I actually liked! 3 of them I had before: Manchego, brie, and St. Andre I tried a German cheese that looks like a brie, but it has mushrooms in it, which I liked. I also liked the Applewood smoked cheddar and the Peppadew cheese! Everything else was really strong and gross! There were a bunch of Italian cheeses, and they are hard to taste straight. My whole class and I were ready to puke! LoL Tomorrow we will make ricotta cheese and take a test I hope tomorrow is a happier day for you!

Congrats on passing your NAB!! I'm glad you are doing so well in school Yesterday we sampled different milks and creams, and learned which are best for certain recipes. Today we sampled a bunch of herbs and spices! My two favorites were dill and saffron! I had never had saffron before! We got to make our own flavored oil...I mixed dill and saffron together, so we'll see how it tastes! It has to set for 2 days I think, so I won't know right away Tomorrow we eat over 50 kinds of cheese I'm super pumped! I miss working in the Cheese Shoppe! How was your day today hun? Hey hun! Sorry for the late response, I went to the movies with Adam tonight We haven't been out of the house together in a while so it was fun! We saw the movie "Life as We Know It" and it was great! We were laughing so loud! LoL The only bad thing was there were like 5 stupid teenagers behind us that were so immature and stupid! I wanted to punch them, but I didn't lol. Today in class wasn't too bad! My filets looked a lot better than I thought they would They still need some work, but it wasn't a bad day! Hey no problem, I care about you, and want you to be back to normal health Tomorrow I will be gutting/scaling/fileting round fish...bleh. I'm dreading this worse than the chickens! Fish are so nasty! lol But it's a skill I must learn lol. I'm happy that you're doing better!

Today was a better day We didn't do much, just reviewed for the next test tomorrow. For Thanksgiving meal, we usually have an oven roasted turkey that's about 20lbs, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams (basically sweet potatoes with mini marshmallows...barf!), gravy, corn, some sort of dinner roll, and the desserts are usually, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and a pumpkin roll My mom serves her special punch...it's orange sherbert and 7up! It's so good! Today we each broke down 2 chickens...I was the last to get done I started to cry a little....I HATED breaking down the chicken! I had never done it before, and I was 2 seconds from throwing the whole thing in the trash! Oh well, tomorrow is a brand new day, right?

I never thought of myself as artistic before lol. Tomorrow we learn how to break down a chicken into thighs, legs, wings, and breasts. Haha it should be interesting! I think it's very possible that David is my knight in shining armour! He came over before school and I made him french toast He really liked it You know, I think 16 is plenty old for a boyfriend, however boys aren't very mature at that age, so it's probably a good thing that you wait a little Gives you time to focus on your studies But you're a terrific girl, and I'm sure someday you'll meet a wonderful guy But you're still young haha and everything will fall into place when it's supposed to Well I hope you have a great day off tomorrow

Oh that pie looks yummy! We eat pumpking pie every Thanksgiving (the last Thursday in November) and sometimes I'm in the mood for it, and sometimes I'm not lol. I'm glad you're feeling better Today we carved pumpkins and the students that are ahead of me that run the restaurant, got to pick 8 pumpkins to decorate the restaurant and they picked mine! I'd send a picture, but it's on my cell phone and I don't know how to upload it to the internet :/ But it has a peace sign on it in the center, to the right it spells out "Peace" vertically, and to the left is a flower I carved. I wish I could show you, but it's cute Oh and I took the zester to the peace sign and it looks tie-dye!! I got a few compliments on it

Thank you for the compliments I like my eyes too lol (not to sound vain.) Last night was awesome! We really opened up to each other and talked about a lot of things! We played a game with Altoids (really strong mints!) to see how many we could keep in our mouth without spitting any out lol. It's silly, but it was great! I really lost big time! But at least our breath was fresh! lol We got bored in the hollow, so we drove down to Maryland! I love to drive, and we had so much fun I feel so at ease with him and very relaxed! I'll have to check out Uffie and let you know I love going to a bunch of old abandoned houses and stuff. Rehmeyer's Hollow is the hot spot for a lot of teenagers to go try and freak out their friends lol. I'm sure David and I will have fun...he seems to like scary things too! We talked for a little while and I told him that I'm interested in him, but there's no pressure to do anything, and even if he just wanted to be friends I was okay with that. But I'm at an age where I don't care if I embarrass myself anymore, I just want to be honest about what I'm thinking. And he agreed. We talked about holding hands and kissing lol and when we think it's appropriate. He said as long as I'm comfortable, he's comfortable. And I told him that I'm usually the aggressive one in relationships, but I want to take a step back and let him decide where things go because I tend to move a little fast. He said he'd be okay with me being aggressive, but that he could make the first move if he knew I was comfortable. Haha oh and he flat out told me he's interested in seeing where this is going and that he enjoys hanging out with me

I hung out with David and his mom tonight for her birthday. We went to a restaurant called Texas Roadhouse and the food was great! Our waitress kept flirting with David though....next time I'm just going to sit beside him!! He was so oblivious! Haha we went back to their house for some cake and ice cream, and then when I had to leave I asked him to walk me to my car.

Oh I'm so sorry hunny bun! I have been so tired when I come home from school! LoL The party was fun, although the house wasn't child-proof and I rushed out of the house I forgot to bring something for Aiden. I think David likes me I like him too I saw his school picture from when he was 18, and boy was he a total hottie!! lol In the past 2 days at school I've learned how to julienne, rondelle, chiffinade, oblique, dice, chop, mince, batonnet, and I think that's it. We cut carrots, onions, garlic, potatoes, spinach, and green chiles I love it, although I cut myself both days...haha but it's like a paper cut...nothing serious! I smell like onions today...bleh lol. We have a test tomorrow I think I'll pass. I've learned all about Marie-Antoin Careme and some Bolanger guy lol. How have you been sweetie?

You need to put your blanket over your chest, stomach, and hips and leave your legs and arms un-covered so you feel secure, but cool lol. School was fun today. We are already starting our knife skills tomorrow! And I already have homework tonight. I'm going over to Dave's house to celebrate his birthday tonight.
