My date was great! He pulled up in a yellow camero that's only 1 year old! It was a total shock! I've only ever seen his mom's car, and that is a much older car! I like cars by the way lol We laughed and talked a lot! I had hoped for a kiss goodnight, but his allergies were acting up haha but I did get a nice hug goodbye, that didn't feel like a friendship hug We saw "My Soul to Keep"....dood it was sooo good and creepy! I was jumping every 5 minutes! I'm so glad to hear that Alice is gone! Haha I don't think you're mean for saying she's evil. Anyone who would pick on you is a creep! We're both fine hun, how are you? I'm so busy today with cleaning/baking/ and getting ready for my date tonight! LoL I have a date with this guy at my church named David, and we're going to see a scary movie I need to stop and eat lunch! LoL All my sisters cakes are made...they are cooling down now. I need to put the icing on, and then all the decorations I'm so excited! How have things been over there?

Thanks! I love taking pictures You should have seen it up there! EVERY house I passed had tons of pumpkins throughout their whole yard!!! It looked like God puked pumpkins all over everyone's yards There were lots of oranges and reds and yellows all over the place! There always is this time of year!

Oh I'm okay. We checked in the lodge around 5pm yesterday, and ended up checking out at 10:30pm that night Aiden was NOT going to sleep for me...he was too wound up. I finally told him that if he doesn't calm down and go to bed, we're going home. He was quiet for a little bit, then got up and started running around the room and making loud noises. There were people in both rooms that were next to mine, and at 11pm you have to be quiet or else you could get kicked out. So I packed up and went back home I wasn't even there a full day! :'( But my son needs to be more calm the next trip. His therapy should help him out. But, for the very short time I was there I had a decent time. I'll have to try it again when he's a little older I think.

Oh my goodness! I haven't heard anything new with Mika or his family since he named his dog Melachi! Is she okay? Good luck with your dance competitions!! I wish I was there to see you perform! I was in ballet as a little girl, but my teacher told me I had to lose weight in order to do toe dancing, so I quit. She was probably right, but I was 11 and it offended me. I LOVE tennis! I hope you get to play next time! Omg, if u came on vacation with me that'd be so much fun! We'd hike all the pretty trails and go into the crystalite caverns! They're pretty, but chilly lol. I've done a lot of random road trips with friends the past 2 days. My friend Shannon and I drove to another state last night! Just for something to do! And I took her to a scary place called Rehmeyer's Hollow. We were freaked out hahaha but it was fun! I have to run to the store to buy some batteries and laundry soap! Hey hun! Sorry for the late response. My mom's been painting the walls all weekend and because of the fumes, she wanted me to take Aiden out of the house. I hope that mean girl actually went home! I told Adam what "chaumes" means and he busted up laughing!!! He said, "stubble cheese? EW!" lol Today I'm going to pack and clean so everything is all tidy before I go on my mini vacation How have you been the past few days? Well if anything happens again, I will gladly tell her off if I could lol. If I lived over there, I'd pay a visit as a guest teacher for culinary class and I would tell her, that her dish needs improvement hahaha jk. I got to hang out with my friend Dakota today! She started school with me, but she quit to go to rehab and I missed her so much!! We had breakfast, and then we both said goodbye to Mr. Gipe, and I got my final grades....ALL A's!!!!! I got my 4.0 GPA!!! I'm so happy! I'm glad things got straightened out for you though! I hope tomorrow is a better day for you, and maybe that mean girl went home!

Hahaha! Wait til I tell my friends that still work at the Cheese Shop what Chaumes means!!! They will love that! My teacher was touched by the fact that we all signed a card for him. I bought him some "Trail Mix" because he's going hiking on some trails next week He got a kick out of that! I found out today that I passed my purchasing certification and final with a 90% and I got a 98% on my project!!!!! You told me I could do it, and you were right! I'm so happy I could just burst On top of that, I have a date next weekend with this boy at my church! He's my age and his name is Dave. He's really nice, but seems a little shy, so we'll see how it goes lol. How was your day hun?

We also sold something called "Chaumes" but I thought it was gross! It's so neat that we know some of the same cheeses! I just found out today that my really cool/funny teacher Mr. Gipe is leaving! They wanted him to teach accounting and he said no...so he resigned I'm sad for my friends who were supposed to have him next term! He's such a good teacher! I bought a card today and tomorrow everyone is going to sign it I can't believe I only have 2 days left!! It's so weird....

Omg! Yes, I know what zucchini is! Over here we slice it, dip it in milk, then flour and seasonings, and fry the slices up! It smells so good I don't like the flavor of just plain zucchini though, but zucchini bread is delicious too! Wow they grade so easily over there compared to here! They are really tough on the grading system here! In college, 90-100% is an A, 80-89% is B, 70-79% is C, 60-69% is D, and everything 59 or less is an F...the worst grade of all! In high school it was a lot worse! An A was only 93-100%!! The Port Salut tastes like a cheese we make over here called Muenster cheese...only Port Salut is creamier.

My day was actually pretty boring. I thought we were supposed to have a test in math today, but we just reviewed the chapters instead. A 68% over here is a D, which is the next to lowest letter grade u can get :/ But serves me right for not studying!! LoL That gruyere sounds good! I've had smoked gruyere before...that was good...not my favorite cheese, but not the worst. I like the wenslydale cheese with cranberries...it's actually quite good! Oh, and I've seen Boursin in the store, but never ate it. I've had Port Salut and smoked Rambol (fume)....those are both soo good and creamy!!! Not sure if they're French or not...just sound French to me! I hope you feel better sweetie! Make like Mika and just RELAX....TAKE IT EAAAAAAAAAASSY! I'm doing well. I'm very excited for Raystown next week! I'll take some more pix!! What is Courgette like?

Yes, that's my son under the rock I will be in a different building next term. I'll be in Kitchen 1 (aka K1) for this next semester. I've had mini baguettes, but my favorite french thing is brie! We sell a St. Andre triple creme brie over here and it's my favorite! My second favorite is Cour de Lion brie Yum Yum! Oh and of course La Roule Fromaige frais So yummy! I can't believe my term is almost over!! I'll be happy to not be in class with this evil girl Maria anymore!! But I will miss Kristen and Karen :'( But they talk to me all the time on facebook so I'm sure we'll keep in touch I'm glad you and I are going through school together!! Today I worked on the rest of my project! I hav everything printed out...I just need to rewrite my calculations for the food costs for my recipes, to make them more organized. Then I have to put all my papers together in a little display folder for my entire presentation. But since this whole thing has made me a little frazzled, I'm taking a little break! Ugh...and I still have to study for 2 tests tomorrow!! Oh well, it'll be okay

Actually, I didn't know that liking garlic was a French stereotype! haha The only ones I've heard are you guys are either romantic or snobby, and you love brie and baguettes. (I don't think you're snobby at all...just how some French characters are portrayed in some films, but it's always men! ) I'm glad you had a lot of fun, but sorry you were made to clean & do homework! I guess you're supposed to be responsible lol. The movie was REALLY good! It had a very surprising ending!! I'll have to email you some pictures I've taken around the lake and on trails. There's one thing in France I'm dying to see (besides meeting you ) but I'd probably be too afraid when I got there. I want to see the catacombs! I saw a movie about it, and my sister told me about it when she went there. I've never seen anything like it! I like a lot of scary things lol. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day hun! I had a pretty good day! I cleaned the lady's apartment (I do this every other Saturday) and then I just chilled here at home. Last night I cooked for Adam. I made immitation crabcakes, blackened tilapia (it's a seasoning), cheddar & garlic biscuits, and cinnamon cake with cream cheese icing He passed out and woke me up at 4am. Today I rented a movie called "The Uninvited". It's supposed to be scary...we'll see lol. How was your day hun? I hope you have fun during your campout!!! And I also hope you have a fun day off

I didn't hear about Hello Kitty until I was a teenager, and I've loved it since!! Every 15 weeks we get a break, plus a week off about half way between each term. So I'll get one in October, one for Christmas, one in Feb, one in April, one in June, one in Aug, then again in October. That's the cycle I like the film Hairspray too Every September 11th I watch a lot of their documentaries and I still cry sometimes, but I don't think anyone should forget how America came together as a whole Nation for a while We really supported our troops and lifted each other up...and now we are separated by our political views....it's sad. Yes, Raystown Lake is where we camp I'll see if I can send you a link to where I'm staying in a couple weeks I will DEFINITELY send you pics of the Wizard of Oz cake! I'm so excited to make it!!! Monday, I'm taking Aiden down to the Baltimore Aquarium in Maryland. Tuesday we're driving out to western PA to see the Flight 93 Memorial (the plane that was supposed to hit the White House on September 11th, but the passengers took control and it crashed in the middle of nowhere instead.) and then on the way back we're stopping in at Raystown Lake for a few days It'll be interesting to see what it looks like in Autumn! I always see it in the summer, but it'll be nice to be just me and Aiden. Our first vacation just the 2 of us I'll leave there Thursday, then on Friday, Adam, Aiden, and I are going to an Amish farmer's market about an hour away from us It's called "Green Dragon" and they have a lot of homemade goods and specialties. Then Saturday is my sister's 40th Birthday party, and I'm making a HUGE Wizard of Oz cake Your night sounded like soooo much fun!!! I would have been hysterical....laughing a bunch!

I'm doing much better today, thank you I had a long conversation with this girl, Kristin, in my class about Hello Kitty We are both OBSESSED with Hello Kitty lol. It's funny...we're both almost 30 and love that little kitty, but it's funny! I'm having a pretty good day! For my week off of school (10/10/2010 - 16/10/2010) I have a LOT planned!
