But I'll organize a small party for my friends and there's an Amusement Park in Copenhage which is called "Le Tivoli", it's really beautiful, it's in the city center and there're roller coasters, it's really an amusent park. [...] I want to close it for one night for only 30 people to celebrate my 30th birthday in such an amusement park, it'd be magic". - He is nominated for the NRJ Music Award & happy about it. I'm working in a supermarket twice a month, it's my student job, and I can tell that Mika is still played there. I'm not really fond of the music they play, it's mostly the latest hits (One Direction, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Adele, ...) and Relax, Rain, Grace Kelly, Happy Ending, WAG & Blame it on the Girls are still played. And I hear people singing around me when these songs are played. Most of my friends wouldn't have known about Mika's new CD if I hadn't told them. Same for the gig in Brussels, I told them and bought the tickets. Mika lacks of promo, even in Belgium. I feel like radios talk about silly things, tell silly stories instead of promoting music worth getting some promo. :'(

You're right, I remember I've translated an interview about that... Maybe the one he did for France 2 (for "the News"). He said that he wouldn't tour as long as he used to because he didn't want to lose his creativity by touring like crazy. But still, I didn't expect that "not as long as last time" would mean THIS. I'm not complaining as I went to 2 of his gigs a few weeks ago but well... it's no as if the CD had been well promoted everywhere ! Even in Belgium, I know plenty of people who ARENT AWARE that Mika has released a new CD And I'm not talking about people who dislike him but people who actually love his 2 previous Cds... So, I cant imagine what it is like in further countries, which do not benefit from the promo he did in France.

Right... I can still hope to see him play at a festival in Belgium or Japan ... I hope the timing'll be good

I'm now hinking of travelling to UK in December ... Gotta study harder now if I want make it... Off to study :')
